Macgyver Well week 3 down and the only problem I've seen was the leaves curling a bit on the 2 smaller plants. I've also noticed the five finger leaves are kinda to small for there spacing on each finger.
I'm wondering how well the cfl do on an auto.The only other grow was with few bags seed that I vegged in the house and moved outside and we're stolen a few weeks later.
Running 13, 23 watt cfl's atm.
The new picks are 4 days later and I feed them again

Macgyver Just added another 12 cfl,total 552 watts 2x4 area
Added some ebsom salt to the mix bc 2 plants are alot lighter green in color.

Macgyver I gave them a flush
Hit them with ebsom salt and 30 ml of skim milk and ph the water with baking soda.
It all started well but feed to early and was short cal mag and ph up, down and a meter.
The tallest was 30 inch and the shortest was 12.They started to purple a little in the buds during week 9.
Overall I got about 30 to 40 grams a plant.
Next grow I have 5 pineapple express and crystal meth.
The buds smelled so cookie like an all and all it turned out ok compared to the weed around cape breton.
My next run should be a lot better.
2 - 450 watt meizhi led panels(200 true watts each) ph meter, ppm meter, gh grow, micro, Kool bloom.
Thanx fast buds for my first auto grow and many to come.

Macgyver The smoke was very smooth and tasty.The smell of the plants wasn't strong at all during the grow.
If I could go back and tell myself about this grow from the future what would I have changed with the money I had at the time
1. Buy Cal-mag and bloom
2. Don't feed for the first month
3. Tag each pot the day they popped outta the soil.
4. Feed and watered on there dates that popped not everyone the same day
5. Picked one plant to smoke after 2 months not pick off em all.
6. A ph meter and ph up and down
7. I could have saved money by ordering broken down nutrients from eBay and for all you ppl reading this just call the number and provided and take the order over the phone.I got a free bottle for the price of 3 if I had of ordered it online and they will break down anything they have on hand into 8$ 8 Oz bottles.
Hi I have noticed some major flaws in this grow , I think you know the ph was out and probably roots were poor , don't listen to all these crazy people who say below 6.5 is right , it might also be the light as I found CFL s to be very low intensity, and so buds had to be close which in turn made them too hot ,
It's all a learning curve, but here it is - treating seeds with care , never transplant auto flowers , bigger pot = bigger plant , bigger light = bigger plant , let tap water stand for 24hrs , ph after you've added nutrients, don't get too wet in too often soil let them dry out , above all learn from each grow - good luck with the next one π
@BigDaddyK, I've order ph up ph down, cal mag, Kool bloom, I'm not gonna use gro in my next grow.i have a ppm and ph meter comming, a 60x scope for pictures.im gonna be growing pineapple express and I'm gonna add more perlite to the mix.at 9 weeks the buds are nice would have been better if there were leaves left on the plants lol but I'd say I got at least 40 grams a plant average.
@Macgyver, if it's not much inconvenience, could you complete the strain evaluation profile, please? You just need to fill in the 1-10 stars strain rating in the harvests page. Thank you much and congrats for your beautiful grow.
PH is super important you will find that you might not use the cal mag if the ph is 6.5 - also when you get the ppm meter , check the water on its own and see - if it's over 300 you probably don't need calcium as your water is hard - good luck π
Secret to big plants is big roots - use some rhiztonic in the first 5 weeks (canna )
