I'm going to be traveling for about 10 days over the holidays, but I didn't want to wait to plant seeds from Seed City by Barney's Farm. I didn't get original packaging, so nothing to see there. I accidentally made some pretty great soil in an outdoor garden box long before I began enjoying cannabis let alone growing it. I filled some 7 gallon cloth pots in August and some random wildflower seeds that never sprouted in the garden box began to grow. At that point, I knew cannabis would be next. I grew sunflowers to about 36" and I think there's a lot of similarities to cannabis.
Anyway, I cleaned out everything from my tent on Wednesday, 11.20 due to lack of room and whiteflies. I scrubbed the tent and mixed in a fresh bag of organic potting soil into my 3 now empty cloth pots. On a whim, I dropped a Purple Punch Auto into the center of one about 3/4 an inch in and covered her up. I proceeded to get legitimately sick (strep maybe), and I found a lovely present Sunday (11.24) morning. I'd kept the area damp with a spray bottle and a plastic dome for some humidity. The seedling outgrew the dome in about 3-4 days (no pics).
After day 1, just spritzed the little guy once or twice a day - very unscientific. Plan for the grow is to let it grow. I've never grown a cannabis plant, so i kind of want to get a feel for it. I'm expecting my travels to stress the plant but I've ordered some terra cotta plant feeders to hopefully prevent the plants from getting too dry. I know however many days they don't get fresh water and nutrients will affect yield, but I wanted to get it started. The other 3 pots will be getting fresh Purple Punch seeds after I get back Jan 1st-ish.
Keep it much shorter here in week 2. Again, everything is being done pretty casually as I'm kind of just testing it out with my first grow knowing there'll be some complications I can't prevent. Anywho, this week was mostly just spritz and thoroughly dampen the soil near the base and let the leaves drip.
On day 10 or 11 (again, unscientific) I mixed some 5-1-1 into a half gallon and the pot got maybe .25 L of that. Very light intro to some nutrients. Was planning on using the 5-1-1 I have until about week 4 and then switching to a 2-8-4 (Tiger Bloom) for the remainder.
Seems healthy and happy so I'm just gonna keep doing what I'm doing here.
Plan for week 3 is a bit more of the 5-1-1 on day 17, but again pretty light. I think the water needs are going to start to increase quick now that the foliage is starting to plume. Will be back to update comment later this week.
Alrighty then, update: Day 17 here, so I went ahead and added some of the 5-1-1 fertilizer. I went with approximately 1.5 Tsp/L of the Alaska brand fertilizer which is half of the recommended flowering dose (3 Tsp per L). The plant got about .1-.2 L of the solution. We'll see. I'm not too concerned about overfeeding, but I'm going to try to be a LITTLE more scientific on this record. I would like to be able to replicate successes and improve failures.
There are 3 carrots and two plants that I think are flowers in my other pots which leaves me with another issue. I still have a few whiteflies flitting about in there, so everything got doused with Neem Oil before watering. Thats why today's pictures have droopy leaves -- they'd been sprayed kind of heavily with neem oil. Her leaves were straight as an arrow moments earlier. The base/trunk seems to move fairly freely in the dirt...felt like something that should worry me, so I firmed that area by pressing on the soil.
She's up to 6", so I moved the light up to 20" away again.
More pics and updates later in the week.
Day 18 Update: I turned the LED off this morning to snap a good picture. I forgot to turn it back on apparently before I left for work. Fucking pothead. Anyways, she lost 10 hours of light that she'll never get back, but she looks great still. Basically no growth since yesterday. Pics from today will go up later in the week.
Day 19 Update: Well, I decided all other vegetation in the tent needed to go. So it's all gone. But then I had three big cloth pots full of dirt...so, we'll see if there aren't a few seedlings in a few days. But that'll be another diary. My first plant still looks pretty awesome, but to be fair, I couldn't really recognize issues yet if there were any as this is truly my first cannabis plant. There's a slight aroma from a few inches away. Just water today, spritzed the leaves and such. The soil is still a little damp. The stem/root/trunk/base is filling out and feels much less flimsy as it did a few days ago; the base didn't move with several water bottle spritzes directly to the plant. I'm going to keep both of my lights on for a few days of 20/4 while the new seeds sprout - want to keep it a little warmer. Otherwise, I dropped a couple pictures of my tent setup after cleaning out the other plants today. BTW carrots in a peat moss rapid rooter needs to transplanted so the mesh doesn't totally frak up the root aka the carrot.
One other thing: well before I planted a cannabis seed, I did a number of PH tests on my tap water as well as the soil. As best as I could tell, the colors seemed to match in a low 6.something, so I went with 6.2 until I deem it necessary for a more precise measure. And any water used on the plants has been left out to let trace chemicals evaporate off. So maybe I've been a bit more scientific about it than I realized. Also, appreciate the first comment Rusticbuds!
Day 21 Update: Approximately 2 Tsp of the 5-1-1 to approx 1 L of water. Almost all of that went in the soil around the plant last night. Still well under recommended dosage. Leaves still look perfectly green and healthy so I'll do about that every third day until I go out of town, so maybe 2x more this week and then Tiger Bloom (2-8-4 I believe) in low doses when I'm back. Haven't seen any whiteflies in the past 48 hours since plucking and cleaning and none under the Purple Punch leaves that I saw. Since I'm sticking to the original plan to just let this one grow, there isn't much to do with it, but I'm starting to research LST for future plants.
Other pots are staying damp and warm with plastic domes over the seeds. First one sprouted in 4 days, tomorrow will be 3.
Day 22 Update: I spent a while reading and looking at other GrowDiaries specifically for LST. I decided I should try some, but not much, to get a feel for it. Well, I used soft ties folded into a long U or V shape and poked the ends into the soil. None of them are that deep so it might not hold too well. I also pulled the top stalk towards one of the rope handles to hopefully give the lower branches room to stretch. Most of the main stalk is still pliable, but the top part very much so. Earlier in my GrowDiary, I mentioned how similar sunflowers and cannabis are and each day confirms the similarities (obviously one gets much bigger and the other has much more foliage, but yeah), so I felt comfortable manipulating the plants. I also read about topping and FIMing, but I think I'm definitely too late for that, so maybe on my next kiddos.
Fresh water today. A little more aggressive with my 5-1-1. 3 Tsp into about .5 gal of room temp water. About 2/3rds of that mix went into this plant. A little got poured around the edges of my humidity domes so I didn't oversaturate. Time to keep an eye on it and keep the lower limbs growing straight from the stalk. More 5-1-1 Tuesday or Wednesday night. My second light was making things way too warm since my exhaust system is yet to be installed (ordering today). So just the one main Galaxy Hydro (Roleadro) 1000W about 20 inches above the main plant for the foreseeable future.
Midnight update: I adjusted the LST to pull the main stem further one way as I move the other limbs in the other direction as best I can. I ordered some gardening staples so those may help. Even with my limited experience, it feels like things are going well. Hope the other seeds come up soon.
Day 23 Update: Still seems like all is well. Foliage looks healthy. LST seems to be working. Water tomorrow night probably. One of the other three seeds has sprouted, still hopeful the other two will as well.
Day 24 Update: Big day! Garden staples, a trio of Fox Farm nutrients, carbon filter, and exhaust fan all arrived today; all got installed tonight! So, the pics from today will show the LST touchups with the garden staples as well as the base of the stalk being stabilized to the other handle. I get the sense that the main stem is still going to be much taller, but the side branches seem like they are in good shape to start growing vertical. I doubt I'll mess with the LST too much from this point. Furthermore, since I think there's still at least another week of veg, I gave her 2 tsp (10 ml) of Fox Farm Grow Big (6-4-4) in a half gallon. About 2/3rds of that went in again, but a decent amount ran out, so hopefully not too strong still. The growth feels good so as long as that takes ok, water next, then another feed before I go out of town. My vacation watering stuff should be here tomorrow so I think I'm going to be 100% ready to go out of town and not worry too much. I'm testing the temps in the tent now with both lights on at their highest point. I'll move the LED over this plant back down to 24 inches tomorrow.
Seedling update: 2 of 3 are looking good and healthy. The third hasn't popped up, so I'm thinking, maybe no go. I realized that pot was next to the vent where I have an exhaust booster blowing fresh air in and maybe that caused the pot not to be warm enough? I moved that one to a different spot in the tent so maybe it'll get some warmth and still grow. One can hope.
I'm worried that low humidity might be an issue, so that will need to get sorted before I leave obviously, but otherwise, I'm really happy with the install of the exhaust and getting the tent reloaded and getting both of my lights in use! Also gave me a chance to clean out the tent pretty well. So everything's clean and installed and running smooth! This is a lot of fun...also, if anyone reads this, I'm keeping this diary for me, and I like to write!
Day 27 Update: It looked like a very light bit of yellowing at a handful of leaf tips yesterday, but they're turning back green today, so probably just water next. I have to pickup my vacation watering stuff and see how that all works. Otherwise, everything looks pretty good still. The 2 seedlings are doing well, keeping them spritzed a couple times a day for light watering. The third never popped so I planted a new seed 12.18 because I have several more seeds. We'll see how it goes.
The humidity has been kind of difficult to control, but a couple things I've read are working okay. The air is just dry these days I think so my plan is to leave several bowls of water under a ceiling fan to keep the overall humidity in the apt up while I'm gone. After a 24 hours of full exhaust, both lights running, and a wet towel hung in the tent, the humidity was in the high 30's and everything except the soil was bone dry. I think it'll be alright while I'm gone.
Not much else to say that the pictures won't. Several new shots from the past three days up now.
Day 28 Update: I moved one of the seedlings to where I've had this plant, on top of a cinder block. This let me lower both lights to about 22 inches for the seedlings and 18" for main plant. I feel like the ambient humidity has way more impact on tent humidity than what I've been doing to keep in tent humidity up, so I still like my plan when I leave. Everything looks pretty good still. Maybe starting to flower, I'll throw a pic of that up later tonight. Water and testing out the vacation watering devices later tonight as well.
Day 29 Update: Not much new to say. Everything is running smooth. I've been playing around with ambient humidity and checking the tent. Feels like ambient has far more impact than anything I do inside the tent. I have 3 seedlings growing now too! Two of them sprouted early last week and then other on Saturday so they're about 5 days apart.
Day 30 Update: I'd planned on leaving today, but I think it's going to be early AM tomorrow instead. Main plant got better part of half gallon this morning. A tsp of Grow Big into a half gallon because this is the last of the veg weeks. Just regular water in my receptacles for vacation watering. Tiger Bloom upon return. Lights still at about 18", will move to 24" before I leave. Temp and humidity ok with planning. Pics from this morning didn't turn out well because I took them after watering and spritzing for humidity. I'll get some better shots later today.
Possibly the best thing to happen to this plant is me leaving for a few days so I'll stop fucking with it. I did some defoliation earlier today. Pretty much exclusively fan leaves, but I think I took a little more than I should have. Plus I did that before I read about how that can stress the plant with nutrient burn so I regret putting any nutrients in there earlier today as well. Oh well, learning a lot. Also watched some grow-to-harvest videos today and figured out some things I did right with LST and how to improve next time. Spent some time tonight getting the watering things figured out. Think I got that right too.
Next update will be next week; hopefully all will be in good health.
Day 33 update: I forgot I took a few shots before I rolled out of town, so I just uploaded those. I hope everything’s ok. You can see my watering solution there. It may have massively overwatered everything, couldn’t tell as I put about 2 more liters in the bucket before I left. We’ll see. Should be back to my place on day 38.
Day 37 Update: Heading back home in the AM should have a real update in 24 hours. I’m nervous. The seedlings might not have made it, but my main plant should be alive but stressed. C’est la vie! Photo is top view of tent from about minutes before I left last Tuesday. Excited to see them soon!!
Day 38 Update: Well, shit. SO the seedlings are totally great! They need to all be closer to the light so the ones on the ground stop stretching so early, but they really look great! The one that seems the most stretched had....Wait, wrong diary. My big girl on the other hand, she's been better. This might be my first cannabis plant, but I've gardened off and on since I was young, and I know plants like this recover with a good rain all the time. I think she'll be okay.
The report: the watering system worked really well actually, but because of how large my pots are and that I had all four systems pulling from the same reservoir, I think that 10 liter bucket was dry within 2 days. So the seedlings were able to draw on water through probably today. There was some dried mold/mildew on top of my soil, so I scraped that off into a discard bucket first thing. Two of 4 pots had some of it on top, I'll keep an eye on this situation. The stems and main stalk had plenty of turgidity so really, I'm thinking this deep soak will make such a huge difference. I'm just going to wait to see how it looks tomorrow before I do anything drastic. I put 3 ml of Tiger Bloom in half gallon and waited to let as much of it soak in to the soil. A fair amount ran off so I took the pot out to take pics and tidy the mess.
I wouldn't mind a reassuring word from a seasoned grower that this isn't too far gone :)
Day 39 Update: A little over twelve hours later, the plant was clearly on the way to recovery! I know this will affect final yield a lot, but another 24 hours could have been fatal. I'll probably just leave it alone after today. I took it out to take a number of photos from the same angles so you can really see the recovery. There were a number of fan leaves that were brown and brittle so I trimmed those. The net trimmings are visible in the background; it wasn't much. Think I might need to start my seedling diary soon.
Day 40 Update: Recovery moving along just fine! Haven't done anything other than keep an eye on temp and humidity for the last 24 hours. One of my seedlings definitely has an issue that needs to be addressed. I'm arranging the pictures this week to show the growth of each angle after a period of time -- it should make sense when you click through. Plain water tonight or tomorrow morning.
Day 41 Update: plain water later tonight, but otherwise things feel back on track. Pictures tell the tale better than words at this point.
Day 42 Update: she got about a full Liter of plain water last night. I pruned the yellow fan leaves earlier today and a few that were blocking lower buds. All told about 20 leaves got cut off. Tiger bloom tomorrow. Seedlings are over 2 weeks so I started LST those. I knew my travels would affect the plant, but I think everything is back on track. With the yellow pruned out, it looks really healthy again!
Day 43 Update: At this point, I'd say the recovery from the underwatering while I was out of town is about complete...the before and after is striking! I've pruned all yellow leaves from the plant as well as a number of fan leaves blocking lower bud sites. I won't be doing the series of 5 shots EVERYDAY anymore because those were to highlight aforementioned recovery. 3 or 4 per day seems manageable -- I'm thinking the full plant, main cola, and trained side branch angles will be the ones I take this week
She got a L of water on back to back days. The second water wasn't really necessary but I wanted to get a dose of Tiger Bloom in there. 5 ml/L for now until I get a feel for what it needs. Other than the defoliation and water, all seems well. I had repositioned one of my LEDs and it caused the exhaust fan to separate from the carbon filter, so I fixed that. I also adjusted the air exhaust to be able to more precisely move the lights. Main cola is over 25 inches now and I have no idea if there will be any stretching at this point, but I moved this plant to ground level and the lights to about 12 inches. Pretty much going to leave it alone for now and enjoy watching the bud growth.
So my first and second diaries (second TBA) were Barney's Farm Purple Punch Auto. I'm looking for suggestions on breeders, strains, and seed-banks as I plan my next grow. Thinking 8 plants in 3 gal pots. 7 gal is WAY overkill.
Day 44 Update: There is some clawing happening that my best guess (this is for learning after all) is nitrogen toxicity after the under-watering and defoliating dying leaves. Tested PH of soil and water, both light green suggesting lower 6.x range, but it could be closer to 7 as the soil meter shows 7 but closer to 8 than 6. Going to go with de-chlorinated tap tomorrow night and see how things look Wed/Thurs. I also started organizing my photos of my three other plants to get that diary started soon. Not much else to say at this point. Advice on lower PH would be appreciated.
I tested the soil pH earlier tonight and the NPK just a few minutes ago. The nitrogen indicator was as dark as possible, and I know they sometimes show too much nitrogen, but I believe it this time. No more K. The Fox Farm Big Bloom 0-0.5-0.7 probably a good choice for next feed or just water? I'll decide tomorrow night.
Day 46 Update: Watered with lower pH water and Fox Farm Big Bloom (0-.5-.7) Tuesday morning. Plant received a half gallon (approx 2 L) with 30 ml of Big Bloom. New leaves at the bud sites do not seem to be clawing or showing much if any nutrient burn, yet they are still a bit droopy which I'll keep an eye on as well. I always knew the holiday travel would have a pretty serious effect, but it seems like things are as on track as I can realistically get them. Wednesday night and the soil has a fair bit of moisture, so next water (plain, lower pH water) should be Friday morning or evening. Just a full plant pic and a main cola/clawing shot will be all I put up each day the rest of this week. The recovery pictures from Week 6 were overkill. Not a whole lot to do besides water and monitor at this point. Hopefully she starts filling out soon!
Day 47 Update: I took her out for a picture and felt how light it was so I put the pH/light/moisture meter in the soil. Multiple spots, mostly around the 0-2 range. I watered more than I normally do; about 3/4s of a gallon.
Day 48 Update: it’s entirely plausible that I have been chronically under watering. Yesterday’s watering feels like it’s almost gone! The moisture meter read 3 or 4 in several spots and 6-7 in a couple. (10 is highest moisture level). So maybe water again tomorrow? Otherwise, I moved some plants locations around. Tent picture mostly shows placement. Weirdly warm weather means exhaust is running full time. The suction caused by the negative seal seems to be constricting growth. Any inexpensive remedies?
Day 49 Update: So I opened the tent before I went to sleep last night and all the drooping seemed to be dissipated! I thought, "Holy fuck! That looks like a legit cannabis plant again!" So todays picture shows off the straightened sugar leaves and some filled out foliage. Pretty happy! Fresh water today; dechlorinated tap only.
Theories: 1. pH creep stabilized. 2. Air flow/CO2 issues...I moved the plants order around last night and turned up the exhaust booster near a lower vent. 3. Nitrogen toxicity returning to less poisonous levels. All three have me a bit more cautious with my second grow.
Day 50 Update: Looking great, feels back on track! Definitely a few more weeks to go, but really about the healthiest the plant has seemed to me since before vacation. Monitor and water for now. Going to check some growing guides to see what I might need to do over the last few weeks. I'll check back in most days this week with a whole plant and main cola shot. Otherwise, not much to do but watch and enjoy!
Day 51 Update: Pics added, probably just dechlorinated tap tomorrow. Might get one more dose of Big Bloom, but otherwise, I think my soil might be hot enough to just go with mostly just water the rest of the way. There's a few lingering yellow leaves of little concern but still feels as healthy as it has been overall.
Day 52 Update: Water tonight with a small dose of Big Bloom (0-.5-.7), half of recommendation so 20 ml in 1 Gal. Video shows some yellowing on lower leaves, feels too early in flowering, but I don't know. Still seems healthy otherwise.
Day 53 Update: Left the light off while I was at work, so lost a few hours of light. Maybe a good thing because it was hot today and the tent was 78 degrees with the lights off. Anyway, things under control now. Yellowing didn't seem to get any worse so I think maybe Tiger Bloom Friday and only once more after that, something like days 55 & 61, then just water until harvest. My guesstimate is around Groundhog Day (day 71), but I've been reading about when to harvest, so I'll let the plant tell me when it's ready.
Day 54 Update: Yellowing spread a bit too much for my liking at the stage its at because I know the under-watering set its schedule back a bit. The other plants got their first Tiger Bloom tonight and while this plant didn't need water, it got a little bit of that as well. Not much, .5 L maybe. Next water is up in the air because of that now. Some really nice reds/purples are starting to show at the bud sites! I went through all my pictures of this plant earlier tonight. My LST was pretty sorry on this, so I kind of really did just let this plant grow as it does. My other grow is still benefiting so learning is happening.
Day 55 Update: Just a couple new pictures. Water Sunday probably on Day 57. Not much else to say.
Day 56 Update: I will check if she needs water later tonight. The yellowing continues to spread, but a couple are going yellow to a red-purple hue so might be somewhat normal. Looking to other PPA diaries to see what weeks 8-10 might entail.
Day 57 Update: Plants got water yesterday with tiger bloom. First few orange pistils noticed last night, not very many yet. Yellowing is predominately in the fan leaves so maybe that is normal? Things are about to get crowded in the tent as the other three plants are starting to get big.
Day 58 Update: I read up on cal-mag deficiencies. As it's my first grow, I can't know for sure how heavy/light-handed I've been with nutrients, but it feels like I've erred on the side of less is more. The "bar graph" thing is not accurate for what I've done feeding-wise. Either way, I can't image there's any actual deficiency but more likely a pH issue causing problems with magnesium uptake. I'm not too sure how accurate the 3-in-1 pH/Light/Moisture meter is, but the pH reads close to 8 in every insertion location. I'm going to order pH down, but was reading about lemon juice as a SHORT TERM fix to lower pH.
Two significant issues were inevitable with this grow: 1) traveling and leaving it unattended for a week & 2) using soil that other plants were grown in. Knowing how much these two issues caused me, my future grows will honestly be way better for it. Notably how to handle extended time away as well as consistently testing pH/soil. Depending on how serious I get with this, I'd invest in more precise measurement tools, but not yet. Obviously I want big yields, but I wasn't expecting to get pounds, so I'm okay with learning how issues affect yield. My other grow is actually a really interesting study in how different stresses affect plants, but I digress. Point is, I know there are problems, I'm trying to learn to fix them, but if things go totally pear shaped, I'm not going to be too disappointed.
Day 59 Update: Working on lowering the pH that feels more like the cause of deficiencies than underfeeding. In another diary I read, the grower used lemon juice in dechlorinated tap consistently in each feeding without nutrients to control pH. That's my plan until Monday when the GH ph Up/Down will be delivered. One of my plants in my other grow has pretty obvious signs of necrosis on some leaves, but it doesn't seem to be spreading. I'm pretty sure I've had wonky pH levels since I went out of town and I never got those fixed so now I'm dealing with it. Having never grown any cannabis before, but also expecting some purple in the plant, the purple/reddish hues some of the leaves initially developed seemed more normal than I should have realized. Trial by fire!!
Day 60 Update: So, thinking it was a pH issue causing uptake irregularities. Many of the yellow/reddish leaves have the FEEL of a healthier leaf even if they’re still discolored. Many fan leaves fell off with minor contact/pulling. I used lemon juice last night to flush with water in the 6.0 pH range and health may be returning. I’m not going to say it’s fixed, but the damage is hopefully contained for the time being. Pics and video show damages pretty well. Knowing it may creep back up, I'll keep feeding with closer to 6.0 pH water until pH Up/Down arrives and I can re-flush for the last week or two.
Day 61 Update: Nothing new to report. Feels healthier than a few days ago still, but the countermeasures deployed seem to be holding for now. Buds seem to be filling out, I’m content for the night.
Day 62 Update: Water and nutrients, maybe for the last time, tonight. New soil pH meter from Home Depot is hopefully more accurate. All water was pH'd to around 6 as the soil meter showed slightly alkaline still. I'm doing the best I can to keep this under control for another week, two at the most. I also got some soil acidifier amendments for the other plants because the readings were slightly alkaline for those pots.
Day 63 Update: Got a set of mobile camera lenses to take macro photos of the trichomes. Its a work in progress. Otherwise, things seem okay today. Gonna press on keeping an eye on pH, but whatever shall be, shall be.
Starts off with some euphoria and giggles and moves into a pretty nice body stone. I wish I’d given it a few more days for some more sedative effects. The plant grows pretty well without too much fuss. I had some issues with underwatering due to travel and possibly cal-mag issues due to soil and water pH. Overall, an excellent first choice to grow. Have two more plants hanging and a third has about a week before chop. Last bit, I had a much stronger cloves/peppery flavor that mellowed over a couple weeks in jars with 62% RH packs. Now it tastes of what my brain registers as classic cannabis smells/flavors. Pre-roll joints are my favorite for enjoying the flavor. Bubbler to get blazed.
*** 4/3/20 Edit *** If you're checking out this harvest, check out my Third Go updated today; second grow fully harvested - update and republish soon! ***
It’s a lot of fun learning cannabis cultivation. I don’t really have too much to add. I think I chopped a few days early, but nothing crazy. Probably left way to much stem on the plants as I hung them because after 9 days they weren’t as dry as I’dexpected. There was maybe a faint aroma of ammonia after the first 12 hours in jars, so they spent the next twelve hours with a small box fan near them to finish drying. I’ve been basically only getting high in my own supply for the better part of two weeks. I’m saving money and getting good and high! The one caveat I’ll throw out here is that the vast majority of my consumption has been edibles and vape carts. I didn’t get into cannabis until my 30’s and I don’t really know all that much about smoking and herb quality. I do however know that my tolerance is on the higher side and Purple Punch Auto by Barney’s Farm has no problem lifting me up through the tolerance.
She will bounce back, i was 24 hours later home this grow aswell, mine looked even worse, bouced back in like 3-4 hours, but damadge done and big. Check soil ph after such dessert times.
Good luck !
@AsNoriu, appreciate the kind words. I just ordered a soil ph meter, so I’ll keep an eye on that. New pictures show 12 hours recovery! I pruned the deadest of the dying leaves.
She is still unhappy check ph of soil or runoff and dont water till its time, pot have to dry out and then repeate watering.
I am the man who tells everybody that bigger pot is always better, i had so many bad expierience with small pots, that i will never go that path again.
I even noticed that if you ad up extra soil to pot at around week 4 of flower they boom even more. At that time my pots ussualy set down and i have couple more liters of space avaliable, so i top up always.
Good luck !
@AsNoriu, I think I overwatered in the recovery attempt so I'll wait to water at the right time next. The soil PH meter shows maybe in the 7 range so I'm going to investigate lowering PH and will try that next water. Tuesday or wednesday night so check back next weekend? Appreciate you coming back to check up on my plant :)
Great grow man , For me this strain either seemed incredibly sensitive to bloom fertilisers ie or locked out for it - that the leaves have given me purplish blotches redish tips and veins on the leaves confused as to whether mine is an over feed , under due to a lock out of P K or it’s the cold , leaves looking exactly like yours on the main top cola
A PH of 6.0-7.0 for soil is perfect, but if find your water to high of a ph I'd recommend advanced nutrients PH Down. Careful though its potent stuff. In 8l of water 1ml of that stuff will drop my ph down a full point.
