This is my very first attempt at photoperiod plants and I'm pretty excited. I tried something different this time and popping the seeds directly in the soil. Only 2 of the 3 seeds popped sadly. Otherwise they have been doing well.
Good week. Growth felt a little slow but I was really struggling to keep temps up in that room due to weather. Found a solution so expecting better growth next week and may even start using the nutes
Growth is going well. Plants are happy. Gave both gals a topping this week. Gave them their first real feeding this week as well.these ladies are gonna have to be begged. out for a while as my tent is jam packed with autos that need to finish and probably won't be done for another 4-5 weeks
Good week. Plants are getting quite tall. Won't be going into flower for at least another 3 weeks. I moved them back to the regular veg cabinet this week as well as I fixed the issue of it being cold in there.
Well these gals were starting to get rootbound and really needed to be transplanted. I transplanted twelve hours ago and sprayed the leaves down with a light foliar spray and the plants couldn't look happier in their new 5 gallon fabric pots. Growth really seemed to slow down because of being rootbound.
So I think I'm gonna throw these ladies in the flower tent early next week. Might do a light defoliation of some of the big fan leaves.these ladies are getting tall, even after topping three times each, hopefully they don't stretch too much in flower
Did a light defoliation at the end of last week. Now these ladies have been moved into the flowering tent as of two days ago and switched to 12/12 lighting. Will feed veg nutes for another week, maybe two. Fingers crossed, I'm excited to see these gals flower!
Explosive growth this week. Plant is getting bushy and tall. My light is now higher than its ever been, considering I've only ever grown autoflowers before. I also had to defoliate today cuz these gals needed to breath better. I'm also seeing the beginning of pre flower and I'm stoked on that. First photo grow is exciting!
I was a bit stressed and distracted this week and barely paid attention to these plants but went to look at these gals yesterday and they are doing wonderfully. Feeding bloom nutes now. They are now so tall I gotta bend their tips now so they aren't too close to the light
Great growth. Honestly I've only ever grown auto before this and I'm loving g growing photo. So much more control. I just need to learn how to control height better in the future haha.
Well some sad news. I had to chop these plants down this morning about 9-10 days early. Breaks my heart but I am moving quickly and couldn't leave these gals behind. I also have to dry them quicker than normal. The quality won't be as good overall but still hoping for something half decent. Will update with dried cured info in a couple weeks. Probably won't take weights though!
So this is bittersweet. This was my first photoperiod grow ever and it went shockingly well. Grown indoors. No pest issues. My only issues were heating the tent to the correct temps in my cold shed. Unfortunately I had to cut the plants down about a week or so early, so the plants aren't at their full potential nor did the buds get to swell as much as they could have. Overall though I find this to be a very chill nice relaxing indica that's power sneaks up on you a bit. Smells earthy like dirt with a hint of sweetness and it has a really nice fruity taste.
I loved growing this strain. No real issues. Just sad to cut it down over a week early. Very proud of my first photo grow. I only really took the topped buds and branches and left all the lower stuff as I was in a rush. Due to this I decided not to include weights as it's not a true representation!
