This little lady popped super fast. I germed her in a paper towel for 2 days, planted her in the soil, and within the following 24 hours she was out and about :).
Got her a nice little vented humidity dome, idk if it will help much, but it's more of a test anyways.
Just a little side-note; I got a new 3x3x6 tent that I will be pitching within the next week or two, so I'm sure the space upgrade will do her, and the rest of my girls, nicely. I can finally step out of the realm of microgrowery ladies and gents!... But really though, even with the upgrade it will still be micro compared to a lot of your guys' setups.
Cheers all and one love! 🙌 Also a merry Christmas and Happy New Year as well 💙💜💚
Off to a great start with this girl! Her true leaves are super indica, robustly round. Excited to see her at peak veg! Going to be feeding her bottled water with an 1/8th of 1/3rd strength recommended nutrient dosage added, according to the Fox Farm soil feeding schedule. i consider this week 2 veg as i started nutes last week.
I prepare the nutes very simply. I grab a bottle of water, pop it open. Grab my pipette and nutes to be used. Then i simply fill the bottle with the nutes. Shake it up with the cap on. Every other watering i add calmag plus on account of diminished mineral contents from reused soil. Very easy :P. Then i pop some holes on top of the cap of the bottle and pour it over the soil.
I don't know why i felt it necessary to share that procedure. May come in handy to somebody else, ya never know ;P
Anyways, I'm really excited for what's to come with this plant. I can tell @Fastbuds ain't messing around with their genetics!
Light fell on her last week but she's doing fine! She got snapped in half and recovered seemingly within the day .-. No wilting or anything.
Light feedings and 2 mistings a day :)
She's a strong one, super excited for flower :0
Monday edit: I decided to do a heavy defol. As she approaches flower. The pictures uploaded are before i did that. :)
She's recovered from dropping the light on her. Now i can see the damage it really caused. Seems to have ripped up her foliage toward the top, but thats not to say we have a sad plant on our hands. After defoliating her last week, her energy has been directed upward. With her apical meristem shooting out pistils and her secondary shoots now reaching up to form a canopy.
No deficiencies or toxicities thus far. Just green, happy growth :).
Cheers everybody - Fastbuds is on it with their genetic game. Excited to try this year's catalogue!!
Loving her. Not much to say other than that she's performing splendidly.
Ive been keeping her soil saturated as it generally loses it's moisture in 18 hours due to the, "fabric" pots. At this point i've been feeding her at half the recommend strength. No burnt tips just happy green growth. Added in blackstrap molasses cuz the stuff is amazing.
Forgot last week's update thanks to a stomach bug x.x. I'll try and be more consistent, but my immune system has not been enjoying the latter end of this season.. Molasses this week and a big bloom dosage coming thursday/friday. Full flower will commence at the end of this week or beginning of the next, based on her current appearance.
@Easygrower, Thanks Easy! You'll find her to be a cakewalk of a grow. She's ahead of my Purple Lemonade despite being 5 days younger! And yes, I'm feeling much, much better. Been having a lot of sickness in my family as of late - seasonal I think. Either way, I'm feeling good enough to hit the gym. So I'd say that's a success in the health department haha. Appreciate the support, btw. I'll be there 100% for your zkittlez - I love the look of the phenos she produces. Truly a 'dope' plant 👏
You're plants look like thier doing really well, I'm also doing a Mephisto genetics strain - Auto S.O.D.K . I've defoliated it and it's doing pretty well tbf. Its pre flowering/ pre flower stretching. Happy growing
