Here we are for Grow# 9 and I'm even more excited than before, because we've been given the strain info!!! For those of you who are checking out my diaries for the first time and might be wondering what I'm so excited about, well, I've been given the opportunity to test out FastBuds New Original Auto line before being released sometime next year. For this diary, I decided to go with there Original Auto Skunk, which is an indica hybrid that will be ready to harvest in just 8 weeks ... Now before I get started with the germination process down below will be a list of the equipment I'll be using :
Hydro Planet 2x4x5 Grow Tent
3-Gallon Plastic Pot
Happy Frog Soil
Vivosun 300 watt Full Spectrum Grow Light
Vivosun 4" inch Exhaust Fan
Vivosun Carbon Filter
Vicks Cool Mist Humidifier
2 Desk Fans
Acurite Hygrometer
For germination, we went with the basic soaking in ph balanced water for 48 hours and then it was off to the paper towel method before being placed in its final pot. After coming out of the glass and being placed in the paper towel it only took about 24 hours for the seed to get a tap root that was 1 cm long, it then went into a 3-gallon pot with Happy Frog, I made sure not to bury the seed too deep so I went with placing it about 1.5 cm deep. After I took a spray bottle and gave it a good misting to make sure that soil was moist enough for the seed to survive., and sure enough 3 days later, we had life !!! Since seedlings don't require too much of anything at this stage, I just made sure that I misted about twice a day until day 4. On Day 4 the seedling was given 250 ml of pure water with a ph of 6.1 this process was repeated again on Day 7. Overall it was a very easy week our seedling is growing just as it should be it's even working on its third node. I've been able to keep the grow environment stable with no issue's so I guess I can say that I'm off to a great start. Until next week fellow growers and remember, "Happy Growing" and "Free your mind one puff at a time".
Here I am at the end of week two for the original auto skunk and it's been easier than ever. At the end of week one, I gave the plant her first watering and basically left her alone until this week on day thirteen where she was given her first feeding, in which she responded very well too, she's even grown two inches over the last seven days. With everything going so well I decided to take the lights from 36" inches to 18" inches and she is loving it. This plant has basically taken care of itself which has been so wonderful since I've been super busy this holiday. Well, that's all that I got for you guy's this week so until next time fellow growers and remember ...."Happy Growing" and "Free your mind one puff at a time".
Another week down as we end week 3 for the Original Auto Skunk and I couldn't be happier with her. She's looking beautiful and very easy to care for, all I had to do this week for her was give her water, which she received 250ml of pure water on Days 15 and 19. I decided not to give any nutrients to any of my plants this week due to my Original Auto Russian having too much nitrogen so I gave the plants a break from the nutes.
Now it's time for my favorite part of my diary... "S/O TIME"!!! We've reached the end of week 4 for the original auto skunk. and this lady is bushier than ever. Over the last seven days, she's grown about 3" inches she's now 8.5" inches tall and vegging it out. On Day 22 she was given 250 ml of pure water with a ph of 6.3, then on Day 26 was given 500 ml of water that included 2 ml of Cal-Mag, 2 ml of Micro, and 4 ml of Bloom with the water having a ph of 6.3. With her being so bushy I did remove a few leaves to give the bottom half of the plant more light, this was done on Day 26.

Very easy Week 5 for the Original Auto Skunk. This lady was so bushy I had no choice but to defoliate her. On Day 31 I gave her plain watering with a ph of 6.3, then on Day 34, she was giving a feeding ( 3ml of Cal-Mag, 3ml Micro, 6ml Bloom). She's also showing that she's in pre-flower and is beginning to stretch like crazy, she's now 13" inches tall and still going.
Well, that's going to be all for this week guys, so until next time fellow growers and remember ..."Happy Growing" and "Free your mind one puff at a time".
Long week with this lady. Been having heat issues and she is one of two plants I'm growing that does not like the instant change. So I opened the bottom intake vents to help with airflow but she's still growing like crazy, she's basically a bush. Lol.

This lady has a full recovery from heat stress that was causing issues last week. Growth has been steady and right on time in my opinion. She was so bushy I had to do some defoliation just to get better airflow to her and she responded very well. She also is now getting a liter of water each watering/feeding, she seemed to be getting dry way too fast.

This lady has been taking her sweet time kicking completely into flower, she looked as if she was going to begin bud development then it seem to stop. I'm sure she'll be fine though, I did end up doing some more defoliation due to her looking like a jungle, this has been one of the bushiest plants I ever saw or grown before.

I swear this plant has a mind of it's own. Lol. It started showing pre flowers and hasn't done much flowering since but she is still beautiful and healthy so I'm not worried at all plus I've an auto do this before and I just put her under a 12/12 and she started flowering correctly just happens sometimes. Like always she got a feeding and a watering this week along with some defoliation at the bottom of the plant because she keeps turning into a bush. Lol.
Well guys that's going to be all for this update until next time and remember "Happy Growing and Free your mind one puff at a time".
This lady just does not want to finish up. She just keeps growing and growing, so I ended up doing some more defoliation to help push growth to the top half of the plant, but I'm pretty sure I'm going to have to switch the lights to 12/12 to get her to really start flowering. Other than that she's gorgeous and big, I can't complain.

Week 11 has ended and this plant is still not wanting to flip into flower she is now 25" inches tall and still hasn't really reached the stretch since she won't flower, so she may end up being over 3 feet tall. Other than that she is one of the biggest, prettiest auto's I've ever grown. My plan is to let the Sour Diesel and White Widow that's in the tent get a little bigger then switch the light cycle to 12/12 so she can go ahead and finish up. I also want to say thank you to @Fast_Buds for the merchandise package that was sent to me now I can represent my favorite breeder by rocking their gear.

This monster is by far the biggest autoflower I've ever grown and she's still going, so I did go ahead and switch the lights to 12/12 to help her kick into flower. At this point, I'm excited yet worried, excited because she's going to give off a crazy yield and worried because I hope she doesn't get any bigger I'm running out of room in the tent. I did go ahead and do another defoliation and cleared out the bottom half of the plant to help with airflow since she grows like a bush. Hopefully, she starts showing some flowers soon.

I finally got this giant beast to start flowering. Now that she's flipping over to flower she's showing beginning signs of some type of deficiency, not too worried about it but I'll keep an eye on it.

Here we are for another update on the Original Auto Skunk that's still growing like crazy. She grew another 3" inches this week bringing her height to 30.5" inches tall. I also figured out what the possible deficiency was also, it turned out that she doesn't like the temperature over 80°F and she was also needing more nutrients since she flipped to flower. I also had to do another defoliation, it's like she just wants to stay bushy. Lol. Other than that she's doing well and constantly growing !!!!

Good Day Growers, Mr_Weeds_Autos here for another update on the Original Auto Skunk from FastBuds. Since the last update, she's grown another inch and a half bringing her total height to a little over 2.5 feet, and I think she may still be growing. She also started showing a small amount of trichome production. The heat has still been higher than what I like but she seems to be doing fine and still growing.

Another week in the books for this Original Auto Skunk. She's slowing finishing up showing more and more trichome production daily, along with those beautiful autumn colors. She's stopped stretching completely at this point and is focusing on adding more mass to her flower sites.

Not a whole lot to report this week, the Original Auto Skunk has just added more and more mass to her buds and is showing more trichomes daily. It looks like she should be finishing with the next three weeks.

This lady seem to want to veg forever but after a little bit of help, she went ahead and went into flower and did her thing. I had no issues at all while growing her. After cutting her down and doing a sloppy trim job, It took her 9 days to dry before going into jars. I ended up with 86.2 grams which isn't too bad for an autoflower. The buds actually look deceiving, they look like they are very airy but actually have some density to them, very sticky and the smell is to die for. I would definitely grow this strain again!
I would like to say thank you to FastBuds again, you guys really outdid yourself with the genetics for the Original Line.
