Powerplant in RDWC system start 06/11/17

Mr_fluffy So new system. Never done RDWC before. I let the 21 day old clones set for two days before switching to 12/12. Flowering started today 06/11/17 Want to grow them so its like a SOG/SCROG Planning to super crop as fast as they are 15-20 cm and let them become 30-40cm before i put on the scrog. Not going to be easy beacuse these girls can become BIG. Started with 12 girls. Might have to remove some of them if they get too big. Also have to give them 10weeks, not 9 like last grow. So excited😀😀😀 Let the grow begin Super cropped 09/11/ at 15-20cm heigt

Mr_fluffy They grow like crazy. Roots whent from no roots out of the net pot to the roots seen on pic. Really fast growth. I have the water 1-2 inches from the bottom of the netcup. Must say i think the roots thats submerged looks better than the once hanging in the air. They are all god but the ones in the water is as white as it gets. The plants seeme to respond well when being pinched(supercropped). They become bushy👍🏻 I pinched today as well. Ec 1.8 Screen put on 15/11 at 26 cm height Water change 18/11

Mr_fluffy Start of Week 3🙌🙌Looks good for now. Im still keeping them under the screen. Im using flowering nuts and should acording to canna be feeding them with veg nuts. After the roots have become long enough Ive lowered the water in the system so the waterline is 2 inches below the net pots. The roots are a bit coloured. A hint of brown. Not sure why beacuse the temp in water are stable at 19 Celsius, the pump for the bubbles(6000l/h are overkill and the undercurrent pump is also huge(4000l/h. Its occurring just on the roots that’s hanging in the air. The roots in the water is white. Nut coloring? 🤔 EC 1.8

Mr_fluffy Last week I’ve been training the bitches a lot. In keeping them more under the screen then usual. I’m almost braiding them into the screen and it seems to be working god. Things done this week: Lower branches removed at day 22. Water change day 01/12 EC 2.0

Mr_fluffy Anorher Week😀 so the training looks god💪 Lot of work, hope it pays of. Think the canopy is the most even I’ve grown before. Everything is at the same height. Even small popcorn sites gets light. It’s winter here so the air is very dry. Flower developing nice. Eating and drinking god. Total EC is 2.0

Mr_fluffy Another week peeps😀 thanks to everyone who’s following my grow. It’s so cool to have people giving comments and liking the posts😁 Not to mutch happening this week. I’m running this system with auto water top off, and this week the EC has been stable at 2.0 the whole week. This tells me that I’ve got to go a little down on the nuts. I’m going down to 1.9 to see if something will happen. Other than that the plant started smelling pretty intensely the last few days. I’ve changed the water 11/12. Ec in start of week 1.9

Mr_fluffy The buds keeps on growing in height. Haven’t trained them at all. Sad news. Looks like my mother plant cought a draugth😔 don’t think I can save her😑 The interesting thing about this grow, is that instead of stop training the plants under the scrog after 2-3 weeks and then letting them grow to become tall buds, I don’t stop until I see that the actual bud is slowing down in Height growing. I don’t let them grow tall at all. I’m actually beading them inside the screen so that all the beaches is totally horizontal. I think that big tall cola buds dont necessarily yield max. They are consistent of lots of small buds and the lower part of the cola bud don’t get ripe at the same time as the top of the bud.. So when you keep them down longer, al the smal buds inside the big buds becomes their own buds. I believe they become more evenly ripe then usual (Yep Crasy sentence I know

Mr_fluffy Bud developent looks god, looks like buds are slowly stopping in height growth. They have eaten god at Ec of 2.0. Started to take tric pics, mostly clear. Started with PK boost today 26/12/17 Changed water 26/12/17 Starting EC this week is 2.1.

Mr_fluffy So thats it for this grow folks. Thanks to everyone who followed me😀✌️I chopped the lady’s 11/01/18 day 67 of flowering. It was a very easy round with minimum maintenance and care thanks to the bucket system. Mutch easier than the aeroflo. Had zero problems. The actual grow also whent nice with no problems. It’s absolutely clear that the right training gives good results. The quality of the harvest is better than usual. A lot of golfball sized buds instead of a few big colas with lots of undeveloped bud. The weight difference between the wet bud vs dry bud is smaller this time compared to earlier. I think this is because the buds are more dense than before. Giving them 10 instead of 9 weeks was a good thing, more retraction of pistils, More structure on the bud and more amber tricoms. letting them have no veg nutes the first 2 weeks of flowering made them smaller than usual, did this to control the plants more. Think this made them yield less than anticipated. Next time more veg time veg nutes fewer plants. They could from tricoms color maby have gone 1 more week. The interesting thing about this harvest is that it shows that the two grows where I used veg nutes the first two weeks, gave almost identical yields🤔. But the quality from this grow was better. More dense buds less fluff and popcorns. So there you have it, happy growing guys 😀😬🙌
