Not out of the blocks quite as fast as the Gelato, but plenty fast enough. She broke ground about 24 hours behind the Gelato. I'm no longer convinced that the light I use initially with my humidity dome is all that productive so I'm trying to transition my plants to LED a bit quicker with this batch.

I let the Blackberry and Mexican Airlines go another day in the small container to make sure they didn't fall apart when transplanting to the next container. Worked OK. Now everybody is in a 1 quart container which will hold them fine for a couple weeks and allow the roots to fill a smaller space.

The Blackberry is definitely growing the fastest of the 3 in my current crop. She has a more distinct yellowish color too, compared to her sisters. January 6 > Clearly outgrowing her sisters.

This baby is definitely leading the growth parade here. Easily. Mex Airlines and Gelato are a deeper green color which is more of what I expect to see under my LEDs. I will probably repot this girl in a day or two as I'm pretty sure the roots have already found the perimeter of this cage. Next pot will be 5 gallons fabric - final container. January 11 > Repotted everybody into their final 5 gallon containers today near the end of the light cycle. Oddly enough the largest plant seemed to be the LEAST root-bound of the three I repotted from the same size pot. Not sure what the lesson is there. I was actually somewhat shocked to detect the start of some flowering in the top node of this baby after I repotted everybody today and was cleaning up. Won't have a chance to take any more photos util maybe tomorrow evening because we're in the dark cycle now and I'm bugging out for a long-awaited Los Lobos show tonight at the Fillmore in SF... then golf early in the morning back into the next dark cycle. I'll add some more pice in a couple days... but I'm guessing we'll have to call next week a flowering week. These autoflowers seem to do whatever they want.

She practically doubled in height last week and then started flowering... so I suppose it's off to the races. I'm gonna call the other 2 Fastbuds I have vegging as opposed to flowering for one more week but plenty of pre-flowers are there on those. Still been giving her doses of veg nutrients rather than flowering just yet.

This girl hasn't necessarily slowed down, it's just that her neighbors have exploded to catch up with her in the vertical growth department. I have transitioned to flowering nutrients with this girl alone and she seems to be a bit greener this week as opposed to the amount of yellow color showing up in the leaves previously.

This girl is starting to get serious about flowering. She's put on the brakes in vertical growth. She has definitely turned a much deeper shade of green in the last week. Perhaps it's the switchover to flowering nutrients.

A little purple is starting to creep into the color scheme on this baby. Starting to fatten up. I trimmed a few of the larger fan leaves from the lower structure to cut down on their shading, but overall very little trimming.

This girl is starting to take on a nice purple hue.... and who doesn't like purple? Finally took some shots with my new fake velvet background, need to get better lighting set up.

Starting to get a bit fatter, the leaves on this Blackberry have always had a more waxy look than the other FastBuds I'm growing at present, and a darker shade of green to go along with it. I'll do a trichome inspection later this evening but we're probably within a week of flushing. February 24 > Flushed this plant and the Gelato

I suspect we're probably within a week of harvest. Not much happening and she doesn't seem to be drinking much at this point. Haven't detected any amber in the trichomes but I don't think I'm going to wait much longer here.

Happy Harvest Day!

While she started fast this baby ended up on the small side so I want to give this strain another go this spring with an outdoor version and see how that compares. Very easy to grow, but I may try a different brand of nutrients on the next pass also because I have some things to test.

This girl started out growing fastest but slowed down the quickest of the 3 FastBuds in this crop. The leaves were also a darker and almost shiny color of green. I gave this girl an extra large dark cycle just before harvest, but other than that she was on 18 hours her entire life.
