@Lilman, I’m no expert by any means so any advice is from my limited experience. I’ve topped a couple of my autos with success. I had a Auto OG Kush plant that’s suggested height was higher than my box could handle so I topped her and had success. It’s pretty risky with Autos because you can’t control the veg part or any part for that matter (they have a mind of there own!?!?!?! 👀👻 ooooo creepy haha) so if you do it wrong it could be dentirmental to your plant and yeild. I’ve seen a couple start to flower after they were topped which isn’t good. At the same time some strains respond beautifully to topping so it’s preference and what your comfortable with. Personally if your growing FastBuds I wouldnt top her. There genetics are off the charts. There are also other ways to limit your girls height. For instance throwing a trellis net up or scrOG net (google scrOG net cannabis and click images). There are tons of methods to keep her shorter with out topping her. So I would say it depends on your circumstances. What’s your reasoning for it? Small grow box?

@TeflonDonFarms,me to ,with my 180 watt panel,today are the best LED s from Cree or Osram,the LED panels getting better and better 😚

@Sineus, Thanks big dawg I appreciate that! I chose LEDs to keep my electric bill down. Yea hopefully they can keep improving them and close the gap! No complaints so far! Your right a lot of people are using LEDs.

@drzoidberg, Me too! I’m actually at a loss for words for how fruity she smells. Idk if I want her to smell of pineapples so bad that I think I’m getting that smell but def a pineapple odor coming off!

How do you like growing this autoflower from FastBuds? I've been wanting to trying this strain from FastBuds for a while because of the nostalgia from college with the movie.

@ChewVodka85, This is my first Grow with FastBuds and so far it’s been pretty awesome! I highly recommend it for the nostalgia and because it gives off a serious citrus pine smell that you would slobber over! Super healthy from veg to flower. Took nutrients like a champ. It’s a solid choice!

@Fergie, If there’s a will there’s a way! I feel like growers are very crafty people when it comes to improvising their grow and equipment.

@TeflonDonFarms,well to be honest Spain isn't too bad weather wise winter but defo easier in winter than summer , had friends loose whole crops cause of sudden heat waves 😥 but I'm advancing my fan set up downgrading my tent and going attempt next summer inside 😀 bio bizz nutrients are really doing wonders for me 😉

@Lilman, Yes, very risky. I’m sure you would time it right. But you have superior genetics in Fastbuds so I think the colas will be plentiful. I wouldn’t top her. Your right though you gotta take a chance and go for all of the biscuits😂😂!!! Thank god you didn’t throw up that net that would have sucked. I’ve only grown autos and I’ve found the bigger the pot, the more the soil, the happier the roots, the bigger the plant and the bigger the harvest. Although a ton of people produce from small pots so again this is what I’ve gained from autos! That’s a great call with the fabric pots. I’ve run some plastic pots right next to them and there’s no comparison the smart pot is way better in my opinion! 21l is close to 5 gallons right? If so your money big dawg! Should be plenty of dense as F*** colas! I’m excited to see it when you get on the FastBuds genetics!

@TeflonDonFarms, man every bit of advice counts aye thanks😁, and yeah from doing bit of research seem pretty risky if you don't time it right. But saying that gotta risk it for the biscuit Haha. I'm thinking I might give the scrog a go because I've never done scrog, I was going to scrog those plant you've just seen but didn't think it'd fill it, aswell as I had a regular seed in there and didn't want it to turn male and have to pull it all down (which it did turn male haha so lucky). I'm running a 1.2m2 by 2m high so it's not to bad, was just thinking of trying to make as many colas as I can. I'm going to be running couple in 20l air pots and couple in 15l plastic pots but thinking of buying couple more air pots since I've had really good success with the one I have in it atm.

Big ups on the harvest, I can't wait to see how the buds treat you after curing. What's next on your grow list? Also, would you recommend this strain as far as easy growing and bud production? Thanks bro

@@Colorado, For sure! My thoughts exactly I love that fuckin movie. Definitely gonna toke up and watch it!!!! A lot of the strains FastBuds offer give off unique colors. But some of them steal the show like LSD-25. Do yourself a favor and check out their website. I believe week 5 or 6 you start noticing a change in color. I like to surf FastBuds harvests on GrowDiaries and see what I’m getting into! I didn’t look close enough into the diaries to see if they changed their temps. I’m leaning towards no they didn’t.

@TeflonDonFarms, Thanks man! I've tried the Green Crack and GSC from Fastbuds, but I had always wanted to try Pineapple Express because of the movie lol. I felt the strain might help me relive my college moments, plus it'd be dope to smoke that and just watch the movie truthfully. I hear LSD is up there on the THC scale, I'm not sure about the BlackCherry I haven't seen that one yet. Also, what do you mean color changing LSD strain? Does it turn purple during color temps at flowering?

@@@@Colorado, thanks I appreciate that! I highly recommend this strain. It’s definitely a high yielder with the right treatment. The smell is unbelievable it really is mouth watering. She took everything like a champ and was forgiving of me over feeding her(rookie mistake). That was my first fastbud grow. Im going to stick within there line of strains and grow them out. I want to do a color changing bud next like LSD-25 or Blackcherry. Not sure yet. I built my box so I was thinking about tearing some of it down and making more room so the space heater doesn’t tear up buds. Not sure yet. Gonna make that decision after New Years.

Hey man, What LEDS are you running here? Currently growing in 5Gallon Fabric Pots myself and they pretty bigger than i expected lol. Looking forward to your results with the 7Gallon. 😵

@SadBoyDabs710, I’ll remove some leaves to open her up a little. Any other leaves were trashed from the little space heater I have in the box. I’m contending with freezing temps so I’m happy with anything! I’ll look into the lights maybe if I decide to upgrade you could help me out!!

@TeflonDonFarms, You should do some research in COB LEDS ;) Regarding snipping the lower leaves, guess you have had good results so far? I thought they don't recommended cutting/stressing out Autoflowers

@SadBoyDabs710, One 250 watt LED and one 300 watt LED. 7 gallon has been an adventure. She is pretty big. There are a ton of things I would have done differently but that’s the name of the game. I definitely killed her with nutrients. Next go around I’ll def pipe down the nutrients. I also should have snipped a ton of those lower buds earlier in flowering. I would have much rather had the weight up top.

@SadBoyDabs710, My box is exposed to the outdoor elements a little bit more than I’d like so the RH is so low because the cold weather is getting pretty bad. Thanks for the love big dawg! Your set up is pretty vicious! You have a lot of room for those stubby girls! I’m jealous I wish I had that space.

This is a KILLER looking grow. I see some experience shining through here. Nice job! I am attempting my first "topless" SCROG (trying to bend instead) with 6 different strains right now, of which one strain is FastBuds Pineapple Express. It would be cool if you would follow along and make a suggestion or two. - Zannabis7

@Lilman, 5 gallon is perfect! I bumped up to a 7 just to see what the difference is between them. To big for my taste just because I have limited space. What strains ya gonna run instead of FastBuds? You should at least throw one Fastbud bean in and compare the growth to the others. You won’t regret it!
