1st organic garden

Alright, thank you all for joing me for my first organic grow. This grow my strains are going to be Melato, Alasken Thunder Fuck, Ghost OG and, Hyer Up. I'm starting them all off in a simple super soil. I only needed a little but of soil so I didnt mix much. 2 gal black gold soil, 1 gal worm castings, 1tbsp dr earth premium gold Fertilizer, 1tbsp dr earth Life Fertilizer, 1tbsp bat guano. They all seem to be loving it so far. I also used a little bit of mycorrhiza on the tap root when I planted my seedlings. This is week one. I'm really hoping to gain and spread more knowledge on organic growing.

All the plants are coming along very nice. I really fucked up when I was vacuuming the spilled dirt out of my tent and when I wasnt paying attention like an idiot I sucked up the tips of a few leafs. So the melato clone is a bit stressed and so is one of the OG seedlings. But other than that were moving right along. We got some very strong fast growing seedlings this grow. I noticed I had the light a bit to close(about 3 inches from the top leaves) so I pulled the lights up a few inces to give them some room to grow. Not much to do this week but let nature take its course. They already have all the nutrients they need in their soil so I'm just watering with a little bit of molasses phed to 6.8 .

Alright, so out of the goodness of my heart. I donated a few of my seedlings to a friend who is also trying to get his grow started. So I'm now down to 2 OG Ghost 2 Hyer Up 1 ATF and 1 Melato. They are all moving right along, gonna need a watering today. But other than that just another week of watching them move along.

This week 2or3 of the ladies went through a small deficiency. It looked like it might be calmag so I just did another top feeding of the DR Earths Life and Premium Gold Fertilizers. They all will be getting transplanted in the next few weeks into some freshly amended super soil. And I will also be getting my Boogie Brew compost tea kit in the next few days so I'm sure they will love that stuff. I'm actually super excited to get it in and see their reactions. I've only heard people talk great thing about this product with no downside as far as I can see. Anyways thanks for checking out my garden

This week I transplanted into 1gallon pots. I noticed that the dirt I got from home depot had some gnats in it but I've already transplanted into it so theres no going back. My plan is to get some azamax and do a few foliar sprays a week a soil drench twice a week till their gone. I also went half strength on my soil mix because I think I slightly burnt the leafs on my ATF seedling. I also have the compost tea now so I won't be needing that strong of a soil mix in veg stage anyways.

Alright week 6 of my first 100% organic grow. All the plant went through a growth spert in the last week. They all grew about 3or4 really good healthy node spacings. So I went ahead and topped all of them. Some how I ended up fimming one I guess cause she ended up with 3 tops. But that’s fine with me. They are all moving right along and it looks like it’s gonna be an almost perfect transition from me harvesting the plants I have in flower to me putting these ladies into flower. I plan on harvesting the plants in my bud room 3 weeks from now. So maybe I’ll give these ladies an extra week or two on top of that to grow up a bit. But it should be almost perfect. Then as soon as these ladies go into the bud room, I’ll get a few clones from the Melato and Hyer Up plants that I liked and I’ll finally be able to start up my oceangrownseeds “tropic moon”. I’m super excited about having any ocean grown strains, and I can’t wait to see how this strain will do in my garden. I also want to see if these genetics are as amazing as they seem. Ohh I also got an iPhone now so I’ll be able to take decent pictures to show you guys my journey. Thanks for checking out my garden this week🤙

All I can say is waw.. I swear every time I open my tent (which is daily) these ladies have grown so much that it actually surprises me. These are probably some of the healthiest fastest growing plants I’ve ever grown. And I’ve heard rumors that plants grow slower with organics vs synthetic. I promise you guys if that is true it’s not by much. I don’t see how it would be possible for them to be growing much faster than they already are. So hopefully I won’t even need to keep them in veg for much longer than a week after I put them in the bud room. They will be going into my bud room in exactly 10 days because that’s when I plan to harvest the ladies I got in there. So they will have around 17 more days of veg before I put them in flower. And at the growth rate their going it might be sooner. I expect them all to be around 1&1/2 foot tall when they start bud. So they will all end up around 3 ft tall after their stretch. Today was pretty nice, It was payday so I bought a bunch of new stuff for the grow. Forest hummus, door seals, ducting for the intake and out take on the door, some cover crop, liquid seaweed/kelp, straw, TNB CO2, and nematodes for my gnat problem. Im also very excited to be harvesting the plants that I have left in my bud room tomorrow so I can get these ladies in there. I just started germinating my tropic moon from Ocean Grown Seeds. This week has pretty been good, I’m not sure how much longer I’m going to veg out these plants. The door I got for my closet is about 1/8 inch to wide on the top half. So I’m going to have to buy some sand paper and sand that down to size. I’m also waiting till I get paid next week to buy the 2 ducting fans I need and the ducting itself. So these ladies are gonna stay in veg a little longer than I would have wanted but honestly it’s just gonna give them time to fill out more. So I can’t be to upset and this time I should have everything they will need by the time the go into bud. My last diary I was kinda just running everything as cheap as I could.(I popped the seeds with almost no equipment except some left over stuff from past grows)But I realize you get what you pay for and since that I’ve been investing a few hundred $$ into the grow every now and again when I can. These ladies are already doing great compared to the ones from my last round. Every since switching to organic growing I haven’t had to deal with any deficiency’s at all. All my plants just grow beautiful and green with minimal effort. I do compost teas once or twice a month. And I amended the soil every transplant. Check out my other grows on my page. 🤙

This week I transplanted. The melato and the ATF got put into 4gal pots(because I have confirmed they are female). And the hyer up and OG got transplanted into 2 gallon pots. I added the wheat straw to keep the soil moist and left enough gaps and holes for the clover to grow right through. I got my ducting fan in from amazon today. So my closet is almost complete and ready for me to throw some of these ladies into bud in there. So by the end of next week we should have our bud room back. So I will be taking clones and swapping the bigger plants into bud. Thanks for checking out the grow✌️

The first two plants in the pictures are the ATF and the Hyer Up. They were still much smaller than the other 3 so I’m going to wait an extra few weeks before I throw them into bud. I still haven’t flipped the big 3 into bud stage yet. I’m waiting to buy the last few things this next Wednesday before I flip them into bud. I bought the wrong ducting last time and it literally falls apart as soon as you bend it. Couldn’t have been more of a waste of money. So I’m gonna need to buy the flexible ducting and a few more things to make sure the door is sealed. Another reason was because the branches on some of these ladies were a bit thin. So I did some super cropping on the more main branches. And I figure by the time it takes them to heal and fully bounce back I should have my room fully dialed in for bud stage. Other than that we’re cruising right along. My melato clone that I took a few weeks before I germinated all the seeds is just exploding. Nonstop aggressive growth, even the next day after being super cropped heavily and you can’t even tell the difference. She’s been growing multiple inches a day and I’m afraid we’re gonna have a monster that overshadows everything around her. So another thing I’m hoping to do is to get a new led in my bud room at least mid way through bud. I know it’s not ideal but I’ve had my eye on the optic 1 leds for a while now and I think adding a 54w optic 1 to each side of my SK 140w will be a perfect set up for my bud room. But we’ve got a ways to go before I can throw that kind of money into my closet grow. Anyways I’m done rambling, thanks for checking in on the garden ✌️

This week I took clones, 4 from the OG, 6 from the Hyer Up, and 8 from the Melato. I also switched the light cycle to 12/12. So today is technically the first day of bud. But I’m just gonna mark it as next week. I think I’ve basically gotten rid of the gnats. I used a very strong dose of nematodes, and I gotta say these little guys are definitely putting in work. I only see maybe one or 2 gnats every now and again compared to the 25 that would fly into my face every time I opened my door or tent. But like I said I’m still seeing a few and i want to make sure I fully get rid of them so I’m gonna get some Azamax if I still see them in another week. I just order a new Optic 1 XL 100w 3500k led light . This thing was $200 but I’m extremely excited to be adding a light into my bud room. The SK closet case wasn’t quite cutting it for 5ftx2.5ft. Not to say it’s not doing it’s job cause it damn sure does it’s job, and well for being a 2-3 year old light. I also ordered about $160 in more equipment that I need from amazon. Trimmers, dry amendments, ducting, outlet timers, humidity and temp thermometers. Just a bunch of good stuff. Anyways that’s it for the update this week. 🤙 stay healthy

I got my Optic 1 xl 100w COB LED in the mail just a few days ago and I’m super impressed with this light. The intensity honestly rivals a 250or400w HID light. The light was not at all super expensive. Only $203 after shipping, and it’s well worth it. ( I’m not at all trying to sell this product, I just haven’t see very many journals or reviews on them. Hopefully this journal will help give my view on this light) This is the start of week 1 in bud. I flipped the lights to 12/12 6days ago. And I’ve definitely noticed a stretch from each of these ladies. I think I’ve forgot to mention it but I’ve been using the TNB natural CO2 enhancer. It seems to be doing a great job. I feel like these ladies are definitely growing faster than the plants from my last round that didn’t have any CO2 enhancement. As you guys can see from the pictures and video I’ve installed a trellis net and started spreading these plants out. Over in my veg then the Hyer up plant that I’ve been waiting on to grow up a bit before I throw her into bud ended up being a male. So that means the only plant from this round I haven’t thrown into bud yet is my ATF which has also been in the veg tent with the Hyer Up and the clones. She’s only about 1 &1/2 foot tall from her soil. So I’m gonna give her an extra 2maybe 3 weeks before I get clones from her and put her in the bud room with the other ladies. In the video you can see a kinda gap or hole in the trellis in the back left corner. That’s where I plan to put the ATF when it’s time. Other than that everything is moving along great. I did another top feeding of dry amendments for the ladies I just put in bud. I’ll put those pictures in there as well. Thanks for checking out the garden. Here at the beginning of week 2 I fed these ladies another strong dose of compost tea. They seem to be doing great. The melato clone is exploding through the trellis netting. I’m glad I got another 7or8 clones of her for next round. I’ll probably only keep the strongest 2or3 and give the rest away but still. It’s always best to take extra clones so that you can keep the strongest growing clones and either compost or give away the runts. I’m also very interested with the Hyer up plant from seed in the front right corner this round. She seems a bit scragglier than the pheno I grew last run but I’m starting to see hints or purple on the forming Calix’s and the pistil’s. So We will see how she does this run and see if it’s worth keeping the clones I took from her. The one in the front left is the Ghost OG and this is the last time I’ll be running her in my indoor garden. I’m just not to happy with the strain overall but I already popped this bean and if by some crazy chance she turns out to be a keeper pheno I have clones of her as well. And finally, the empty spot that you see in the netting in the back left is reserved for the ATF you can see in the last few pictures. She is a super slow grower and her branch structure is crazy stacked. Barely 1or2 inches between each node. So I raised my lights up as far as I can to see if I can get her to start stretching out for the light a bit more. Hopefully by the time the clones I just took from her root she will be ready for the bud room. Usually my clones root in 8-12 days. This is my first time running this ATF Strain so the same thing goes for it as does the Ghost OG and the Hyer up. If I’m not happy with the buds in the end result I will get rid of the clones I took of her. I have very limited space and resources. I only want to grow strains I know are gonna be dank. Which is why I’m so glad I got some OceanGrownSeeds genetics. I now have their Tropic Moon and their Dark Plasma. This is the beginning of week 3 in bud. I’ve decided to not put the ATF plant in my bud room this round. I’m hoping she will just keep growing slow and my clones will eventually catch up with her so they can all go in together next round. The buds have definitely starting to swell up this past week. They all seem to have bounced back from their week 2 lollipopping. I’m very excited for this Melato in the back. She’s obviously outgrown the other 2 strains I have in the room currently. She’s also started throwing off the most smells as well. With some really strong indica OG gas smells. But other than that, everything normal this week. Just plain PHed water every other day. Alright, happy month of 420 to all🤙🌲 This is 3 days into week 4 of bud for these ladies (day 25). They have all definitely started swelling up and putting on frost. For some reason I’m not recognizing any of theses bud structure. The two seed grown plants up front are way different phenotypes than the plants I grew last round. And even the clone I took that’s in the back is way crazy different than the mother I took her from. So I’m assuming these genetics aren’t to stable. But they aren't done yet so I guess I can’t quite judge till it’s finished. Anyways once’s I get a strong mother of that Dark Plasma and Tropic Moon I’ll probably stop running these strains and only run those two strains for a bit

Today is day 32 of bud for these ladies. They are are swelling up good and put on a lot of resin. I’m very excited for this harvest. That’s because these ladies each have there own person Tropic smell to them. The OG is kinda orange cream soda terps. The melato almost has a coconut terp profile to it. And the Trainwreck smells like some kind of wild berry. So I’m definitely glad I got clones form each of these so I can run them again next round. Except for the OG. I have them their last feeding in week 4 on around day 29. I just did a top dress of bio live and rose and flower by down to earth. Anyways thanks for checking out the garden. Week 6 of flower for these ladies and their pistols are all starting to turn very orange. You can see in the picture of the burn leaf that I messed up on the PH and let it run to high for to long, so my PH level was around 7.2 in my soil. The Ghost OG seems to be a bit behind in development than the other two but that’s fine. I’ll probably still chop her same day as the others because I won’t be running the ghost OG anymore. I have recently been stocking my personal seed vault. So in the near future after I get a strong mother from the Tropic Moon & Dark Plasma by OceanGrownSeeds. I plan on also be running the Dominatrix and the Primal Punch F2 by EmpireBreedingCo. I hope you guys are excited to see these strains grown. Alright, these ladies are mid way through week 7 day 52 of bud. Just 3 days ago i started the flush stage for these plants even tho I’ve heard 1000x that it’s not necessary for organic gardens. I still do it just because. So these ladies got fed 2gal each of plain PH corrected water. With no sugars of any kind added. They all seem to be flushing out very well with most of their leafs turning yellow with purple on the tips. If you see any crumpled leafs it’s from last week when I noticed my soil PH had drifted to high. So I’ve been trying to correct it but these ladies are just about done so I’m not to worried. It looks like we got 1 week left on the Train Wreck and maybe 2 weeks on the OG and the Melato. The Train Wreck actually looks ready to chop down now but when I got up close with a jewel scope I saw that her trichome development is only at 50% cloudy and 47% clear with maybe around 3% amber. So I’m sure she will be ready by the day 58 mark but the OG and the Melato will probably go to around day 65. Mid way through week 9 and everything has been chopped down. The Train Wreck finished a bit earlier than usual at day 56 but the Ghost OG and the Melato were both harvested on day 61. And that was still probably a week to early for those two but I didn’t have the time to let those two finish out 100% of the way. Anyways they all look and smell amazing. The Train Wreck is straight up the most blue berry smelling plant I’ve ever grown. So I’m glad I got a good clone off her. At the end of the pictures you can see that I’ve started up some new seeds from EmpireBreedingCo. I have the Dominatrix and the Primal Punch F2 from them. This was a great strain, super fast finisher. I already got some clones of her so i could keep her genetics around in the garden. I was very impressed with this strain. It’s just something my buddy bred in his back yard with a bag seed that ended up being male and a clone he got from a local dispensary. I’ll probably only run her 1or 2 more time just because of space and I have a lot more Solid genetics in my garden now. This plant was very nice in veg, she grew crazy fast and strong. But when it came to bud stage she just kept growing so many leafs out her buds. Like I said at the top this is easily the leafies strain I’ve ever grown. I won’t be growing it again but I’m very happy with what I got
