Thanks for the advice , I think I did have salt build up a few weeks into flower. I used coir mixed with compost and didn't realise that the coir had an ec reading around 1600 (not even sure it was npk salts ! lesson learnt there. next time I'll buy better soil to start .I think my issue was that the pH of my soil was just over 8 , once I managed to get it lower the plant grew much better . I'm sure I've not done it any favours but I'm still happy it never died.on a side note I started a kush seed with the same flower time at the same time, same soil , same feed , same everything only a smaller pot and that had no issues and finished a week early in the same tent ! so I think the sativa was just harder to grow.I like Sativa's for daytime use as I medicate all day due to crohns disease and a couple of other reasons , so Im looking to go sativa again , does anyone know of a good sativa that's easy to grow ? or a strain with an energetic up high that won't leave me sleepy or stuck on the couch :-)
