Changed light from a single 3500k qb running ~ 135W, to a 250W 'respec' with 660nm boards 3500k @ 150W. Tight nodes quick growth.
pH was floating down to 5.88-5.6. No more pH down required. GHs maxigrow at a 1tsp/gal puts my pH right at 6, add the other nutes brings it down to 5.9. After a day ph drops a bit, I assume the great white is feeding and this is ok. I like the Floralicious Plus addition, it should give the great white flora some diversity as they eat the sugars and multiply. Don't like that it turns the solution dark black/brown.
Not happy with root color, added more air, a scoop of great white (on top of normal gw in res) in each bucket.
@Kid_Colombia,
Hey thanks Kid! This is the first time I am using Great White, its vast diverse bacterial and fungal makeup interested me vs hydroguard 1 bacterium. Hydroguard claims its Bacillus bacteria is dominate.
Nice set up
I love the buckets.
In my opinion it’s the best results
My roots are off white as well from what I can tell it’s because of the vitamin b1 and kelp mix totally normal
Good luck I’ll be following your post.
