They're developing more milky trichomes and continuing to ripen, but no amber trichomes have appeared yet.

if it didn't smell before, it's probably not due to an incorrect activated charcoal filter. have you checked the seals? i've read before that too much humidity affects the filter. but it could also simply be because the smell is too intense, so that the filter doesn't work properly. the very last possibility would of course be that the ability decreases due to age
