Hi everyone, I'm grower Zuko and this is my automatic mixed grow. I'm growing a Royal Gorilla and a Solomatic both in 11l pots and a Stress Killer in a 22l pot. I will be growing fully organic in a premixed dcm soil mixed with some worm compost and around 40% perlite. Lights: 160W LED and 2X55W TNEON. Welcome to my grow. Little bit about me: I started growing with some microgrows 4 years ago. These microgrows taught me a lot like the importance of good LST, but more importantly it made me realize that I really love growing. For some reason however I sort of quit growing for about 2 years, but now I'm back with an automatic minigrow. I'm growing a Royal Gorilla Automatic, Stress killer and Solomatic, all the seeds bought at Royal Queen seeds. I'm using a 160W LED, which isn't in the best of conditions seeing as some blue diodes are flashing and a TNEON light fitted with two 55W bulbs, the same lights that I used in my microgrows. I am growing 2 medicinal plants because I have ADD and I'm very interested in the effects of CBD and the beneficial effects of medical strains on my symptoms. I might even do a full report on that later. WEEK 1 --- All seeds germinated within 3 days. Planted them and they sprouted the next day. Very satisfied.

Let the plants grow for an entire week. Leaves started curling upwards on the Solomatic plant, so I put her under the TNEON lights and put the Royal Gorilla under the LED. Nothing special to report.

Plants are really starting to grow now. Set lights to 20/4 because I prefer to give automatics some hours of darkness. Gave the plants their first real low stress training and I added some dried cow manure and water with some lactobacillus that I fermented myself. Starting now I will be adding lactobacillus everytime I water them.

Fucked up during this week, one of the ropes that I used to LST the stress killer got way to tight and I accidentally cut off a big part of the main stem. Thought about killing the plant and starting anew, but eventually decided to let her live. Other plants are doing mighty fine. I apologize for the lack of photos, holidays and all that.

This week I kept low stress training the ladies. Am watering them approximately every 4 days. As you can see they are doing mighty fine. Gorilla (front left) is getting really bushy. Solomatic (front right) is looking nice, but small. Stress killer (back) has recovered and is stretching.

Defoliated a little bit this week, because the plants were getting really bushy. Froze the defoliated leaves so I can add them to my smoothies. Also added some bone meal since the plants are definitely flowering now and could use the extra phosporus. Stress killer (back) is still stretching as is to be expected seeing as I probably set her back for a week or so by nearly killing her. Gorilla (front left) is looking really pretty but extremely bushy. Solomatic (front right) is looking fine but small.

Defoliated all the plants at the start and end of the week. Added some bone meal at the start of the week as well. Watering when ground is relatively dry, so basically every 2 - 3 days and they each get around 1,5l. Normal tap water, topped off with 6-7ml of the lactobacillus that I fermented. Smell is present, but not overwhelming at this point, I will however get back to you with a full smell report when I finally get rid of the cold. Royal Gorilla Automatic: Postition in tent: front left 11l pot Heavy defoliation at end of week She's mostly getting grown under LED with side branches picking up some light from the TNEONs Started flowering before the other plants, but strangely her buds still need a lot of densing up. Little to no smell or trichomes forming at this point. Solomatic (CBD automatic): Position in tent: front right 11l pot Is getting grown under the TNEON lights Very small and beautiful plant Because the plant is so small I lift her up by resting her on a brick. Hopefully this way she picks up some more light. Very nice and rich smell, definitely some citrus in there, but I will elaborate on the smell in the coming weeks. Buds are already densing up and trichomes are starting to form Stress killer (automatic medicinal plant mixed THC/CBD 1/1) Position in tent; back 22l pot Struggled a lot thanks to me fucking up while low stress training in week 4 or so. Nonetheless she has definitely recovered and is turning into a classy lady. She has a very nice but very hard to describe smell (will come back to this later). Not as many bud sites as I would have hoped (my own fault), but the buds are starting to dense up nicely. Trichomes are also starting to form.

As you can see I had a little shoot with a macro lens. Plants aren't ready yet, but we've entered the final stretch. Been having some mosquito problems the past 2 weeks due to me adding some old soil. Am trying to fix this with sticky fly traps. Could use nematodes but seeing as the plants have only a couple of weeks left in them, I'm choosing to just wing it. Royal Gorilla automatic: Plant is lagging behind quite a lot, trichomes are only barely forming and buds have been stagnant for a while now. Looking at the effected leaves, I suspect it to be a manganese, calcium and/or magnesium deficiency caused by my soil being to acidic (don't have a PH meter so no way to know for sure). In future grows, I will add some more nutrients when mixing my soil, top dress better and add compost tea's to not run into this issue again. Plant is around 55cm tall and has little to no smell. Solomatic: 1 or 2 weeks to go, almost ready for harvest. Everything seems to be going good, plant isn't displaying any deficiencies. Small plant (35cm) but really beautiful. Buds are getting dense, might even have to support some branches soon. A nice hazy like smell. Stress killer: Couple of weeks to go, seeing as the plant normally needs around 12 weeks. I checked some similar grow reports and I'm expecting the plant to dense up like crazy starting now. The trichomes on this plant are already really nice and her buds are already pretty dense. The smell on this plant is present, yet not overwhelming. I'd describe it as really sweet with a touch of citrus. Biggest plant of the bunch coming in at around 60cm. Allround really impressed with this plant, I nearly killed her but she survived and thrived. What's even more impressive is the fact that she isn't displaying any sings of stress or nutrient deficiencies. Can't wait to try this one.

Royal Gorilla Automatic: Checked out some similar grow diaries and came to the conclusion that she's definitely in shock as she's lagging behind quite a bit. Last week I diagnosed the plant with some deficiencies (mg/mn/calc), possibly caused by the soil's PH being to acidic. To counter this, I started the week by topdressing the plant with some fresh soil, quite a bit of kelp meal (to raise PH and supply the plant with calcium and magnesium) and some worm compost. This time I watered the plant without adding lactobacillus. This seems to have been effective seeing as the plant has restarted growing . Buds are finally starting to dense up, trichomes are finally forming and the plant is starting to look healthy again. Still waiting on the smell though. Added some bone meal at the end of the week to try and get the buds to dense up some more. Solomatic: Plant is looking great, showing no signs of nutrient deficiencies. Her buds are getting quite dense and the trichomes are present and sticky as fuck. She has a nice haze like smell to her, which I really like. Although she isn't showing any signs of deficiencies I did add a tiny bit of kelp meal and worm compost at the start of the week, followed by some bone meal at the end of the week. Normally I wouldn't add fertilizer this close to harvest, but I have a feeling I can get the buds to dense up even more this way. Will probably give her another week and a flush before I harvest her. Stress Killer: The healthiest plant of the bunch, showing absolutely no signs of deficiencies or stress. The sweet smell is present, yet not (yet) overwhelming. Her buds are getting really dense and the trichomes are everywhere and super sticky. Added some fresh soil, some worm compost and a bit of kelp meal at the start of the week, followed by some bone meal at the end of the week. She should normally grow for about 10-12 weeks, so I'm expecting her to fatten up like crazy now. Can't wait to smoke this one.

Very easy plant to grow, but sadly she stayed extremely small. Nonetheless she had a nice structure and nice buds, especially given my weak lighting. Harvest was pretty straightforward and after drying and curing it totaled to about 15g. From what I remember, she had a very nice and aromatic smoke. Sadly due to covid-19 most of this weed has been consumed through edibles / oil. All round opinion: Very easy and straightforward to grow CBD strain. Would def recommend to beginners or microgrowers (or for scrog, ...) looking for a cbd heavy strain.

This plant was a fun one to grow. Seeing as I think I benefit most from THC/CBD mixed plants, I wanted this plant to have the biggest pot. My biggest pot however is a rectangle one of about 20l, so I decided to give it a try. All went well until about halfway through. During LST, I accidentally snapped 50% of the plant. Tried to fix it but too little too late. The plant however quickly recuperated and thrived on. During the last weeks of flower the buds swelled up vigorously and produced and amazing sweet citrus smell. After smoking and vaping her a ton, I must however say that I'm quite disappointed. Flavor wise, she had a nice citrus taste and she's easy on the throat, but I've had way better. Effect wise, she's really a lightweight. I'm suspecting the thc and cbd percentages to be quite low on this one. It's ok, but I've had way better similar strains like dance world. Might try smoking copious amounts later and see if that gives me any noticeable effects. All round opinion: Very easy to grow plant that produces some beautiful dense buds that smell like sweet citrus heaven. Effect wise however, she is a lightweight and there are better THC/CBD mixed strains out there.

Last plant in the tent. Ideally I think she would have needed 2 more weeks, but due to certain circumstances I could only give her 1 week. Gave her a final flush before letting her dry out to harvest.

So this plant was something. At first she was the best plant of the bunch, but eventually she kind of stopped growing for a while. After a while I suspected her to have a nutrient shock caused by incorrect PH. Added some kelp meal to raise PH after which she restarted growing. Due to this however, she 'lost' a bit of grow time during flower and could have used an extra week in the end. This was however not a possibility so I had to cut her down early. Got about 44g out of her after everything was said and done. It's a nice and easy smoke on the throat which mostly leaves me with dry eyes and a dry mouth, feeling relaxed and tired.
