Technically second grow, as hinted to by the title, but the first one was more of a trial run to make sure that it was feasible. This time I have proper genetics and I have switched to organic dry amendments due to ease of use. Grow tent is 2.5x2.5 and is 5 feet tall. I'm using a small fan for circulation and a high static pressure computer for air exchange through a carbon filter. My grow light has two modes so I can later switch to flower mode and have and increased blue and red spectrum for better growth in flower, but currently it is just on the standard 5000k with 2 COB LEDs. The grow medium is Coco Coir, washed and buffered with CALiMAGic to make sure that the plants have enough calcium and magnesium, however it should be redundant considering we have such hard tap water. Perlite is also mixed in at a 30/70 ratio with the coco. Amendments were mixed in at the same time as the perlite and a small amount of humic acid and molasses were added to kick-start the microbial life. Genentics call for an 8-9 week flower so I will probably plan to harvest around early May. See Y'all Round, _capricious

I may need to water more frequently but with less amount at a single time to prevent water run off and excess build up in the bottom of the pots. Started LST to hopefully cause a shorter plant height due to growing constraints. I plan on topping as soon as they reach 6 nodes.

The plants weren't really suffering from lack of water due to the strength of the medium, however with extra water this week they have really been able to flourish. About to start LST on plant 4 and start topping as soon as the 6th nodes pop up on Plants 1 & 2. I think I will need to give Plant 3 & 4 some for CALi-MAGic to help with the potential iron deficiencies.

Starting to get busy with life, so I neglected a few waterings. Some potential light burn as well so I moved the light a little higher. Plants appear to be healthy, although its about time for more slow release nutrients to be top dressed. I'm planning on topping all of the plants a few times before my planned 8 week flower cycle. Defoliation is also looking like it will be in the cards considering how vertically challenged these plants are going to be with my training habits (I'm only growing in a 5' tall grow tent). Still hoping for all females 🙏.

Kept it simple with water ph at 6 or just a little lower to account for possible iron deficiencies. A minor amount of defoliation on a few plants to open more tops up to light. Added dry amendments and watered them in to keep the soil packed with neuts.

Pretty slow in terms of updates just letting them grow then tying them down to make sure they stay low and bushy. Gave them some humic acid to help promote nutrient uptake. I unfortunately have been neglecting a lot of watering making them a little stunted.

Wilting caused by lack of watering. This post is being filled out 3/12 just because I've been so busy. I really neglected to water and watch out for my plants this week. Heavy defoliation right after the previous weeks pics were taken, they can still bounce back. Possibly showing signs of iron deficiencies again.

Plants are suffering from lack of water and possible nutrient lockout due to an incorrectly calibrated ph meter. Looks like they are going to need a much more acid soil to counteract how alkaline it has become as well as try to add some additional sulfur and microbe food with the molasses. They are being set into flower at the start of this week and I'm planning on a 16 week total grow. So, were halfway there, livin' on a prayer. Also my girlfriend has affectionately named them my "plant-o-looms". Dunno why, just sounded cute and stuck I guess.

@capricious from the way they are yellowing I would say its lacking in iron which can be corrected by spraying with chelated iron I would reccomend a regular feeding of Calmag as well mate

You are in a early stage of your grow, and its no big damage, It may took not so nice, but its way better than having an excess. Plants come back just continue feeding . Ian around 3 weeks she should look great again
