Clones took down roots and all recovered well even with me interrupting constantly working on the grow room around it. I may move them over to final pots by the end of the week if everything continues to go well. Raised room temperature slightly and lowered RH to be in line with VPD now that they have the roots to take in the needed moisture and nutrients.

Finished up the room and put them all in final pots. 400 PPFD across the canopy and I got some good veg in before the last transplant. Looking forward to some real veg time so I can get them topped, get the other half of the mono crop in its own tray for auto watering and start filling the canopy.

First full week in veg. Topped at 14 inches. Will probably move half to the other tray this week and get them under a trellis net. Time to get auto watering dialed in.

PPFD is at 550-650 across the canopy. Got the trellis net on the girls. Ready to pounce on the flip but will hold of as long as I can keep the canopy even. I may flip early because I am ready to get on to my next cultivars also... Was late getting the trellis up due to basically building out the room as I was growing in it. Had to do some super cropping to get the even canopy I wanted. Got some defoliation and lollipopping done but I know that I will be shaving off some more from the underside. I have hopeful's that I realistically know won't make the cut, and get cut. Decided to go with 7 plants. 3 on each side and 1 in the middle to fill out the middle. Put the runt in the middle and she should shoot up in the stretch and fill the middle out for me. This LSD's side branches aren't as leggy as the mono crop sister Blueberry OG I am running in the tray next to this, so that extra plant was needed with the side branches not filling out the canopy as much. No telling what I will do. I would like to wait a week and get a bit more veg but this could also be day 0 for flower as well. Vigorous growth and the crop will speak to me and tell me when to flip... or I just say screw it and flip :)

Well I made it 3 more days before flipping them all. Canopy was filled and it was time. Collage over the end of veg through some of flower showing heights. It's growing between 1 and 1.5 inches daily and not for lack of light. It is under 800 PPFD and growing into the light and loving it. Really glad I added the extra plant in the middle because the lower side branches just aren't reaching up enough to the top branches. The extra plant filled out the middle of the canopy nicely and allowed me to fill in the outside with the others. I really could have done 9 but I am happy with the 7. Showed early magnesium deficiency on just a few fans after day 3 of flower. Upped the reservoir with 25ppm of magnesium sulfate, otherwise known as Epsom salt and it has taken care of the problem. Should have the second trellis before next week but everything is going along as it should be before we get to the controversial week of leaf stripping. I will be told I am screwing up my grow! But its ok.

Week went as expected. Still stretching, 14 inches over the week. Still raising lights daily and keeping the PPFD in the 800-850 range and I am only pulling 450 watts on each side. Gotta love these Samsung strip lights. Leaf strip soon but I shouldn't need to go crazy. Canopy is very well spread out and there is plenty of photons and airflow, but I will make it a bit better. Last picture is of the two side by side, the LSD started stretching a bit later and has actually passed the BBOG in heights. Still have room above to raise lights as needed but they should be mostly done. Nothing wrong so nothing to write about except the facts. Should start getting some nice hairy bud pictures as the node stacking gets closer. Not much for smell though I don't run any filters and I am just so used to it that I won't smell much until they start really producing. Took some cuts before the flip and I hope the smoke is good.

Started off with some super cropping. The girls really just wanted to keep going... Gave a couple of days to recover and on to the leafstrip. They recovered well from both. Lots of long skinny stems coming out from the bottom are gone. Perhaps I didn't need the 7th plant on the tray after all, but it's all the same in the end. It's more likely that I largely ignored them in veg due to me building out the room so they could have a nice home to flower in. I really didn't structure the veg at all and just topped them once and let the side branches work up as mains. Still should be a nice harvest and I have the time to prepare my girls in veg now. I am excited for the cultivars in my next run. Hard work is over for awhile and I get to sit back and watch and smell them do their thing.

Just adjusted the lights to keep a 900-950 PPFD over the canopy on these girls. Keeping suckers off as they appear under the main canopy. Resin rails looking good on these and enjoy watching them grow as the week went on.

This is now going to be called the marionette grow at the half way mark of flower. As mass increases the weight is pulling the colas to the side and down. I started to tie them up before it gets out of hand. Waiting for Amazon to deliver more string. They don't see it as an essential item, I disagree 🙃 This is mostly due to me largely ignoring them in veg because I was building the flower room. I should have done a third trellis net but they really just kept stretching beyond what I thought they would. 16 inches to over 50 is a lot for an 80% indica strain. Still I should have taken the time to properly top them in veg and I am now dealt with the consequences of my inaction. Besides that they are really very sticky with resin. Simply putting up a couple of strings for support left my arms very sticky but rather pleasant smelling. I look at the sister crop of Blueberry OG and see slight shifts from the weight but nothing like this LSD is doing.

Quick update. Busy busy. I am hanging more colas as I go. Priority to the mains and kinda let stuff go to the side for now. Tops continue to grow while the lowers continue to frost. Small calcium deficiency that was addressed quickly and hopefully will have no affect on the final product. Stay safe out there.

A day early on the update. The girls keep packing on weight and frost making me tie up more of them as they lean over. Job security.... The sister crop BBOG is closer to finishing up and really dominating the room and house with sweet terpenes. LSD is just a bit behind as far as smell but certainly has bigger colas. Click that like button, you know you want to 😉

These girls just keep on packing on the weight. Not much to do but let them do so. Very musky smelling girls.

This should be the last update before harvest. Just plain ph waterings and she should finish up right on time. They had been packing on weight for a while now but they are frosting over nicely as the stigmas curl back and turn orange. Every time I hit a branch by accident I get strong earthy, musky smells coming out of them. Trichomes are mostly cloudy with a stray amber here and there. Want to keep this trippy strain as low on the amber as I can. Stay safe out there.

These girls are loud. Such a strong musky smell as I chop them down. Pretty straight up grow. No major deficiencies or anything came at me. Stretched a bit more than I expected but to be fair it is my first grow in the new setup and the sister crop blueberry og stretched more than it should have as well. Plenty of light to the canopy, I am pretty is was my mis management in veg that caused the stretch. Added another 4x4 to the setup for the next round and I will have Apex, Grape Diamonds and Early Lemon Berry from Ethos running. I have high expectations for the next grow, so we will see how it goes. I will update after it dries and gets a bit of a cure for a smoke report. Again. It is loud. Not something you want to grow if you don't want others knowing about your grow unless you have some great filters running. Stay safe.

@Growing_healTHCare, ahhhh I see. So basically you should have topped that bitch to like node 1 or 2 and mainline 🤣
Growing_healTHCare
Growing_healTHCarecommented5 years ago
@Visions, Oh she was topped. I just let it go to long. In my state anything below 14 inches is a seedling, anything above 14 inches is in vegetation(unless in flower). I just let it go to 14 inches and topped it there for the first topping because I needed to start new seeds so Ineeded these to be in veg. It's a dumb game I have to play with plant counts to stay legal and building the flower room threw off my perpetual rotation.
