rastafara The seed turned out to be very strong. I cut the tip off, placed the seed between two wet cotton pads, put it in a plastic bag, inflated it with air, and tied it up. I placed the bag in a dark spot. The root appeared after 40 hours, with a length of a few millimeters. The seed was planted in a pot with store-bought soil (80%) + 20% Vermiculite, which has been tested through several successful growing cycles. I covered it with a plastic cup with ventilation holes, sprayed it with a spray bottle to create a mini greenhouse. After two days, it had already sprouted, I helped it shed the helmet and placed it under the lamp. It's developing excellently. I water it about every 2-3 days with 500-1000 ml. I try to pour more water not directly at the base but around it, so the roots spread better. I won't fertilize anything until the 3rd-4th week of growth. I water it with settled tap water with a balanced pH: 6.5. I acidify the water with electrolyte.

rastafara Everything is great. The 4th pair of leaves and side shoots are starting to grow. I’ve started bending them. I water only with water every 2-3 days as it dries out. The soil holds moisture well. The leaf on the third pair is growing strangely, like it’s double) A bit of a mutant. Once it grows a bit more, I’ll take a photo.

rastafara The side branches have started to grow vigorously. The little plant is very lush. I'm continuing to water only with water, without fertilizers. I showed the floor on day 16.

Grow Questions
rastafara
rastafarastarted grow question 7y ago
The pH of the water for irrigation is 6.5. The pH of the water that drained from the drainage hole is 5.3. I bought dolomite lime to slightly raise the soil pH. Should I mix about 1 tablespoon in 4.54 liters of water and water with this mixture a few times?

One tablespoon per liter. Shook and spilled a pot. Ph will rise gradually. Dolomite is a long-playing buffer. It is necessary to be very careful with deoxidants; their introduction can cause a Ph jump in the alkaline side and thereby cause a block of nutrients. Wood ash is also an excellent deoxidizer. Good luck!

rastafara Watering only with water, no fertilizers. On day 23, I bent and broke the top :-(. But the side branches saved the situation :-) On day 25, I watered once with dolomite flour (a tablespoon per 1.5 liters) to raise the pH a bit. The pH of the water with dolomite flour is 7.2, and it drained out at 5.5-5.8. Flowering is about to start. No problems are observed.

rastafara Started fertilizing. Raised the pH with dolomite flour, as the soil was a bit acidic around 5.8. It has started to flower, but it's still just the beginning of blooming. I would prefer a faster-maturing strain. Some of the medium leaves have small spots. The problem isn't significant yet. I think it's due to the acidic soil and a lack of phosphorus. I added fertilizers.
