The Special Queen went into soil five days later than the other three, after my RQS freebie Northern Lights Auto failed to sprout, so it's still at two leaf pairs. I'm a bit concerned about the timing, but I have 9 more Special Queen seeds, so not too stressed if it's a tiny gal.
The Royal Gorilla is a monster compared to the two Solomatics. Very happy about this, as it was my only seed of the strain.
One Solomatic seems really poor genetics, almost looks crippled. The topped Solomatic is modest, but healthy.
Watering with a thorough soaking, until start of runoff, every other day.
DAY 17 UPDATE: After the success of my first intervention, topping the healthier Solomatic, I decided to go for a topping of the Royal Gorilla and the second Solomatic. Pictures to follow, hopefully tomorrow.
The Royal Gorilla is living up to the name.
Really disappointed in Solomatic #2, but maybe she will catch up. At least now she's just scrawny looking, rather than sickly/crippled looking. And Solomatic #1 is doing reasonably well, so my hopes for CBD medicine are still in place.
Again, not setting a high bar for the Special Queen, as her sisters will receive a dedicated 4x grow down the road. Still, looking fine regardless.
Overall, still satisfied with the environment, schedule and progress!
Just switched to 12-12 light as pistils emerged on the two Solomatics. Overall happy with the progress and nutrients. No visible issues so far.
Hopefully, the photoperiod change is okay for the Special Queen. She went into soil five days later than the rest and isn't an autoflower. Fingers crossed, because otherwise she's looking very vibrant.
