These girls are coming along fantastically! Great work buddy. I can't wait to see how they start to look once they are in the full throws of flower. Best wishes growing these girls to completion buddy :D
Yes that's true, but that's the same for every high-end LED brand and the SolarSystem Series offer the highest quality for the best pricing in my opinion. Still definitely worth it to me😁👌
Blackdog Phytomax-2 600: Power draw: 410 Watts - € 1519,00
California Lightworks SolarSystem 550: Power draw: 400 Watts - € 899,00
@Sindria_UGC, I just got 1 Gram per Watt off my COB. They put out some serious PPFD. I believe the efficiency is up to 3 PPFD per Watt. They are crazy efficient. I highly recommend trying one out if you get the chance :D
@DabCrab, Good job mate😀!! I'm happy that you yielded so good😉👌 The newer generations of LEDs are getting more and more efficient indeed so let's hope they get cheaper as well haha:p Do you maybe know how much the PPFD in μmol/m2/s at a certain hanging distance is? And the photon efficiency in µmol/J? And they are indeed very powerful and deliver equal light distribution, compared to many ''diode based'' LEDs, often with bad lenses (bad light distribution; concentrated foorprint, high PPFD values in the middle, rapidly declining at the edges). The Magnus ML Series only uses COBs as well. The first two rounds with the ML 350 (330 Watts, Strain: Inner Vision) where 380 and 420g p/m2 (these yields are very low according to the developer of the Magnus Lights, compared to some other tests😜.. They claim >2.2 with CO2). One example with a 3 bar SANlight S4W setup (420 Watts, Strain: Inner Vision, hanging distance: 30cm) was 560g p/m2. The results with the SolarSystem 550 (400 Watts, Strain: Inner Vision) are on average between 400-500g p/m2. The same mother was used for all the clones in these tests. Some of these tests (with the same strain) were tested by the lab and showed that an average HPS light was 6% lower in THC compared to the SolarSystem 550. An average Chinese LED was 4-2% lower compared to the SS550, (besides the higher terpene and cannabinoid %s with LEDs),
I'm very curious about your experience concerning the taste, smell etc compared to HPS light for example? And what your next choice in light will be👻 Good luck!
@Sindria_UGC, at 12 inches they average about 1000 - 1100 PPFD. I'd be happy to grab some readings for you after the holidays. You can lookup their PPFD on youtube though it varies when you use different wattages and power them at different MA.

@DabCrab, Thank you mate! I can't complain so far (only about the fckin thrips😬, but they seem under control for now). And I can't wait either haha, I'm hoping for better results in a SCROG this time! My previous grow with the Phytomax-2 600 was fcked up, because I went on a vacation and they grew too tall and I lost the required space between the light and canopy😑 Lightburn.. loss in biomass.. and so on (but the quality was still great😀)
@Sindria_UGC, Thrips are satan. I had them over a year ago. I just burned everything and started over from seed besides a few clones I managed to clean and save.
@DabCrab, I completely understand your choice haha👹 They need a ritualistic burning👺 I'm glad you managed to rescue some👌! They are almost impossible to exterminate when you are growing in several tents, with different flowering cycles etc., like you say; you need to kill them all at once💀
@biggreens420, Yes I hate them as well haha, these are fucking hardcore:p They already survived thousands of predatory bugs and mites during previous grows (a nice trust annihilating present from a cutting supplier). When you thought they were gone.. Let's hope the Bio Foliar Immulon T-Ipa keeps it's promise!
@@@Sergey, Hi Sergey! This tent is 100x100x200cm, the brand is Homebox (Evolution or Ambient Series). The Blackdog Phytomax-2 600 consumes 615 Watts and Blackdog claims this light is comparable to a 1000 Watts HPS light. It is one of the few lights that contains a lot of UVA (380-400nm) as well. There are more parts of the spectrum than those I'm about to mention but this specific light peaks in Blue (450nm) + Violet (400-450nm) and Red (620-680nm). It has a little bit of Cyan (490-500nm), Green (500-570nm), Yellow (570-590nm), Orange (590-620nm), Far Red (710-780nm) and a tiny bit of Infra Red (780nm). 👻👌
@Herne, Yes, great results! But the light is not dimmable and I prefer Spectrum Control. The lab results from the SolarSystem Series are still the best so far.
@biggreens420, Me neither👻 I took the risk to scrog them one last time during the second week of flowering but normally they grow for 2,5-3 weeks during flowering so we'll see if that will be the case again😂
@JUNGLE_B4RNS, Thank you for your concern! And it would definitively have been too strong for a 60x60x120cm tent, even the 100x100x200cm is on the edge.. a 120x120x200 is probably perfect:)
