Hopefully...... hahaha
FULL UPDATE DUE ON THURSDAY 6th Feb
@PharaohdesGrow,
Have a lot of respect for guys who use liquid nutrients. For me using dry nutrients and the organic ammended soil just feels like an easier way to grow. (Introduce bacteria and fungi to your soil... Maintain a good pH, and just add molasses and maybe some dry ammendments as a top dress if needed to keep your microbial life happy)
With later grows I would like to add some compost teas... And in the end I want my grow method to be as simple and basic as possible.
@autogroR11, Damn well we have two very different kinds of setups minus the lights of course! I live in the EU so I struggle to get anything like Gaia Green, Dr Earth or Happy Frog even though I would love to use dry amendments.
Also, I love the fact you are using organic living soil will be the direction I am going on the next grow.
Currently, I am using a light mix from biobizz and relying on BioGrow, BioBloom and Top Max for all of my nutrients, also with calmag on the side just in case. Very much a feed the plant system vs my future plans of feed the soil!
In the future, I will also try organic living soil and the very expensive DEM dry amendment that is available here. It will bring more consistent harvests and much easier to manage as you water only with water and no bottled nuts!
@PharaohdesGrow,
I am using Roots Organic Green Lite soil. I mixed 1 bag of soil with 5 lbs of nature's living organics autoflower super soil mix. I put 3 gallons of this in the bottom and sides of each 5 gallon pots. And filled the rest with plain roots organic green lite. If I see signs of deficiency later I will top dress with some happy frog dry organic fertilizers. I am using an HLG 260 watt quantum board light. I didn't measure but I'd guess it is 2-3 ft above the canopy right now. I am watering with well water ph'd to 6.5. I used some plant success soluble fungi and later I will also treat once each week with mammoth p. This week I am going to be watering once per week with some molasses mixed into my water.
