This is my first time grow so I am both excited and nervous however, I like what I am seeing so far. No issues, just straight water and 18/6 light schedule.
This week was a little nerve wrecking because, 1) My temperature kept rising to about 82F due to the weather change so I had to purchase a bag of ice and left it in the tent; it brought the temp down but it left about an inch worth of water in the bottom (It did help my humidity though). 2) I didn't see much of a change at first but they all blossomed a little more.
There are 4 plants: 2 are an organic grow, just straight water with a pH of 5.6 and the other 2 are with nutes (2ml of Micro, 4ml of Bloom, mixed in a gallon of water with a pH of 5.6.
The grow has been steady and its making me work on my patience so I'm grateful for this week's grow.
Weeks 4 and 5 are weeks I am not that proud of; it brings proof to the reality of this being my first time grow. I think I began LST too soon and stunted one of my girls, I broke a top completely off after making a second attempt for LST, temperature change is ridiculous so my grow tent's environment has pretty much been unstable and that too is a hindrance to their growth. We had to transplant one of our girls because she was looking close to death (I don't think her roots received enough air circulation) and in addition to this, we had to include CalMag which I was completely skeptical about since I am growing in Soil medium. At this point, I'm just riding it out, giving the girls TLC, and taking notes for my next grow.
