Has anyone looked at the bottom of there seeds to identify male/female seeds? I have been doing research and decided to give it a shot. If anyone has done this please let me know your results.
Yes I have. The fatter rounder nice volcano ended seeds will be healthier but not always female thats a myth. I have experimented with ethylene soak but takes too long to tell. Buy fem seeds
All I can tell you is I followed the same stuff you are talking about last summer and all I got was random selection.. or worse.
Its a 50-50 thing roughly so plant more than you want.

Only possible if you’re a scientist with special tools unfortunately!
You can always send out your seeds and get them checked.
Try picking gender of a bunch of seeds, then send them off to see if you’re right?
