Next round ready to go. Doing some different things this grow so stick around and see if we can beat the 14.5 oz from the last round.
18-6 all through the grow and we have switched nutrients to the Advanced Nutrients range with a custom feed schedule I will share with you.
I planted the seeds direct in Root Riot and then planted them up directly in the 5g pots. Watering so far this week has just been with a spray bottle to keep the soil damp and humidity up.
It's been 5 days and all seeds have popped. Let the game commence!
Peace

Not really a two week update but its been 12 days from planting these seeds direct in the soil and here we are, healthy looking girls that are growing fast.
Soil being used for this grow is Plagron Light Mix and at day 10, I started feeding them a small dose of Sensi Bloom.
Everything so far is looking good considering we are 12 days from putting the seed direct in the soil and I'm looking forward to see these take off over the coming weeks.
I update every Friday so check back :)
Peace - QB
The speed these are growing is incredible! This is the true week 3 update so there appears to be a lot of growth between the last update and this one but even taking that into account, these have really shot up.
I'm very impressed with the genetics here from Barneys. All seeds sprouted perfectly and all the plants are uniform and smell delicious already!
This week I have increased the nutrients, started LST and unfortunately, over-watered the plants. This is because I increased the amount the plants were getting per water and didn't take in to account environmental factors which meant they didn't dry out as quickly as expected. It hasnt caused to much of a problem as I have spotted it in time, decreased the watering amount and adjusted the environment. I think over/under watering is one of the most common problems second only to Ph issues maybe when growing and it really pays to do your homework to spot these symptoms quickly.
I am still blown away by the Telos 8! Such great build quality, low heat output and from my last grow- buds were nice and firm so I can confidently say now that LED is the way to go for grows like mine.
An explosion of growth this week and increased LST. All girls have now shown their white pistils and look like they are kicking into gear ready to start flower this week.
I have increased their feed slightly and will be adding a few additives throughout the coming weeks. I will be sticking with the AN range this grow so I'm very interested to see how that goes as I haven't used them before.
The plants are already starting to give off a lovely skunky aroma so I have a feeling these are going to really stink the place up!
Next week will be defoliation and more LST as these start to go even wilder!

Mad stretch this week!
A little bit of nute burn where I overfed but other than that, things are looking good.
Once the stretch has slowed down I will do some heavy defoliation to get things under control a tad but at the moment I'm just letting them do their thing.
Peace!

What can I say... massive issue with stretch the last week and a half.
The plants are currently 5 foot and I have had to chop at them like crazy to make this worthwhile. I have had to bend them like crazy to keep them under control but they are already at the light which is at the top.
More defoliation and chopping required today and probably throughout the week as I cant see anything below the canopy being worthwhile.
Not very happy but considering the situation in the world with the Coronavirus, it is the least of my concerns.
What a fucking mess!!!!
Stretch beyond control! I have had to add a screen to try and keep them from getting burnt on the light and despite this, they continue to cause me problems!
Some are suffering a little bit of light stress and I am continually keeping them bent under the net to try and keep them under control.
Smell is a lovely earthy smell - nothing too pungent yet. I wish I had more space to grow like I used to but I have to work with what I have and its been a hard adjustment. I think my next grow I will turn to 3 gallon fabrics to try and keep the size down.

I am really struggling to keep these from bursting through the roof of the tent!
I have bent them under the net as much as possible and I am now resorting to super cropping them by pinching them. This is always my last resort when it comes to Auto's but needs must.
Other than these issues everything else is going well. Typical Kush smell coming through and to be honest, I just want this grow finished so I can move on to the next one.
Stay safe, stay indoors and grow!

This is hands down the worst grow I have done. Why... I am not sure really! There has been a lot going on (Coronavirus) so my attention has been elsewhere and I have changed things in this grow like the light schedule and nutrients. I think I dropped the ball during the stretch period and as a result they just went crazy.
Still, there are some nice buds that are starting to put on weight and anything below the canopy is going to be used for cooking edibles. That is my plan at the moment anyway.
I am now just waiting for the finish so I can start my next and last grow of the year.
Stay Safe

Close to finishing this grow now with a couple of feeds left this week then I will be going on just water to finish up in around 14 days.
If you have been following this grow you will know I am not exactly happy with it but looking in the forest there are some tasty nugs so not a complete washout.
Smell is a real nice kush/pine smell that isn't too overpowering and very sweet.
Stay safe, stay at home!

The genetics were solid and all plants were very close in structure and growth. Given a better environment the plants would be great and even though I was unhappy, I still got 9 oz of good bud from 4 plants.
They grow tall!!! This really caused me an issue as I had 4 plants in a small space and had I had one plant, through training, I probably could have yielded the same and had better results using LST.
All in all - good and would grow again. Thanks Barney's Farm.
Just went through the diary, that stretch was intense! You say this was environmental and not a genetic thing - what would you have changed with your environment? Regardless you brought it to harvest so congratulations!
@DrBinoc, Hey. From my point of view I had too many plants in a tight space and due to the current situation - didn't keep on top of things. I should have been prepared and been managing them with more LST but due to them all competing for the light, they all just went vertical very quickly.
If I had had them trained more, light competition shouldn't have been an issue and overall think I would have had a better time with them. I am happy with the end result but the journey was a little stressful as I really had to work hard to keep them away from the light. I did have a few buds that suffered light damage but all in all it was ok.
Thanks for stopping by and hope you are safe in this crazy time.

@Cannabar, Thanks buddy. They really took off and I was panicking but there seems to be some nice buds in there so not a massive issue. Looking to chop next week or maybe this weekend as the tric's nearly at the spot I like.
Looking at your grow, I think mine went crazy vertically as they wanted to spread out wide and putting 4 in a tight space prevented that! Nice pics dude!
The smell is gorgeous - gonna be a nightmare on chop day.
