I'm three days into week one of my first grow ever and everything seems to be going well. I have both seedlings under one 300w Mars Hydro LED (132 true watts, I think). The temperature is a little lower than I'd like it to be but Caramelicious is supposed to be a resilient strain so I'm not too worried. I'll post another update at the end of the week to see how much they've grown. Also, if anyone has any tips/advice about growing this strain or just growing in general please let me know! I want all the info I can get lol. Wish me luck, guys! :)

So today marks the end of week 2. Unfortunately my first seedling seems to have run into a problem and I'm not quite sure why. She has been growing very slowly compared to her sister. I noticed her steam was very loose a couple of days ago and she started to lean so I propped her back up with some extra soil. But now her leaves have started to curl. I think it might be light stress but the other seedling is doing just fine under the LED and they're the same strain under the same conditions so I'm a little confused. I ended up raising the light a couple of inches but that didn't seem to change anything. If you guys have any ideas as to whats wrong with her please let me know. =/ The good news, however, is that the other seedling is looking really healthy.

So week 3 is officially over and everything's kinda been in cruise control. I ended up raising the LED about half a foot which has stopped the light stress the first plant was experiencing. The girls seem a little small for 3 weeks looking at other diaries but the good news is they've been growing faster and faster every day. Plus I still haven't fed them yet, just been giving PH'd water once every 4-5 days. Their side branches have started to develop nicely and they're both putting on some good height. I think in a couple days I'll start LST as they'll be tall enough and I'll give them their first feeding. Looking at the other Caramelicious grows I think I have about two weeks before they start flowering so I'm pretty excited!

Week 4 went pretty well, I think. Both girls seem to be responding well to the LST/leaf tucking that I've been doing to try and make a full canopy. There wasn't much vertical growth this week but they definitely got way bushier. Plus they both popped their first pistils early on this week so they're 100% both female! I also gave them their first feeding but I think it was a bit too early because they got very slight nute burn so I ended up giving them a small flush when I watered again. They're not as big as some other autos at week 4 but this is my first grow ever and they seem pretty healthy so I'm happy. :)

So unfortunately I didn't get the chance to record this week but at the very end of the week they began their flowering/stretching. But being as it was only the last 1 or 2 days of the week that they started flowering I'm counting this as a veg week.

So this week I had some what of a hiccup but I'm pretty sure I managed to correct it. Early on in the week I discovered that my plants had lockout due to high ppm. I ended up testing the runoff water and the ppm was nearly 2000! After flushing both plants it was lowered down to about 400-500. But being as I flushed all the nutes out of the soil the girls started eating their bottom fan leaves. I fed them a couple days ago though and the both seem to be doing well now. They have both put on a good amount of height and the bud sites are developing nicely. I also did a little bit of defoliation throughout the week because of how bushy these girls are. Hopefully it's smooth sailing from here on out.

Theres nothing I love more than logging on and seeing a beautiful little seedling in my feed. She looks like such a gorgeous little baby and I can't wait for the surprises she has in store for us. I'm excited to see where this grow goes and how it turns out. I'm even more excited to see the methods of training and the nutrient regiment you have planned for her. I wish you the best of luck in this grow and I'm ecstatic to see what happens. Best wishes buddy, Cheers.

@Cannabisqueen, I'm in a legal state so I'd definitely consider an outdoor grow in the summertime. I know it would do my electric bill a big favor! But it's winter right now and snows on the ground so unfortunately not anytime soon. If I do decide to to an outdoor grow this summer I'll definitely let you know! That's a completely different ballgame compared to indoor from what I understand.

Every plants are differents. This is why you get differents phenotypes from the same genotype, ruffly said differents plants from the same strain.

@FullArius,no , that plant can’t support the light like the other one ☝️

@JUNGLE_B4RNS, So you think the leaf curling is just her phenotype and not anything wrong with her?

Looking great so far! She's a good strain, grows like a beast. Keeping it simple on the first run is a solid plan, and honestly she goes nuts even without training. Best of luck with your first grow. 😃
