03/05/2020 This is copied and pasted from KOS SEEDS page. Description The (paternal P1) father is the legendary Cherry Hemmingway male. A hybrid of a landrace Bhutan, and Rez Dog’s Firecracker (Williams Wonder x NYC Diesel). The female KOS’s own Skyanchor (Bogglegum x PSI) a cross using a prime selected male of BOG’s Bogglegum. A bad ass old-school hybrid made using a Northern Lights #5 (real deal) crossed to a Bubblegum (real deal). The female used to make the Skyanchor was my clone only PSI (Purple Salem Indica) that I was given by my good friend Keith, in Salem, OR, USA. Some kind of crazy old Purple Kush variant; potency is not only severe with this baby, but supernaturally intense. The Cherry Hemmy is well known by me to relate large yields and incredible vigor along with increased resin production, and also usually relates cream soda, vanilla, or cherry-ish terpenes, making exotic and addictive combinations when used as part of any hybrid. So, the Red Sky yields well—very well. I have been dying to grow these for awhile now,and finally got the chance loving the possible flavor profiles the Rev says it does not give him the munchies or red eyes. And it is energetic if smoked in moderation. Hope it gets me high like the NL#5 did way back when. Just presoaked over night and put in paper towel, next morning all 5 had cracked their seed casing and little tails were sticking out put 2 biggest in peat pellets and others tomorrow morning 03/11/2020 All 5 seeds have germinated, 4 in soil, (1 hydro for my own testing.) I will post pics as soon as possible waiting on codytledons to open, then I scope out the leaves and make notes on which ones have more leaf hairs, as it has been suggested that their closly related to trichomes, and more resin. Ps. No significant differences between the 5 seedling codytledons all look like their wearing fur coats lol. 03/13/2020 We got 5 for 5 to germinate! So here we go soil for 4 and 1 to hydro. They were very small seeds and frankly thought germ rate would suffer but all are alive and well but also very small seedlings smallest I have ever seen! Looking healthy if you can tell from the photos. 03/20/2020 7days old, four are in soil and one in hydro 4 are very similar, but #5 has fat chunkier leaves can't wait to see how she develops compared to the other four.will give 7more days and start veg cycle 18 hours of light. Currently at 16 hours of light for seedling stage happy growing 🙏 03/24/2020 #5 is having stem issue give her some support see how she does. I hope she grows out of this flimsyness🙏 as she is different than the other four, it would be interesting to see them grown together, and how they may respond to training differently

04/03/2020 All are doing well. #5 (Male) has gotten a lot more sturdy, all other will be Given numbers when Repotted to final pots. Today is day 21 and will be first real week of veg at 18-6 will veg until mature enough to flower, 55 days maybe?, that will give me time figure out how many males and females I got to work with. I will most likely pollinate a branch of each female to try and isolate some cherry vanilla terps mmm! Ps. As soon as they are big enough I will get one clone of each female and male. (Future Breeding ideas). And save to compare with the next 5 beans out of my 10 pack. I'm dreaming of cherry cheese cake flavor, or cherry lifesaver.

04/09/2020 Day # 21 all very well!, #5 weak stem? No more! she turned into biggest plant! Her and #2, need a pot up,#4 had a rough week she got knocked over twice by me!😒,#3 seems like a runt, but looking healthy non the less. #1 doing well in final pot, #2,and #5 will be reppoted today, #4 next week if roots are there.🙏 Ps. These genetics were grown organic TLO Style, so #3 will be interesting I think.😎 Stay Home and Grow! See you in 7days. No training this week but I will be looking for early pre -flower at nodes, hopefully id them early! Under bright blue lights I can usually see mini pre flower Male or female..learned that trick from The Rev Skunk magazine. Article on finding a True Male plant, works both ways. 04/13/2020 It is day number 25 and time to start looking for early pre flower, I will continue this daily for the next week and hopefully get them labeled for clone's to grow out. Keep nice mother for future clones. And father plant too.

04/18/2020 #5 is growing fast, as you can see in pic of the roots. #1 getting tall,#2,#4, will repot when roots come out of drainage holes. I believe #5is a male but no signs of sex yet just fast and large growth lead me to believe that. #1 seems sativa leaning, #2,#3,#4, are on the smaller side very tight internodal spacing. I also applied some egg shell and banana peel tea, (not #3 hydro 1/2 strength nutes) #5 loved it all the other plants got a little burned, tea batch to strong! Should have diluted more😒. All seem to be recovering well🙏 04/19/2020 Reppot #2 today #4 still in waiting. 04/23/2020 #4 potted up And #3 got her first full strength feeding with advanced nutrients GMB, 4 ml. per liter hope she likes it we see next week🙏

04/26/2020 I'am going to enjoy this run, plants have lots of little things that are different from the other plants. #1, I believe to be sativa influenced, look at those long leaves! And strange looking compared to what is usual these days. maybe some landrace influence? God I hope so! Male or female I feel it will be a keeper. #2 considering her rough begining (I knocked her over and had to reppot twice in one week. She is doing well, she is looking Like an indica hybrid. #3 much the same as 2,4,5 starting to grow faster she likes her nutes. #4 slightly different from others her leaf tips are more rounded out and remind me of spearmint leaves #5 looking like bigger version of #2,#3 (male?) We will see.

05/02/2020 Hi, this update is 2 days early, the first time outside for the 🙏(girls)🙏 will put outside over night and let them awake in natural Sun light. Still no signs of sex yet but I'm loving #1 it's my freak of unique as I've never seen one like it.... I'am used to Indica and hybrids. It almost looks like it topped itself but it didn't. #2 still a little on the smaller side, as is #4 #3 looking like she has adapted well, and #5 is growing fast and is beautiful hope she is a b girl🙏. She is very lush green and developing 9 fingered leaves, all others plants are 5-7 finger leaves a sativa trait? Definatly got some decent possibilities with the pheno types

04/11/2020 #1 getting nice new growth #2 looking freaked out! (#3 in hydro) #4 small but healthy #5 is the most vigorous, probably a male but who knows the breeder says not to flower before 55 days and we are on day 61/ so #3 will get changed to 11.5-12.5 light/dark schedule as (recommend by breeder) at lights out tonight. Pray for female flowers ! Next week.

05/25/2020 All are growing well, but #2 still is weird. I might reppot and check the PH. She is most finicky plant of the 5. Although she did put on 8.5 " of growth the best out of all the girls this week! #1 grew 7" up to 17" #2 wow ! 8.5" up to 20"! # 4 grew 5" up to 12" # 5 grew 6" up to 23" and topped her. Topped all this week, so super cropping will begin next week.got to keep them low and wide. Mid week update #4 in hydro is a male, I will harvest his pollen and hit a branch on each female plant . Also #2 maybe a male.... Each plant is getting .5 gallon per day, hand watering. I will make video of pollen collection.

06/02/2020 Gonna feed them today 1tbls of blood meal. I snapped a branch on #2 (see video) her stems, I don't like break to easy so I will give some micro nutrients to help stems from breaking. Unless she is the HOLY GRAIL. I will cull her clone. All others handed super cropping well. 🙏 #4 in hydro is in it's own diary called Small Batch Seed making some F1 #1 showed her sex today, clones well took cut on 05/20/2020 is rooting well outside in coco coir, in humidity dome just cut and scrape the stem, once rooted I cut off yellowing leaves i hope her smoke is as good as she looks. 5 days into week 10 and #2, and #4 are male so indoors they go for pollen collection. Will dust one bud of each female with each male and hunt for what I want. Also see what each passes on in the cross.

06/16/2020 Did some defoiliating, and fed Espoma Fruit and flower 9-4-3 (3 tbls top dressed) help to aid in the transition from veg to flowering, after 21st days get shorter but slowly. Might do light deprivation to induce an early harvest. I just posted a video of Red Sky #3, brother of Red Sky #1 One branch will get dusted on #1 Good news #1, clones very well with minimal effort stuck in potting mix which has 5-1-1 starter fertilizer plus myco, and tricoderma. After she settles in I will switch to top dressing with Espoma Fruit and flower 4-9-3 plus myco have 3 good clones to work with. Oh yeah apparently I put 4-9-3 in transplant pot so I guess it means nutes total is 9-10-4 maybe a mid to late top dress to finish but we see what happens!. The 5-1-1last about 6 weeks. And the 4-9-3 will last 3-4 weeks at best We see how she is doing in a month. Then I'll know better. From here on out this diary is all about my freaky princess!👍 Red Sky #1 she is getting to tall so I took clones to bring her down to size I will keep one mother plant, and monster crop the rest! Diary coming soon!

The first clone I took I put under 24 hour light (on purpose)sent out male flower at several nodes (collecting for Feminized project) So no light stress, unless you need to!

08/09/2020/ start of week 3 flowering, I think I'm seeing P deficiency? Watered her with LAB to see if it helps going to put a couple spikes of 4-9-3 around the outer rim, and water in with more LAB to get the microbial army mobilized.🙏

08/16/2020 She seems to be recovering well I think she was hungry. So fert. (4-9-3) spikes and LAB worked well together. Affected leaves are fading, new growth looks good. And not a spot of PW any where! We are getting some light rain throughout the day but still could use more rain

09/16/2020 Will be 72 days at end of the week. Should be done soon. Will begin flush at end of week and watch her trich's. 09/20/2020 76 days and milky trichomes are abundant still clear here and there but no any amber at all will monitor daily till done. This strain will ripen mid to late September in my area so I'm happy with that. 😊😊😊😊😊😊 She be ready to smoke for the Holiday season! Keeping her going in a Perpetual grow smoking my indoor cut as I write can't wait to see how they compare to mother nature 's outdoor version.

09/29/2020 Washing off all the nasty dust, pollen, and such that has accumulated over her long veg and flower period. She is 72.1 grams wet I guess she should dry out to around 18-22 grams. Which is fine as this was a tester to see if I will do again. I am keeping a clone till I grow a few dozen more seeds, to see different phenotype/genotype. It will take some time but I am hunting for a UNICORN before I will stop! 🙏 lol Good candidate for a grafting project Will update the rest of the report in a couple weeks to let dry out and cure some before testing. I chose this strain because it is said to not make me hungry and no red eyes but I will let you know soon.🙏 10/07/2020 She's dry and jarred up final weight 21.2 grams. Smell of hay and sugar should improve over next couple weeks. Preliminary smoke report, very smooth not much taste but feel it right away soon after first hit last 3.5 hrs. So just waiting on the cure for full flavor report.
