Last week was a good week.
The plant is in pre-flower (stretch) mode. It grew a whopping 15cm. That's about double its size in one week!
The weather was not great. A few days where it could be set outside for half a day, but most of the time it was inside in my closed veranda (I moved it there a couple of weeks ago).
I want to leave it outside overnight as well, but it's still 8 degrees outside at night. So I still take it inside every evening on days I could put it outside.
I also gave a bit more nutrients this week due to me reading many posts of plants having some kind of deficiency during pre-flower.
The smell is a bit stronger than last week, but still mild (as far as I can tell from my first grow lol).
My wife makes a remark now and then that parts of the house are smelling like weed. But I can manage her :-D.
Looks nice mate. I’m growing a quick one as well, almost at week 3. Same as you moving her inside at night and outside during the day. Where are you based ? Let’s hope togheter its been fun anyway! G luck
hey man. sorry to hear u got such a small yield . been following your journey since about week 9 because your plant looks a lot like mine . i was thinking u will get at least 50 grams from your baby when i saw how big it was in week 13 ... well hope next grow will be better . peace
@@rawmeat, My biggest mistake was not checking my plant well enough each week. I was checking it, but not thorougly enough. If I didn't have to throw out buds because of aphids and the ones which were not ready I would have at least 50% more yield, maybe more. I also trimmed my buds very flush (the one in the picture is one of the least flush trimmed buds I have) which cause the yield to be a bit less.
All in all I'm still happy and preparing for my next grow.
@blackrain, Thanks, man. I am a bit disappointed in myself for not spotting the aphids earlier because it could have bine better. But when I started this grow, my goal was to not fail and learn stuff, so mission complete. I'm preparing my next grow and plan to be a bit stricter with regards to nutrients, water and checking the plant. Also trying some different strains.
Hi Fetanq, the white dots on your leaves & the hairs in your flowers as shown in your flowers at the top of your plant photo will indicate when it is time to harvest, you will need to seem them up close so a magnifying glass or similar will be handy, the plant does not always all ripen at the same time so can be done in stages if preferred. Lots of good info on the Growweedeasy website, the LST technique will help you get sun to your lower buds on your next grow, too late for this one. Looking Good though!
Hello!
I am growing Quick One outdoor as well and I know that an universal fertiliser is not the best choice for the flowering stage!
Try looking for a fertiliser with higher PK with respect to N.
Good Luck!!
Hello, friend!
Your plant looks awesome!
Don't worry for the pale leaves, because it's completely normal: mine as well is getting fan leaves yellow a lot!
P.S. You've said that you've just stopped feeding her, tough I still see 2 ml/l of nutrient: I think you'd do better if you stop completely, especially given that its universal fertiliser with a equal NPK ratio!
Greetings from Russia! Your plants look great! Keep developing in the same spirit! If you are interested in following the adventures of weed in Russia, subscribe to my diary
