Papaya Coco Grow

Put 2 seeds in jiffy pucks in an incubator on seedling mat, and one popped. Transferred to small coco pot and in the veg tent under the cfls propped up on some pots cos she was stretching a bit. Took dome off when first real leaves showed, took it like a champ. So far so good.

Slow growth, and the stem is weak so I added support and a fan to move the leaves to encourage stronger stem. At the end of the week I repotted, was probably a bit too soon only a few roots showing around the pot but YOLO. Started giving early veg nutes.

I started LST to bring the stem over the pot, stem is a bit wobbly so supported with a thick garden tie. Plant seems healthy with lots of green growth. Moving up to mid veg nutes.

She growing nicely. I put another pipe cleaner support pulling in the opposite direction to keep it straight. Adjusting the other pipe cleaner as the top grows longer. She taking it like a champ

Nothing much was happening but as soon as she got on the late veg nutes she exploded. Yes I use two battery powered watering timer pumps. Not powerful but each one can water about 3 small plants. My new flower tent hasn't arrived so she will be stuck in veg a few more weeks and I will delay up potting to the final 5 gal pot.

She growing well, so well in fact I have started to HST the off shoot branches to keep the grow low. They are nice and green still so easy to HST and take to it well. It's getting ready to flip but waiting on my new tent...so she will just have to keep growing taking over my veg cabinet

Well my new tent arrived, so I repotted her and put her in the new VIP room. Starting to LST branches out. Not sure when to flip, I could fill the tent more. So seeing how temps are going in the tent I get afternoon spikes after the lights come on a little hot for my liking. So I will move back lights on by a few hours. I am trying to not use the air conditioner until summer really gets going, so I am piping out the exhaust through the window.
