When I transplanted them I watered with half strength rhizo at 6.5ph using purified water, I havnt grown in over 2 years kinda forgot how coco is with cal mag especially using ro water, within a day the were not looking good, leaves were bear clawing and turning colors and some leaves starting to deform, I panicked and bought some cali magic and flushed them with ro water and normal strength calimagic and 2 days later starting showing signs of strong normal growth, it has been about 4 days now since and they seem to be snapping back, wish I had pictures of before they did not look good, also my setup is a mars hydro 3x3 tent with vivosun 315w cmh with Phillip's 315w green power 3100k bulb, a vivosun 6 inch variable speed controlled 390 cfm inline fan hooked up to a willhi temp controller and a vivosun 6 inch clip fan for circulation, I also have a willhi humidity controller that gets used on lights out, I switch inline fan from temp controller to humidity controller, as humidity gets up to 70+ at lights off without inline fan controller setup, I am also using 7 gal smart pots and using only canna coco, and for ph and ppm I have the growers tool box from blue lab with ph and ppm pens, the clones are gg#4 from dark heart nursery, I have 2 tents running at the moment, third tent will be up as soon as I can find another strain from dark heart that I like that's in stock around me, hoping for gmo cookies, wedding cake, purple punch or vanilla frosting
So plants are definitely looking better, I just transplanted the strawberry bannana from DHN about 3 days ago, starting to see signs of new growth, I will be fimming gg#4 tonight, update, so I fimmed both gg#4's and had great results, plants are really starting to take off
Sry for long delay in posting, things went a little crazy after covid19 hit hard, but everything is looking good gg4 #1and 2 are 1 day away from starting week 4 of flower and strawberry banana is 1week 5 days into flower
This is the beginning of week 7 as of today, I'm going to try and let the gg#4 go for the whole 9 weeks, the strawberry banana will be starting week 6 in 2 days
This is the end of week 8 for both gorilla glue #4 plants, strawberry banana will finish week 7 this tue, I'm going to let gg#4 s go until this coming sun,the strawberry banana has around 1 1/2 to 2 weeks left, I think these 315w cmh are amazing, if u go with cheap cmh setups it's fine just make sure u don't skimp on bulb, Phillip's 3100k is what I'm using, nugs are deff not fluffy or larfy at all, not even a little, and the trich and terpenes production are through the roof, my entire house and yard reek, when I take my five gallon to fill water , as soon as I take off the lid the air trapped inside from my grow room escapes and smells like I just opened a jar of some straight gas
@Scarredskull, fimmed is a topping method, it's used to turn a traditional christmas tree like canopy to a more open even flat canopy, I would definitely recommend fimming, google fimming, lots of google how to videos, as for ph I've been keeping it at 6.2 entire grow cycle, but that's because I use canna coco, I would go with the ph level the nutreint company u use suggests somewere between 6 and 7 ph I would assume
