Just added 5-1-1 fish fertilizer, one table spoon ish in a 17 ounce bottle? 10 fl ounces in 5.5 gallon pot and 7 in the other one. Does that seem alright ?

It seems like a pretty heavy dose for the plants being in pots, but organic fertilizers like the fish are usually a lot more forgiving than chemical fertilizers. Just keep an eye on the color of your leaves. If they get really dark green and the tips start to brown then you will need to back off the nitrogen. Good luck with your grow!

Is this leaf septoria? The bottom leaves are mostly infected. It has been raining heavily and some fan leaves were touching the bark on the pot. Thanks for any help!

This is definitely not leaf septoria. Some kind of bugs are munching on your leaves. I would sprinkle some diatomaceous earth around the plant and that will stop most insects. You can also spray some permethrin around the plants also but I wouldn't spray it directly on the plants. Good luck getting rid of the bugs!

Hey just seeing if anyone can tell what this is, or what type of tiny bug this is, it’s very small and black but there are spiders and a bunch of other insects always around and on the plants, preciate it!!

Hi @Dico29 they seem to me to be spider mite patches, you should spray the plant with neem oil or cinnamon extract as soon as possible. planting outdoors requires some prevention, you have several products on the insect prevention market to apply to the plant and avoid pests. good luck mate 👍

Hey y’all can anyone tell me if it’s smart to start adding more potassium and phosphorus or let it go for a while? Thanks

Hi @Dico29 yes you can start applying 1/3 of the dose recommended by the manufacturer and every 5 days you will increase the dose. Good luck mate

Ok I am trying to use what I have readily available and was wondering if anyone has fermented banana and orange peels for this stage in flower and applied it in a foliar spray? Thanks

Hi @Dico29 I did it once. A good way to prepare this potassium-rich fertilizer tea is to boil 3 banana peels in 1 liter of water, adding a little sugar. Once the mixture is cold, we remove the banana peels and use the resulting liquid to water our marijuana. This tea is applied during the last six weeks of flowering. With this you will get up to 20% more fattening in your buds. You can also do it using honey, or sugar cane molasses. Good luck mate 👍

Hey one of the colas was broken this morning off the 5.5 gallon, I cut part of the cell wall off the bottom and slapped root hormone on it and this is it now... any ideas on if this will work or is it done. Wasn’t broken for too long I imagine still was healthy when I found it

As long as the plant is healthy you have a decent chance of that branch rooting. if you plan to veg that branch out more and make a new plant out of it I would cut off the bud sites and set it under 18/6 lighting so that it can root and reveg. if you just plan on flowering it as it is, then once it roots it should continue to flower shortly after. it might take longer for it to continue flowering due to the stress of rebooting. now because the plant was flowering when this happened it does lower the viability of it rooting a little but not enough to really worry about. I would remove a few of the bigger fan leaves to make sure it doesn't focus too much energy on growing while it is trying to root. it should root in 7-14 days but may take longer as well. as long as the cutting looks healthy keep at it and it should root eventually. if it starts looking really sad then it may be done for. make sure to mist the leaves daily and if you can keep it under some sort of humidity dome that will help tremendously.

Just wondering, I had been using neem oil, and it looks like it’s going to rain for the next ten days almost... does neem oil last long in wet conditions if applied while my plants dry? Should I worry about botrytis/fungi during this time?

That constant rain should definitely wash the neem away, reapply neem every 7-10 days until they start glowerimg then i would stop the neem (the buds will start soaking up the neem and burn your hairs, might get bud rot if the flower doesnt dry out fast enough). Also apply neem in late afternoon or evening so the sun doesnt cook the oil into your leaves and damage/burn them. As for that 10 day straight rain, try and get them out of the direct rain like under a big tree or against a house or shed so that the roots aren't getting soaked to death. You should be okay during the veg stage with the rain but once they start getting big flowers, rain is your enemy so try and keep them dry at that stage.

So it is still raining and the fan leaves look like the cell wall is breaking down, as if my finger is slightly able to be seen through the leaf. It’s also ripped tears in my fan leaves, would a tarp(transparent)work to help? Is humidity more of the problem? Thanks

A cover would be ideal. A little light rain ain't much but oversoaking and a hard downpour can wreck your poor girls. Cheers and happy growing!

If its bud rot you need to remove all infected areas. If its bud rot the bud will tear apart easily. You also need to remove anything that was close to infected buds , discard actual buds with rot. Sorry, sucks...

Nice little gorilla op. you have happening. Outdoor grows are all pest prevention... including deer, rabbits, mice, ect. A little fence around your baby may save her from becoming a meal for some forest critters. Just my 2 cents. Sending positive vibes on a successful harvest.

The conversion factor is 1 tbls x (10×[5+1+1])÷0.256=273ppm/gal but u have 16oz so 273x8 ppm(8 16ozers in a gal). Thats a lot of ppm but most is not readily available if organic it will say it on the back.
