So this Jedi Kush from Cali Connection is specked to have an 8 to 9 week flowering time period - the bud formation is different on each plant, one plant the buds are tightly grouped and chunky fat, the other plant's buds, are more loosely spaced, but they look like they are filling in.

Thursday 07.16.20 Day 4 of Week 7 Flower - Watered plants today with adjusted nutrient regiment - defoliated a few leaves to expose buds a bit more - this afternoon, going to clean them up more, do not understand why the buds are not getting fatter - will just hope that the next few weeks will make a difference.

Saturday 07.18.20 Day 6 of Week 7 Flower / I decided that I would add a picture of another Jedi Kush - it has vegged for 5 weeks and has about 2 weeks under 12/12 growing next to the other kush if you remember about 3 weeks ago one of my plants hermed and I am afraid these buds were pollinated, and that's why they aren't getting fattened up - I am tossing this other plant into the tent to try ad salvage this diary she is just perfect! I am considering pulling the cord on the other 2 plants but will wait another week first.

I'm growing two mainlined plants (nebula version), it was my first time with every kind of LST HST and so on..
If you check my diary you can say how the difference between a more sativa feno and a more indica shows up once in bloom, I recommend to choose a strong indica dominant.
Best of luck for your mainline, it is definitely worth it if you have little space ππ»π

Nobody01 is the correct answer.. 950-1000 somewhere around their depending on setup and airflow is where they love the best... Your using Cree cobs those are powerful lights and they are not panels... Those using panels are not giving sound information.. Panels can almost be run on top of plants 12" depending on ppfd but yes aim for around 1000 without co2 maybe push to 1250-1400 but much more and you will definitely need Co2. As you can read this isn't an exact science unless you use ppfd, C02 meters and the whole nine yards but you get the idea of what me and Nobody01 are trying to get at. 24" inches is a good height for your lights :)

From what I've read around here, a fair few people are of the opinion that strong genetics are unaffected by small light leaks, it makes sense to an extent when people grow outside and there is moonlight and other light that would interfere in the perfect darkness
If this gives you a little reassurance perhaps, my tent is a cheaper one too and it ain't perfect, I'll know more if this is true about strong genetics after this second grow finishes π

@@HiddenColorado, Thanks for taking the time to reply - at this point in my growth with a new light I have them set that when the plants stretch they will (I Hope) be in that sweet spot. Only time will tell, I know that when I use my Mars T-1000 I can easily get to 12 to 14 inches from the plant - the PAR is a lot less. Again thanks for providing insight and its always welcome!

@@HiddenColorado, I appreciate your feedback can you elaborate a bit more on why the light needs to be closer, I need to update my post as I have the lights at 24 inches currently at 12 inches I feel this light will fry the plants - I have posted a picture of the PPFD for this light. I am open to your thoughts and again I totally appreciate any help you can offer.

Looking good, May the 4th be with you and your grow! after topping, give her at least 3-4 weeks before switching in flowering. A bigger pot for a bigger yield as well

@@occultgreen420, Thanks for stopping by, I have 7-gallon pots, amended and cooking as we speak, yes once I do the last topping I plan to let the plant grow out and ensure I have the 8 colas properly trained and tied then will drop them into flower, I purchased a new 480 Watt Light w/ LM301H 3500K+660NM+UV+IR the UV and IR on separate switches, going to try the IR during the first week to 10 days to help with bud growth, and then the UV last week to 10 days to help create higher THC will post a picture up in my diary - truly excited about this light, as you can tell I am very excited!

Thanks, @CatnipGrower, Yea the first 4 lants did not react well to that training, the 5th and last of my Jedi just loved a bit of topping and LST and did great, in the future, I will grow this again the same way, and blow up my tent!
