Hey guys this is my first indoor grow.
I started off using a comercial brand of universal potting soil and I added some organic horse fertilizer.
I put them under a 250w HPS agrolite gro and flo lamp.
Everything was doing great so far.
So I started having some problems. It looked like a nitrogen issue relating to improper ph values.
I decided to change the substrate to a more appropriate brand (compo sana) and so I did a very careful transplant.
I'm starting to think there is a potassium issue. Growth is not as much as to be expected and some of the older leaves are getting a few brown spots and start to die wrinkle and die.
My water comes from a well and ph is around 7.5. I started to acidify it with some vinegar.
No noticeable change in height growth but I do see those buds fattening up.
I bought some biobizz nutrients this week and gave it some bio bloom and top max.
I noticed after a couple days that the tips were curling up and there were more rust spots on the leaves.
I measured soil ph and it was around 7 and excess water was around 6.5.
The last week i've been giving it water corrected with vinegar to achieve ph 6.
I did a small flush just in case it's excess phosphorous, let's see how it goes.
What do you guys think?
Well it was a tough week. It started ok,with some good flowering and bud growth but going in the middle of the week and I had the impression that all my plants needed a little more nutrients so I decided to give some more top max and added some silica, bad idea!
It increased the ph too much and she just stopped growing and a lot of yellow rusty leaves appeared.
I decided to flush her with some low ph water with top max. Gonna see how it turns out, if she doesnt bounce back i'll just harvest her.
This lady here has had and interesting development, after completely stopping to flower, she just got back to it and hasn't stopped still, no nutes just plain water for the last couple weeks.
I did some mistakes during the grow and didn't really get to see the true potential of this strain. Overall it gave some nice buds despite all the troubles. The high is very lucid and easy to enjoy.
