Got a pretty good success rate popping the TK-m10 , (PUC) pineapple upside down cake and caramel cream X PUC seeds. The creme brulee, super sour orange, skycuddler #2, and citrix master kush are moms from seeds I cracked earlier on.

Started using veg nutes instead of just clonex. They got mycorrhizae and beneficial bacillus dusted on their roots when got transplanted a couple weeks ago. Also got their first Actively aerated compost with fresh worm castings tea last week. .

Moved the Tk-m10 , pineapple upside down cake and caramel cream X pineapple upside down cake seedlings into the veg tent under the new blackdog phytomax 2 400s. The creme brulee, super sour orange, sky cuddler kush #2, and citrix master kush are the bigger plants.

Noticeably more vigor and more compact internodal spacing vegging under the 2 blackdog phytomax 2 400s. Compared to the florescent T5. Started pulling males out of the veg tent as soon as we could tell the sex.

Got the new optic led slim 600 so I decided to try a quick side by side in veg against the blackdog phytomax2 400. Right away the light footprint on the slim600( even dimmed to 75%) seems to cover more of the 4x4 than the BD400.

the light footprint on the slim600 seems to cover more of the 4x4 than the BD400. The light fixture is almost 4x4 itself. Having 2760 leds spread out like that seems to light the lower branches better. I'm already a fan of the fixture it is keeping up with the blackdog(its not even turned to 100% yet.)

Found some thrips on the bottom leaves. Picked up some safer soap spray. It seems to be working.

Found some thrips! I bought some spray called safer soap, it has worked pretty good in only a couple sprays. Still had some thrips lingering can anyone recommend a good spray I could use around living soil without hurting my soil biology?

Hi microbe_militia! The first thing is to get rid of thrips. A potassium soap solution to apply foliarly to the plants works, or any other recipe that kills thrips and their larvae. You have to aply it to the leaves, to the steems and a little to the soil (spraying). Then you have to prevent them from appearing again, for this you can use neem oil spray, a spray of garlic tea, or spread garlic on the ground, the thrips dont like the smell. You should also lower the temperature and/or humidity of the environment, because it is promoting the ideal environment for those insects. These are my recommendations, I hope it works. Saludos!😃

Vegging a little longer while I finish mixing the living soil for them in the flower room and setting up the lights in the flower room. Those are 200 gallon smart pots filled a little over half full of custom

First week of flower went pretty well. Defoliated and took clones. Went from vegging them with 2 gavitas dimmed down to 70% to 4 gavitas dimmed to 80%. have been slowly turning them up. Going to add the co2 system next week and try to go 100%
