This is the other half of a set of seeds I won from a contest last year. Its about a week or so behind the other girl, which is an indica based Strawberry Nuggets. This is a more sativa based variety.
Repotted this girl into her final 5 gallon fabric container on April 7, and started getting her acclimated to sunshine for a couple hours per day.

I was moving this girl in and out of my tent because we had some showers and she was still pretty fragile, but she's outdoor for good today at the one week mark. It's supposed to warm up nice next week.

Starting to veg nicely. She appears to be catching up quickly to the other outdoor girls, except her stalk is only half the diameter of the other girls so far.

Thankfully mother nature turned up the temperature switch this week. Earth Day... maybe that did it.
Got myself a new bike this week... an E-bike... and the next day I set out on an expedition around a lake in my local park that I would never have been able to manage on my old bike. Technically mountain biking territory, and I climbed 1300 feet and had a freaking ball on a 15 mile ride -starting and ending at home. New toy. Me likes it.
Cosmic Queen is moving along nicely. Need to make a decision in the morning whether I can get in there and top her or just let her be.
April 25 > don't think I can call this a clean top by any stretch.

The weather has turned quite nice, with a high in the low 70's and the fog laying off a bit. Really messy job on the FIM last week it looks like now that she's starting to grow back. That will be the only topping as she's probably gonna be flowering by next week.

I really think the FIM job I did on this girl didn't go so well. It ranks highly in the MISSED category - and I think I probably waited too long to make the cut, maybe by a few days to a week. Her Strawberry Nuggets sister survived topping and really bushed out, but that might be more expected. This girl is more sativa-based and she seems to show a more natural larger inter-nodal spacing.

Boy I really feel I butchered my attempt at topping this plant, it left behind a few feeble looking fan leaves that I had to remove because I didn't like the way they were looking at me. 😒
I suspect I really waited too long, but I'm unaccustomed to how fast autoflowers start flowering. Beyond that, she's the most spindly of the girls out on the patio, which are mostly bushed out now - but she's the only real sativa in this group.

This baby has pretty much ground to a halt with the vertical growth, growing about an inch last week. I expect her to start putting on some weight soon. We're about to enter a hot spell with about 4 days forecast to be in the high 80's or low 90's in the next week, so we' see how she stands up to some heat. We're probably a week or two away from flushing.

This girl has stopped growing vertically and is starting to fatten up a bit. Did a little pruning of fan leaves this afternoon before pictures. Just coming out of a really hot 4 day spell in the 90's. This girl doesn't drink as much as her Mephisto cousin Strawberry Nuggets - that girl drinks like a fish. This girl gets to feed a bit longer and will be flushed in about a week and a half.

So after checking the trichomes on this girl I decided to advance her schedule a few days and flush her today instead of next Monday. She's really started fattening up in the last few days. We've managed to squeek in another heat wave this week with about 4 days in the 90's. I'll probably harvest her early next week.

Here's a case where I don't think I did a very good job when I topped her... with two flaws - I probably was at least a week late - and I don't like the cut that I made - which I called a FIM. Another thing I think I might have done wrong with this girl is I probably kept her too wet. Her sister on the patio (Strawberry Nuggets) drank like a fish - she was constantly dry, and this threw me off a bit.
This is one reason I like using 5 gallon containers that are easy to lift and gauge how much the plant is drinking. This girl I think got stunted a bit after I topped her... and I don't think I ever got her to dry out after that either. This is in spite of two 4-day hot spells with temps pushing 90 F. I like the plant to dry out almost completely between waterings/feedings - usually easy in summertime.
A nice yield all the same. I'll let her hang probably less than a week based on how my other recently harvested plants came out.
June 18 after trim >> Ended up with a roughly 50-50 split... 35 grams of buds and 39 grams of trim.
