Noticing what looks like the beginnings of a bit of cal and mag deficiency.
Upped cal and mag slightly this week to see if any difference over the week.
Updates for the week:
Got my Flora Flex gear in the mail this week and started Setting up a new auto drip system for the garden.
Also sent some leaf samples in for sex testing and waiting for results this week.
Once males are culled, will will be transplanting the females into 3 gal. over the weekend
culled the males from the garden after getting my sex test results back.
and selected my 4 keepers for the run.
2 - Rainbow pie (Zkittles x Grand Blueberry Pie)
1 - Wedding Cake (Triangle Kush x Animal Mints)
1 - Galactic Gas (Black Cherry Soda x G13)
Trained the girls down and started to even out a nice flat canopy.
Threw a scrog net on this run to help manage the canopy.
Will let them recover form the training and then will defoliate and flip into flower in the next week or two.
Some aromas are really starting to come through.
Some real gassy funk across the strains with subtle nuances form more skunky to more fruity.
.
They bounced right back after all the LST training, topping, and scrogging.
Giving them a few more days to recover and continue filling out the space then will defoliate and flip into flower.
So far so good!
Flipped into flower at end of week 6,
Unfortunately, Was out of town for the weekend and ran into a few humidity/heat problems along with some PH fluctuations.
but the girls hung in there are and are doing much much better since I have gotten back.
They are still praying and busting through the trellis though.
bud site starting to form across the canopy.
Did some clean up down on the skirt as well to get some air moving through their legs.
Been running into a few humidity issues in last couple weeks, as it's been rainy out and this room gets humid quick.
my Dehumidifier has been getting a work-out but just fills way too quickly.
Running into a little bit of clawing across the canopy.
This is my first time running the Jacks 3-2-1 formula, so may need to make note and adjust for next run.
Other than that everything is looking fantastic and environment is dialed back in.
They are praying up to the light most of the day and are blowing up during the stretch.
can see some beautiful buds forming and trichomes beginning to pop up throughout the bud sites.
Things are moving along in flower.
Really pleased how these Rainbow Pie girls are really bulking up.
They all seem to be praying up to the light and happy.
the wedding cake pheno ended up being a real stretcher.
She was the shortest plant before flipping into flower.
Really happy with how the Rainbow pies are bulking up.
Aromas range from very gassy on one pheno to very fruity in another.
Despite the different dominant aromas both phenos are similar
in structure, trichome development, and flower size.
Loving both equally.
This particular wedding cake pheno is a bit delayed
in it's trichome development and doesn't have as
strong of an aroma yet, but I have a feeling she is gonna surprise me.
I have a feeling that in the next few weeks she is gonna bulk up
and bring on some frost.
The Black cherry Soda x G13 in the back has a very nice structure,
it's been healthy and hearty. nice node spacing and the aromas
developing are like funky, gassy, coffee breath with a spicy sweet undertone.
Really excited to see how this bulks in the next few weeks.
Things are moving along.
Just maintaining the environment, dropped the humidity and temps down. as these flowers bulk and starting to ripen up.
Dropped temps to 74 during day and 68 during night and keeping humidity around 48%
The aromas are developing and become very concentrated and more complex.
Garden is looking beautiful this week.
pretty happy about all the different expressions showing.
Wedding Cake:
Finally gaining it's strong aromas and trichomes as it continues to bulk.
It unexpectedly is the star in their at the moment. Massive Nugs.
Aromas are sweet, cakey, vanilla with an earth funky finish.
Galactic Gas: (Black Cherry Soda x G13)
Smaller buds, but super dense greasy nugs with a straight gassy fuel aroma.
Smells like a rotten tooth with an undertone of bitter cherry skin
Rainbow Pie:
The bag appeal on these buds is A1.
Covered in frost, sparkles in the light against the lime green
colored buds and deep orange pistils. Aromas are super fruity, candy, and gassy.
Super Excited at how this Rainbow Pie turned out.
Will def. have to grow this one out again int he future.
Wedding Cake F2 was a fantastic yielder and is phenomenal for pressing Rosin.
galactic Gas was heavy, with smaller dense golf ball like nugs.
Smelled putrid and gassy, with a very sedative narcotic like high.
