This will be my 7th consecutive grow, I have only been growing since January 2019.
My grows have primarily used the kratky method of hydroponics.
I like to change certain criteria each grow to observe how it influences the rest of the grow.
This grow will be my attempt to use what I've learned over the past year to grow the best plants I can.
This will be my long season grow, expected harvest in Sept-Oct range. We'll see if any of the plants force flower earlier.
This grow will be conducted entirely outdoors after seeds sprout.
I plan to test soil vs my kratky method of hydroponic. 2 plants I plan to put in soil as long as all the seeds sprout, one Durban Poison and one Blue Dream, so that I have something to compare each to.
Four seeds have sprouted so far.
It's been just over a week since planting. So far one Durban Poison, Trainwreck, and Super Skunk have not sprouted.
The other sprouts grew leggier than I would like extremely quickly. I placed seeds outdoors as soon as they broke the seed. Has been cloudy weather though.
All my seeds are started indoors on a heating mat set at 75-80 F using rockwool water wicking.
The seeds that have not started yet may have been water logged after I didn't let them dry out at all over the past week. I removed all water and will let the rockwool dryout for at least the rest of the day and see if I can get these seeds to pop still.
I would be disappointed in myself if I only had about a 60% germination rate.
