Happy with the growth, ended up adding a couple more 3000k autocob's for extra light

I've noticed a positive response in the plants to adding two extra lights. Pots are drying out fast and have been watering every other day to keep the soil from drying out. Watering has been generous around the sides in an effort to get the roots to reach out more improving growth

Amazing how quick this is starting to grow. Not knowing how this one will react to nutrients (as it's my first time growing this strain), i hit it with nutrients at about 1/2 strength to it's reaction for first feeding. From what it was given, this plant is loving life and will probably dial it up to 3/4ths the next feeding

Very happy with the growth this week! Since apply half strength nutrients I’ve seen a huge response in how it’s growing. Node spacing is spread out with lots of access to light especially for the inner nodes. Also another huge plus is the lack of fan leaves which removes to need to defoliate and take away from the plant focusing on bud growth instead of recovery from defoliation

Within one week this plant almost doubled in height! She went from 12” to 23” with it almost hitting 24”. Node spacing is getting even better and there’s no need to pull down any of the branches as light is hitting every aspect of the plant from lower to top. The biggest issue by far this past week has been heat! Temps in the tent have skyrocketed and the external temps have made it harder to compensate and cool. I vented the flaps in the tent and routed an in-line 6” duct fan to bring in some of the garage semi cooler temps.

This week was tough with temperatures which caused the soil to dry out quick. After removing the Lumigrow 650 heat temps dropped and I could see less heat stress to the plants. Added another 6” intake as well as opened the bottom tent flaps. She’s really starting to dense up now and expect to see a lot of the buds starting to join together

Being the first grow of this strain I decided to grow 3 versions, one of which was documented here. I noticed that this strain in particular does quite well with LST in increments. Additionally, less defoliation actually worked in my favor compared to the other 2 plants where this one I opted for leaf tucking only. Out of most fast buds of grown this strain in particular loved heavy doses of nutrients and exploded with growth as soon as I started introducing bloom nutrients in the routine.

Overall I am beyond happy with how this turned out! This was my first go at this strain and certainly won’t be my last. I found with this one in particular that it works amazing with LST and due to its formation would not go well with a SOG or Scrog net. The reason for this being, out of the 3 I grew, they all grew the same way with a huge massive cola and significantly larger mid to lower buds than I’ve seen in most strains. LST allowed the branches to spread out and soak up all angles of light to fatten up the buds. My only struggle with this grow (and not related to the strain) was my battle with heat and humidity later in the grow. Unfortunately for me I ended up losing about a good ounce of the harvest from mold. I wish I could have prevented this but the climate in my area is just so rapidly changing and brutal that I was lucky only losing an ounce. I look forward to this fall when the temps drop and I can really try this again to see full yield and potential Overall I rate this probably my second favorite strain to Tangie’Matic. It was a fun grow, easy at that and recommend it not only for experienced growers but for first timers as well.

This week went really well! Temperatures in the tent cake down a bit due to the removal of the Lumigrow 600 which put out quite a bit of heat. In addition to the light removal, the temps in weather around here were cool enough that left the tent nice and comfortable. This week was big for bud development and noticed that the increase in nutrients played a crucial role in fattening them up. I think they’ve reached their full potential in terms of size and are now just working to fill out and dense up. During the last two feedings I increased the uptake of veg+bloom shine which seems to have a huge impact and the plants are showing no signs of stress or deficiency

This week has been a challenge for sure. Thankfully I’m right at the end of this grow just before harvest otherwise I would have ended up with a lot more issues. Temperatures and humidity were a huge issue for me this week in the tent. My setup is in the garage within a 4x4, so not only dodo I have the rising garage temps I have Ben more elevated temps within the tent itself. Humidity is rising outside and any air being brought in through windows is still humid and warm. I don’t see signs of heat stress quite yet but my guess is within the next week I will definitely see the start to some. I’ve adjusted my rest periods for peek heat during the day so the tent will shut off around noon and pop back on around 4. This seems to be helping thankfully so I’ll continue to adjust as needed Right now this one is in flush (about 4days now) so I’m more worried about trying to keep humidity down vs the temperatures. Been flushing with 6.4 tap water and am starting to see the leaves changing colors as it starts to use the last bit of stored nutrients. I applied a more aggressive defoliation than I have been this grow just so I can give one last push to dense up the buds. Limiting defoliation and simply tucking has proved to have successful results and will probably try to do this more in the future grows Overall I’m super happy with how it’s growing, and the overall strain itself is just phenomenal.

Enjoy the harvest, buds looks real nice and although you lost a bit it's looking like there's plenty more to go around!! 😊 Sounds like a lovely strain...

I can't help but speak of the beauty of your photographs. You have a photographically aligned view, I love it =) Regarding the issue of heat I am using just over 300 Watts(wall draw) in 6 ft tent with 5 sq.ft of floor space. My temps Max out around 32c but with intake constantly blowing it seems my plants are right at home, I'm sorry it's stressing yours ... ~~~~~~

@Omahoney_Canna_Thusiast, Sounds like a great setup!! I need install an inline fan as well but I’m just waiting for a filter so that I don’t suck any bugs into the tent

The quality of the pics in this diary is amazing. I've been struggling with heat as well this week, had to move the whole grow, but they picked back up. Hope they look this good in a month's time!

Congrats man! Hope you enjoy your harvest. Can't wait for mine to finish. This diary is a few weeks ahead of mine, and it's always the one I was bench marking my grow against along the way, comparing at various stages. If I can get anywhere close to this result, I'll be happy! Enjoy!
