Put a selection of my own seeds s1's apart from red/purps red Russina Cross straight into soil and mist sprayed them with ph 6.5 water it took them 3-4 days to pop up but all popped up with 12 hrs of each other 🍾.
Gave water at 6.5ph will feed on week 3.
I think I've had the light to close. On day 10 pictures you can see the leaves look like there burnt 🤔 or that's what I'm guessing it is. I've raised the light to 1meter it's only at around half power at the moment and showing 21000 lux.
Switched from 24/0 to 12/12 at the end of day 14, also switched the 730nm Led's on. Its been 7 days the plants have started growing a lot faster but there's still no pistils showing.
I started feeding biobizz grow @ 2ml/l
At the moment there getting watered every 3-4 days.
The light is showing 25000lux on a lux meter app.
This week I Realised I'd used the wrong feed chart so I was over feeding 🙄 the leaves burnt on a few plants so I've only fed them water this week and will resume feeding from next week.
There are still no pre sex pistils showing but it can't be far off now.
As soon as pistils start to show I'll start feeding bloom feed.
I've turned the light up to 30000lux using HLG's online calculator for converting a lux meter/app reading to PAR , my light is 3000k which with lm301H Led's works out @ 465ppfd which is about the max the plants can use in veg without supliments co2.
Here's the link for anyone using quantum boards, it has different spectrum calculators.
It's been really useful setting my light up so big thank you to HLG (even though I have a Geeklight) and a thank you to the GML show on YouTube for bringing it to growers attention (I love that weekly show, so much info and perspective)

Hope everyone's staying safe and growing 😎
Fed once this week with a weak feed including top max.
I use kombucha vinegar as pH down. Water from my tap is ph6.8-7.0 and 38-42ppm so I might start using calmag supliment as the ppm at my old house used to come out of the tap at ph7. 2 and 200-220ppm.
I had 2 plants that didn't like the light at 30000 lux and started bleaching so I took them out.
I've defoliated today day 35 as humidity was getting over 80% and also to let light to the lower bud sights.
Pre flower pistils showed on some plants around day 33 (some still have none) so I'll consider this the end of veg start of flower. The kalimist indica pheno is still not showing pre flower pistils but is always hard to force flowering when it's not mature for some reason. It's always 7-14 days behind everything else 🤔
Plucked a few more leaves but other than that just feed them this week including bloom.
Also gave them some rice starch (from boiled rice water collection) on day 42 as a boost for the microbes 👍
Turned the IR off now and turned up to 34000lux
The plants were so crowded I decided to put them into a Larger tent to allow some light to the lower bud sites and to help lower the humidity amongst the plants. I'm sure they will love the extra space.
The light has now been raised 20cm (20cm taller tent)
Allowing me to turn out right up which is 45000 lux in the centre right below it.
I will up the bloom to 2ml/l this coming week.
Defoliated some leaves to let light in, chopped one down early as I run out of bud 🙄 it's good for less than 4 weeks flowering.
Have them rice water starch again this week in with there food.
A layer of frost is slowly forming 😎 hopefully they will fatten up nice and frost up really good to 🤞
I've cut down on grow at this point as the soil seems to have a lot.
I'll feed for another week then think about Flushing.
The kalimist will keep getting fed bloom and grow as its only been flowering for about 3 weeks due to taking longer to force flower.
I started Flushing two plants as there nearing the end of there days. I'll start Flushing the others this week apart from the kalimist indica pheno as it started flowering 3 or so weeks after the others even though they were all forced together. (alkward bugger)
Some of the plants are showing red /purple colours a little bit 👍
Been feeding just water ready for the chop.
Some of them have all brown pistils and have pretty much stopped all together.
The kalimist indica pheno is still flowering so I'll let it go until it looks ripe 👍
Gave water all week again and cut down on day 88.
Some nice colours and smells plus solid nugs 😎
I think i would have benefitted from another week in veg but the space I had at the time wouldn't allow it.
Next week will be the harvest when it's dry 👍
Harvested 2 plants, one early with 30% milky trichomes and the one after it had pretty much stopped and had almost all milky trichomes, they harvested 26 and 31 grams. The 31 gram one had more solid lower nugs.
I put them into the same jar as the high seemed the same from both plants.
I still have 6 seeds of this cross and intend to grow them all once I've done other diaries for some seed company's.
It grew well, had a nice frosting but one of the two plants had a garlic musky type taste that I just don't like.
It was grown in 4ltr pots, plants harvested 26 and 29 grams dried trimmed bud.
I grew two plants in one 4ltr pot and harvested 31grams! Don't put two plants in a 4ltr pot 😂🤣
Quality is awesome I love this strain, shame it's not more but it was an experiment anyway.
