My goal is to cultivate a nice plant in a small pot.
Yield is not the primary goal.
The aim is a to cultivate a beautifull, small plant, all natural and good.
The goal is to produce a delicacy.
Untill now:
Only a little bit of water each day & lots of love for the last two weeks.
Every few hours she was rotated towards the sunlight.
If it was colder than 20°C she stayed inside behind the window.
If the temperature was higher, she could go outside to enjoy the sun & wind.
After two weeks of settling down at her own pace with just water and sun, we start adding some organic grownutrients.
Half of the recommended dosis on the bottle.
She stills gets a little water each day.
This week she got a bit taller and a bit wider.
On the cola the leaves are miniature but well developed with three, five and seven leafs.
They all have a nice geen color.
On every node she also developed two new branches with miniature leafs.
She enjoys the sun all day long and likes me turning her around.
If it's up 20 degrees Celcius, she goes outside to enjoy the breeze.
Her roots start to pop out on the bottom of the terracotta pot, but she won't move to a bigger pot!
The roots look fresh and white.
We are going to get the most out of here miniature size with no LST, no topping, no defoliation.
She just looks beautifull the way she is.
Her organic nutricious diet is raised to 3/4 of the dosis on the bottle.
She gets her water daily in small portions.
Every few days her leafs are sprayed with good rainwater.
She also starts to spread her characteristic smell if you bring your nose close to her.
Looking forward!
It has been two weeks and she is looking great! Floweringstage has surely begon.
We changed her diet with less N and a little bit more P & K.
She has been inside the house more than before because of the colder weather.
Daily I give her something to drink, mostly just before I go to sleep.
I switch between normal water and her powerdrink.
Because her roots were growing a bit out of the pot two weeks ago, I placed her small housing into a bigger container.
Just to give her roots a way out and a little bit extra soil.
I didn't want to damage her roots.
No genuine repotting. I am sticking to the goal.
I want to keep her small and dense, nice and delicate but firm and healthy.
Except for some extra nutrients, it is just me and her.
All on track!
I guess she has two weeks to go before harvesting.
The leaves on the buttom start to turn yellow.
I hope the buds will swell some more. For my first time and on a small scale I guess I can't complain about the result so far.
It was from the start a microproject.
I did cut back on the nutrients and gave her less water then before.
The tips of some leaves were burning.
The pistils are also turning brown. I would say around 20%.
The weather was cold two weeks ago, so she was inside most of the time. Also during the daytime.
Last week it was nice and warm so she could enjoy all the time of the great outdoors.
A night she still would sleep inside of the house.
