marcuza This winter grow, I'm doing with three seeds: 1 is a cross I made between a supposed Jack H. and a male indica from BBGum. Given the origin of the seeds, I can't claim they are exactly those genetics. The other two seeds I don't quite remember the origin, but I think one is from a blister pack of Master Seeds Cup Spain 2017 and the other is a low-cost one from MobyDick. I put them in recycled soil mixed with homemade compost. Since they are starting to go into the second week, I see that the progress is normal; I wasn't expecting much growth with the autumn solstice where I live.

marcuza In this 2nd week, I started to notice that the climate where I live, at this time of year, gets almost 12 hours of light; so I began to add a few more hours of light under a regular LED lamp. I think it helps a bit with growth, especially since there's one of the girls that seems to be developing slowly, maybe because the seed is old.

marcuza Good evening everyone, here in Argentina it's raining a bit at night; in this third week of the girls' lives we had: an average of between 23° and 14°, I added light hours for the girls, and I transplanted them to their final pots. . 8-liter pots with recycled soil mixed with homemade compost, bat guano for vegetative, and styrofoam pearls; . little by little I added LED lights for the light hours, ending up with 2 LEDs of 18w - one warm and one cool - + 1 energy-saving cool light of 15w. My idea is to keep adding light for one or two weeks so the plants stretch a bit more and try tying them down when I leave them all day on the terrace with the light cycle only for flowering - with good weather I have at least 7 hours of direct sunlight, I need to set up the greenhouse for the rain and then leave the girls at the mercy of the weather and the care I can provide. . I’m already starting with a sprayer of Phitonat plus to prevent pests, because in the last harvests I had to cut earlier than expected. . and in flowering I will continue with Top bloom from TopCrop.

marcuza This week the plants started to grow a bit more with the help of the artificial light hours. 50 watts - from 6:00 PM to 12:00 AM to reach 16 hours of light. Depending on the weather this week, I'll see if I switch them to flowering in the greenhouse. Last week we had temperatures between 6° and 15° degrees, so I'm unsure whether to cut the extra light for vegetation this week or buy another 30W LED light to support them a bit more this week. Tonight it's time for preventive spraying with Phitonat plus - for pests - Tomorrow morning it's time to water - after 3 days since the last watering.

marcuza This week I left them on the terrace with almost 12 hours of light, well into Autumn. I water them with about 1 liter of water per week. I spray with Phitonat Plus every 3 days, every day I see a trip more or less, with a minimal dose of repellent. I made a basket to keep the dog and cat away from the girls, I haven't sexed any yet so I haven't started fertilizing for flowering. I hope to have news soon! All of them have a good stem and apparently good health despite having nights with 7°C ambient temperature.

marcuza the low temperatures have started: between 5°C to 20°C max. with some rainy days averaging 9°C This Sunday I started with the flowering stimulation using 1.5ml per liter of top.Bloom preventive spray against thrips. 5ml per liter of phitonat plus I hope they show me their sex this week!!! I started tying the deformed one to see if something like mainlining comes out, the apical pruning was from birth.

marcuza I still don't have sexes! They've been growing for 7 weeks and 4 days. Low temperatures, I hope it won't be long before they start to flower. I took the opportunity to do some tying on the deformed one, and today I was removing some small branches from the lower area to the deformed one and the little one.

marcuza week8: the 9th week is starting. Temperatures range from 3° at night to 21° in the afternoon. I still can't detect the sex of the plants, two are showing signs of pre-flowers, but I still can't distinguish the sex, hoping for females... Despite the cold autumn, they're doing well, watering with dechlorinated water every 3 to 4 days, adding top bloom every 15 days to encourage flowering with a minimal dose. For the last 3 days, I've been watering with phitonat plus, as a repellent to eliminate thrips.

marcuza Ok, this week the sexes of two of the plants showed up, the deformed one turned out male, and the sk8 turned out female, which by the way is very vigorous. The little one still hasn't shown me its sex, but it has some hermaphrodite qualities. My intention was to make seeds this winter season, but given the characteristics of the deformed one, I don't consider it good for crossing, first because it was hard to germinate, second because of the deformity itself, it has a lot of branches, although I think that's due to the bends I was giving it; third, I see it growing strong, but I attribute that to the bat guano bokashi I fed them when I changed pots... Anyway, I don't know what to do with the little male.

marcuza Week of a lot of sun. Cuttings were taken from the 3 plants: the male (deformed), the small one, and the sk8 (females). This year I will try to make seeds with the cuttings from these girls. I applied, in addition to top bloom for flowering, banana peel molasses and sugar as nutrients in the watering.

marcuza Week 12: . It's been 2 weeks since the last update on the grow. . I'm still watering these 2 beauties weekly with 2ml per liter of top bloom and banana molasses, made with 3 or 4 banana peels and sugar per one and a half liters of water. When the water boils, I add these ingredients for almost 15 minutes. Once the liquid cools down, I water the plants. . Both are in good health.

marcuza This week I did a pollination on the small plant. I found out that the sk8 is pregnant, probably from some neighbor. I hope that from the cross I made and the one it did by itself, beautiful crosses come out!

Also sativa dominance, rich sweet fruit smell with a hint of spices. Not long now until harvest and waiting for the second batch of Winter/Spring.
