So I seperated the diaries. Gonna add this small info on all. I had 300W Viparspectras and now I got 600W. Gonna start with CFLs then 600W and late flowering 600+300W.
Previous grow is yet to be harvested. She is taking it really slow. Until I harvest her the conditions in the tent are set for her. New grows are in the corner of the tent but still in coverage area of LEDs with 70cm distance. Covered with a dome and sprayed regulary to keep rH high.
Update 31.12: One of the first leaves is smaller shaped. Maybe a little struggle while germinating? I dont know.. But its no big deal
Update 02.01: All good. A little streching. Done LST, bended her towards the holes I cut before planting. Older sister is insisting on going slow. So they will stay as secondary plants in the tent a little while more
I know this is a year late, but I'm growing with the same seeds as my first attempt. Interestingly I did this using an Aerogarden Harvest Touch. I wanted to thank you for creating this diary because it's been pretty helpful.
Currently on Day ~65, almost 2.5 weeks into flowering. I've made a few mistakes as any beginner would, and I will continue to make them. One thing I'm having a hard time gauging is when to flush, or rather, how long to flower.
I'm a bit nervous to do it too early, but I definitely don't want to do it too late either. ATM, sugar leaves have trich's on about 40-60% of their surface. About 15% of pistils have started to go from white to orange, and/or are completely orange. Under a 30x 21mm loupe, it's not super easy to get a sense of trichome color, but they're definitely not amber yet. I feel like flushing at the first signs of amber is too late. I've been slightly decreasing nutes for the last few days because of my concerns. Any suggestions on other ways to tell if it's time to flush?
