DAY 15 05 May 2020: light bumped up to 110 watts without using Kil-a-watt meter, tent temps quite high Pushing 30•c range at times. High temps sucking humidity from the tent, difficult to maintain RH above 45%. Large wet towel added in addition to face cloth (in clone humidity done). Plants doing well. Staked stems with wire as they were quite flimsy. DAY 17 07 May 2020: stalks double in size over a few days, much more growth appearing, new shoots appearing at nodes. 4th node beginning to sprout. Nodes too close to begin LST, approx 1/4” apart. Blueberry showing leaf droop. DAY 18 08 May 2020: plants watered approx 750 ml each, 1/3 focused on fully saturating the base of stem and 2/3 water dedicated to The rest of media in the pot to assist in activating organic amended nutrients in coco. 1/4 tsp of organic blackstrap molasses and 1 ml/L of Sensi Cal Mag Xtra added to water, ph’ed 6.0. Foliar spray conducted on both plants as well. Began LST. DAY 19 09 May 2020: Discovery of spider mites on clone bought from a dispensary, mites spread to auto flowers. Completely checked all plants, both auto’s have limited number of eggs and few mites on the plants. Removed from grow space, disinfected tent and vacuumed. All plants sprayed with Safer’s Insecticidal Soap. Rechecked plants hours later, appears most are dead. Will reapply insecticidal treatment two more times spread 3 days apart. Sprayed during lights out with no breeze in tent. Light adjusted to 75 watts as plants showing stress under higher wattage, minimal signs of canoeing and very minimal tip burn. Day 20 10 May 2020: monitoring plant conditions, checking for mites that survived. Reapplication following day. Day 21 11 May 2020: Mite Treatment, Safer’s Insecticidal soap applied to surface Nd under leaves during lights out with no breeze. LST tweaks made as plants growing daily.
