Being in lockdown, I figured why not try my hand at growing. The timing worked out where I can try and grow outside since we're just starting to get out of the cold part of spring here in New England.
I'm currently germinating the seeds and once they're ready to go I'll be starting them in solo cups. I have 3 seeds of each strain starting. I've uploaded a couple pics of my indoor germination setup. I started a couple seeds a friend gave me and he had no idea what they were. They've given me a chance to make some early mistakes (like not starting the seedlings under lights...also over watering them).
My plan is to start the seeds indoors until they get too big for their cups and then move them into 7 gallon grow bags. Where I live we tend to get some deer, so I'm thinking of moving them into the garage each night to keep them safe then back out to their spot for the day....at least until they get to the point where the deer don't want to nibble on them anymore. Only grow technique I'm thinking of using is some bending to try and get these ladies to widen out, but that's about it.
This is all new to me so advice and tips are welcome...especially if you've grown outdoors in the New England area. If you see me making any mistakes along the way, please reach out. Let's see what happens.
