Very excited to try the nutrients as they seem so simple. Went with Banana Krumble due to it being a good bedtime strain.
Not a great start, I let the paper towel dry out. There is the smallest root so I've rehydrated and will check tomorrow.
So as the pic shows, she survived. Put her in some soil and now we wait.
Day 2....It begins :)
Day 7 - End of the week and everything seems alright.
Not a lot to report really, shes looking happy enough
Day 14 - End of week 2 and all seems good. I will need to get a PVC Tomato Greenhouse before she goes outside.
Day 18 - Still looking happy. I need to get a PVC tomato greenhouse before she goes outside but everywhere seems to be out of stock...
Day 20 - Getting a bit wobbly, definitely needs a bigger pot.
Day 23 - I have a greenhouse so she should be outside tomorrow....
Day 24 - Finally outdoors and in her big pot. Added 1g of Enhancer to 1L of water and fed 500ml today and will feed 500ml tomorrow.
Not sure what to do with her. Some form of training or just leave to grow naturally....
Day 40 - Not a lot to report really. She seems fine, could do with some more sun though! Soil is holding water well so I'm only having to give her a splash from the watering can every other day.
Thinking of topping and maybe mainlining or using one of the shelves for the greenhouse and using LST to keep a flat canopy and see how many tops I can get. Let's see what happens.
Day 43 - I think I will top her tomorrow.
Day 44 - Topped. Looking nice and healthy
Day 46 - Effects of the topping are already noticeable in the lower growth 🙂
Day 49 - The lower growth is shooting up nicely, I will need to start thinking about increasing the height on the greenhouse somehow. End of week 7 and on to the next, I've got a feeling shes going to have a growth spurt now.
Day 50 - Shes got some company
Day 52 - I've modified the greenhouse and she's got a lot more room to grow now. I've used one of the shelves as a scrog net and looks like it will work well.
Day 57 - Came home today and the tent was on the floor and both plants on their sides, I don't think the banana was hurt too bad but the little one was out the soil.
Day 71 - I've messed the days/weeks up somewhere.......got to stop filling this out high😂
Day 74 - Looking really good, getting some decent size on the shoots. I keep getting wafts of unripe bananas when I lift open the door too
Day 75 - My reaction to seeing the dry soil and plant flopped over was "Alright no need to be dramatic"😂 Gave her a big helping from the watering can and she perked up.
Day 81 - I've got a feeling she might be root bound as the soil is drying out very quickly.
Day 82 - Or it could have been the amount of sun we've had lately as it was more overcast today and she seemed happy and the soil was moist all day
Day 89 - She is a beast!! I've seen some of the other outdoor diaries in this competition and there's some monsters out there! I'm starting to wonder if a 20l pot is going to be big enough....
Day 101 - I'm thinking about applying the flowering nutrients soon but think it might be a good idea to top dress with a bit more of the veg before hand. It might also be a good idea to have another read of the instructions😁
Day 105 - Tent has been raised again as the plant had outgrown it......again. I spent the day trimming and adding nutrients and finally got around to measuring, 67 inches from the top of the pot! Topped up the pot with 45 grams of Grow and 55 grams of Bloom mixed in with a bit more BioBizz light mix soil.
Day 116 - The tent got blown down the garden and both plants were face down so they spent last night in the shed. Back outdoors today and shes been tied to the wall with one piece of string....something more drastic is needed. I also think they've started to flower but didn't take a good enough look.
Day 117 - Ridiculous!😂

Day 123 - Shes so tall!!! I think I might have to dig a hole for the pot to sit in to try and lower her a bit....
Day 126 - Its been really wet and windy lately and I honestly thought it was going to be all over yesterday as she was taking a beating from the wind. I really don't know what to do with her as I wasn't expecting such a tall plant from a 20l pot. Not long left I suppose😅
Day 128 - The weather is terrible at the moment, grey, wet and windy. She seems to be coping alright but it's not ideal.
Day 134 - Finally some sun and she is a beast!! Lots of buds sites appearing and I've got a feeling she'll need some support to keep it up straight. I've also noticed it's got lots of patches of purple all over the tops, purple hairs, calyx's and stems, not sure if it's a bad thing but she looks pretty😂
I'm definitely considering buying a camera as I'm enjoying taking pics of these but the S7 isn't up to the job.

I've messed the days up so I'm going to put a reminder here every week
Day 141 - Looking a bit yellow in the lower growth so I added 25g of the Grow powder as a top dressing
149-154
Day 152 - She received a battering in the rain last night, woke up this morning and the tops were pretty much horizontal. I'm going to spend some time at the weekend seeing if I can get the greenhouse to provide some protection from the elements.
155-161
Day 155 - The storm did some damage and there is a huge split down the main stem. I've tied it up as best I could but I think this might be Game Over...
Day 156 - Added some nutrients to see if that will help. 9g of Grow, 10g of Bloom and 3g of Enhancer
Day 160 - She isn't looking completely lifeless and some of the leaves are perking up so I'll just have to see how it goes
162-168
Day 164 - Looks like shes still fighting, all I can do now is wait and see.
Day 168 - Still holding in there and looking like she will make it🤞
169 -175
Day 172 - Came down this morning and noticed patches of mould all over her. Absolutely gutted but had a feeling it would happen. The colours were amazing and it had a very nice smell to go with it, it's a shame I wont get to taste it but hey ho
At least I know next time to either get a proper greenhouse or only grow Autos outdoors.......or move to a country with a better climate😏
