Sirius Black

Hi let’s do this . I dropped two seeds. Both germed but one couldn’t throw shell casing fell over. Tried to help to no avail. This is unheard of strain to me but found its traits something I would like. She stretched to almost 5 ins. So I buried her in a 3gal pot. So far so good🤞

Well this little girl grew ferociously. This plant is in a 3 gal pot. I have another plant in a five gal pot but it’s about 10 days behind. Lost a few of my seedlings so I had to do a second germ. I just got my first PH pen. Wow that’s a lot easier. Good thing because I ran out of testing agent for my chem. Ph kit. I been winging it for past two months. Turns out I was estimating on the money. Also bought a EC/ TDS meter. That also read correctly for what I was doing for a base fert. mix. Lucky I guess? EC/TDS more stuff to monitor. I all my plants a light dose of molasses mix. The pot mix is only about 50% new Fox Farm mix. The other is used and flushed soil mix. Thought molasses might help vitalize microorganism growth. Never heard of this strain but looking forward to it’s specific growing characteristics. Grow Hard and stay safe till next week. 🌱💚

Well this week she grew like hell. Wish I had her in a 5 gal. pot. I do have a Sirius B. in a 5gal. But it’s about ten days behind first germ. I fed a light fert. mix at 25% and some molasses solution. They loved it. Going up to 50% mix for next feeding. Topped her just now but think I have one more main stem topping to come depending on how I want to train it. Very healthy 🤞 I want to Thank Weedseedsexpress for the seeds to do this grow. I’ve been more then happy with the results of their beans. Their seed allowed me to take 2nd in April’s monthly contest. My first win. Must say I was tickled when I found out. Stay tuned next week I should be in my new tent. 🤞

She did fine I guess? Seems hardier then I first thought. Seedling appeared feeble but turned herself around. Wired her up along with her sister. Going to be more aggressive to one of them. Not sure if the 3 or 5 gal pot. The switchover to the new tent was pretty effortless. Setup controller to turn on blower with filter and circulator fan at 78F which is actually 80F over plants. Shuts off at 73F. A tower fan is plugged into the light timer, so lights on fans on. The heater is set to turn on at 65F. Which is in the cool corner so it’s 68F under plants. Right now the humidity in the tent is 55 as it’s 42 outside the tent. That’s fine to me. It will rise as weather warms. So for now it’s all good. Will have to dehumidify later I’m sure. Hello fellow growers 🌱 This week went really well. Growth was substantial. I fimmed one girl and clipped the other. LST is difficult on this whole grow. Stems are so stiff, scared I’ll split her. The stem stiffness may be attributable to the fairly strong breezes I have blowing thru the grow area? This is a tight compact plant. True Indica structure. I don’t understand why this grow is drinking very little water. Humidity is on the rise. I figure I’ll have to dehumidify pretty soon. Well till next week be safe

Hi hope ur week went as well as this grow. This has the most compact thick stemmed structure I’ve grown. Beautiful tight compact frame. Made LST nearly impossible. The branches seem to grow as stiff as a pencil. Because of its short stiff structure, I think would be the perfect strain for a solo cup grow. Hmmm one more challenge to attempt. I was very judgmental at first of this grow. I stated it was weak, slow and tender. I must have been wicked high or something. This whole grow it healthy, happy and strong. My knee pain tending the girls may have clouded my assessment of the plants quality. Their all 👍. Don’t understand why they drink so little and have needed very little nutes. It’s kool, makes growing them easier. With the new setup with temp, fan and light controllers I feel left out. My girls are growing up and don’t need me as much😭. In a few weeks they’ll all be bud bearing age and I’ll flip the lights. Till then I’ll enjoy their adolescent growth. Be safe. Till next week god willing.🌱💚

This is a gorgeous tight framed plant. Small and compact. Healthy and bushy it’s been slowly defoliated daily throughout. The 3 gal plant is what I think is the prettiest of the whole grow. The 5 gal girl is growing Naturally with very little manipulation. This is a very short strain. Great for those with very limited grow area. This plant has heavy short inter-nodal branches. Quite different from the rest of grow.

These are the gorgeous runts of the grow . The 3 gal plant is tight, stocky and lush. The 5 gal plant is been for the most part left alone. I did fimm it. They say ignorance is bliss well I’ll stay ignorant because I’m experiencing bliss with the good fortune I’ve had since I started growing.

Man, the 3 gal plant is my favorite. The Zkittlezs is pretty but the structure and form of this girl is amazing. You’ll see after I harvest🤞. I can’t keep up with foliage production. Take a handful a day. Defoliation may slow advancement some but so will no light to new bud sites. It may be a hybrid but has a pure Indica growing traits. All the plants are getting too big to move around for photos for diary. Future pics most likely will be taken I tent? The whole grow is getting very thirsty. I’ve had to open up flaps on tent to keep temps low enough. Twice the LEDs running when in flower, thus more heat. Should make for one fragrant house when budding up.

The three gal. plant I feel is the nicest of the grow. Small compact and sturdy. I think she it going to form bud from pot to peak of colas. Photos are lousy this week. I’ll do better next week. To train this strain you have to do ASAP. One extra day and the stems stiffen to point they can’t be bent and muscled without fear of breakage. This strain I suggest heavy defoliation. It’s so bushy and tight light and air flow would never get through without thinning. I defoliated 13 oz of veg from this grow for the week. Just love pinching leaves all week long. Water and pinch leaves are pretty much the extent of care I give them. Photos might not show it but the 3 gal plant really is quite attractive. I want to thank all who view and return every week. This is a good example of how plant progress after two different types of training. The 5 gal( green) was fimmed then super cropped for height control. The 3 gal( black) was topped and wired up. The 3 gal is the leafiest of whole grow. Thick tiny leaves by the millions. Going to be a trimming nightmare. I’ll take those problems any day. It scares me how much I’m pinching off her. The 5 gal Zkittlezs and the 3 gal Sirius Black are going to be the premiere plants of this grow. I was so looking forward to getting a presentable GF OG plant. I still have a few seeds left. Hope it’s not a genetic fault. There is one other GF OG diary on GD. I’m going to follow closely to see if it was my stress that caused gender switch or if inherent issue with strain. Plants look droppy because pot nearly dry. Easier and cleaner to move around for pics. Till next week “ Keepem Green”

Kind of an uneventful week. Which I can say with some satisfaction. They seem to have reached full height. Bud development appeared to have slowed this week. Could be because I went through like a weedwacker and heavy defoliated whole grow. I guess they are about what I expect 4 wks into 12/12. Should start to fill in from here out🤞. Very healthy in general. The 3gal. Plant is going to be pretty bud heavy for size but not same league as 5 gal Zkittlezs. That’s going to have colas as long as my arm. This strain smells like a sweet flower garden. I like😍

The highlight of this strain is the 3 gal plant. She is one pretty lady. Tight compact solid girl. The smell of this strain is unreal. Super sweet, raspberry, cherries and true strong bubblegum. It literally makes my mouth water. This whole grow smells so much that I had to hang fly strips because the scent is drawing all kinds of critters. I said I wouldn’t enter anymore contests but between this little girl and the large Zkittlez I might have a contender if they decide to put on weight. The foliage on the small one is so thick and ingrown as part of her buds, I’ll have to hope for natural die off at maturity. I feel this is my diamond in the rough. Be safe and good to each other.🌱

The three gal plant is a real compact bull. Tight full colas. Now if they decide to fatten it would make my day. I’ve been so lucky since I started growing that I think every girl should and will turn into a monster. The five gal. plant is the least thirsty of whole tent. It is also the sparsely branched. I have a funny feeling that the 3 gal. Is going to develop into a cinder block of bud.🤞🙏. Time will tell? This strain smells so strong of berries and bubblegum you can even smell it out of the house. Crazy smelly. Snowy Trichomes dust the whole colas. Since this strain is so leafy by buddy will be getting some good trimmings to make whatever. It’s my Birthday today not that I ever really celebrate it. Just glad my feet hit the floor today and was able to wake to the luscious aroma that permeates my house. 🌱

The strain has started to pick up blue and purple color to its foliage. The 5 gal that I grew with little training seems to be putting weight on its buds better then the 3 gal. The 3 gal is a real pretty plant. Short and compact. The stems are so fat and stiff I can’t mess with it without fear of breakage. The fragrance of this strain is incredible. Reminds me of fruit stripe gum from my childhood. They may not turn into fat cola monsters that I need a bull whip to control but I’m satisfied how the whole grow is progressing. Especially since a lot of my indoor growing friends are have trouble with the high temps and very high humidity in this area. They are drinking like sailors on leave. I have slight fert burn throughout grow. Which is the signs I was looking for. I wanted to push ferts. till showed me they have more then they could handle. This is not my normal growing style. I never push nutes on a plant. I decided to do it on this grow because to cola lengths and number of bud sites. Really trying to maximize yield on this grow as I used most all my stash to make extracts. I want to thank all who have viewed and liked my posts. Don’t ever feel obligated to like every weeks post. I think the 3 gal is running about two wks behind rest of grow. Beautiful tight sturdy structure. Super leafy. Buds are still very small.🤞 The 5 gal. Was supercropped and is producing some solid nugs. I think I might have slowed the 3 gal a lot by feeding twice in flower stage with full strength veg. nutes. Dumb ass mistake. If your looking for a well structured compact plant well suited to limited space, this would be a good choice. Zkittlezs post states what my next step for the coming wks. The 3 gal just won’t bud up. Its such a pretty plant was hopeful it was going to be a performer. The 5 gal has filled in more, nice tight buds. Did some reading on the strain. Most growers stated that bloom took way longer then stated. She looks like the 3 gal is 3 wks behind rest of grow. Sry for shitty photos but did flush on whole tent last nite. Don’t feel like breaking them like I did to 5 gal Zkittlezs.

Slow, like watching water boil. The five gal. is getting there. It will be chopped before the 3 gal.. This is my first attempt at this strain. I think this strain maybe more sensitive to stress of any kind, though the 5 gal. did take to super cropping quite well. The 3 gal. Plant I thought was going to be the star of the whole tent. Boy was I wrong the 3 gal is beautifully structured and really full. The bud sites just don’t seem to be a progressing. I think this plant will be still under lights alone after others have been jared. Still have my fingers🤞crossed she’ll blow up. Think I try next time with just LST or super cropping. Sry for the boring diaries this wk it’s just their at a standstill.

The 5 gal. lady will be chopped right after this post. Buds have taken on a nice dark purple hue. Smell is incredibly fruity. I am alittle disappointed in the bud production on this strain. The 5 gal has some big popcorn buds. Too bad the 3 gal has produced little dime sized buds. Will have to grow again for me to decide it was me or if this is a very low yielding strain. The plant itself was very nicely structured and thought she’d be impressive. Not this time around. Hope what I do get is killer? The 3 gal girl will bloom for another wk but I’ll keep a close eye for she is really close to ripe. Thanks all who take the time to look in.

Well I chopped the 5 gal. Nice nugs but low yield. I think I may get even less from the 3 gal. Which will be chopped right after this post. It’s been the dark for two days and pot is dry. The smell is amazing. Like sweet hot caramel. I could have flowered a bit longer but I don’t like the effects of peak picked Indicas. Will have harvest post with final weights and early cure smoke report. I must comment on my Zkittlezs finished product. This Zkittlezs turned out to be the strongest headbanger strain I’ve grown so far. Smooth fruity with a chemy exhale.

Well, one more grow under my belt. This is a compact dense plant. All Indica as far as I can judge. The yield from this strain was very low. Photos show yield of the 3 gal. plant. Last weeks post shows the yield of my 5 gal. girl. Sorry about harvest being spit in two posts. Small buds. This is a purely a night time smoke. I tried it one morning, slept all day. Wasted day. Never had a strain that worked as a sleeping pill. Got 70 grms from 2 plants so yield is no record breaker. Smell is very sweet and pungent. Smelled the whole house up. I have the Baby Bruce diary to finish. Then I will be taking a break from growing for a cycle. Have too much on my plate right now to start my next grow now. Somehow I lost most of my photos on my phone so the post suffered. 10/25 update. Smoke has cured into a dank heavy smoke with very sweet overtones. Burns like wax soaked charcoal. Get a flame near it and pufff, the oils catch flame.slow burner. NOT a date nite smoke unless you want to spoon and pull a 2 hr nod. Lol. Really it has such a heavy head and body dizzying buzz you just want to close ur eyes. This strain hits cerebrally hard upon inhale. Ooooh no tunnel vision. 🤪 worth a try.
