Day 1 today for the Monster Zkittlez for the Zamnesia spring cup contest. 3 seeds are in, going to give them a few days then check on them to see if they have sprouted. Once they are ready they will be re-potted into the Zamnesia geotextile pot with the monster bud.
Day 3 and seeds are all doing good so far.
Day 4, taproot was about an inch long this morning so its now been planted in the 11L Geotextile Pot, with 75g of the Monster Bud Mix, using Moorland Soil and Westlands Hydroleca Clay Granules. They will be kept in my Kitchen which receives a lot of natural light all day, and then will move to the Grow tent under the 600W light.
End of Week one and seeds have been germinated, re potted and now have a 3cm height.
Now been moved to the main Veg tent, Lights are on 18/6, seems to be a quick growing plant as its grown loads in the past week. Very happy plant.
2 days into the 2nd week, and seem to be loving the tent and the 600W light, Already have a 2 cm growth, so now 10 cm tall with nice big leaves.
Had a few problems with keeping the temp down yesterday due to how hot our weather has been recently, but went and got a couple of extra fans, just cheap ones and that seems to be doing the job now. Still no extra nutrients, only used the monster bud mix. and have basically doubled in size again this week. So really impressed with the genetics of this plant so far, Monster by Monster by nature by the looks. 👌😍
I only normally do defoliation and SOG method, but considering SCROG on this one.
Start of Week 4, decided i am not going to give any extra nutrients and i will only be using the monster bud mix which was added when the seed was first germinated.
Again they have doubled in size which is what made me decide not to add anything extra as the monster bud mix that Zamnesia provided is obviously amazing and doing everything it should.
Love how healthy it is and it is soaking up every bit of the 600W light.
Very pleased with the genetics and the plants overall.
So week 5 and its now at 40cm, so happy with the size of this so far, thinking depending on size of it may flip to flower in a couple or weeks or when it reaches about 50-60 cm.
Week 6 still growing well, i have removed some of the larger fan leaves today due to them blocking light and have also done a bit of training on the plane to enable the light to get to more of the lower parts.
1st week of flowering and already has a weak smell to it.
No other nutrients have been added still.
And seems to be doing great, not had any problems from the start to now.

And only a bit of LST just to ensure light gets to every part

Still had a bit more growth
Buds are growing nice and quick, and starting to smell lovely 😋

Really enjoyed growing this strain as iv had no problems so far, which is just how i like it.
Still had a bit of growth this week, and buds are dotted about everywhere, Lovely smell starting to become more stronger mainly in the morning, but nice smaell to wake upto. No extra nutrients added still and i wont be using any during the rest of the grow diary as iv said from the start i want to see the outcome with only using the monster bud mix provided.
Large fan leaves removed again this week, and removed lower leaves aswell.
Easy week again as usual, no problems.
Just plenty of water and nothing extra added.
Buds and leaves are starting to get really sticky now so all going as planned and really impressed.
Day 1 of Week 12 (week 6 on flower)
4 cm Growth
No extra nutrients added still, only Monster bud mix provided
Smell is no stronger than it was last week and can only really smell it first thing in the morning when the lights come on.
Still no problems with her and she is doing amazing.
Week 13
Very fruity smelling at the minute especially in the morning.
She is very very sticky which is always a bonus in my eyes.
This weeks gone the same as all the others have....simple and easy 😊
I'm thinking another couple of weeks and she may be ready, and i can definitely say i will be growing this strain again. 😊
Really enjoyed growing this strain, From start to finish I did not encounter any problems. Really liked the fact that whole growing it didn't really seem to smell that much. Loved the size of the plant so didn't have to worry about her getting to close to the light, I did do some LST training but not overly and she did respond well and grew quite bushy. The buds off her were very very sticky always a great result however did find when trimming the leaves tended to stick to the buds 😂 The smoke itself was very smooth and sweet tasted just like candy and found that every no and again I would get a slightly different taste than from the previous but all sweet tasting. Perfect plant due to perfect genetics. Definitely will be growing again 🙌🏻😊
Loved growing this strain overall, and lived smoking it even more. I would recommend anyone to give this one a try. But I will definitely be growing it again soon. Great genetics, and a good company
@bonemealheavenly, you just need to mix 100-150g of the monster bud mix to 18-22L of substrate and mix it together thoroughly. Then just water as you normally would
@bonemealheavenly, Thank you, i normally use just normal plastic pots and old timer nutrients. really impressed with the difference using the geotextile pots and bud mix. think i will be changing to this full time now
