*** UPDATE *** OK, I am a dumb-ass. I took clone and leave them alone for 3-4 days to be just that. Guess which stoner didn’t water them? Two are seemingly fine, two others shocked, but maybe, two, hmmmmm. I call it a learning curve, and not reading thrice, but you live and you learn Checking tomorrow, after remedial watering, and those not likely are going, then a couple more clones. Less than a week since I flipped them, so should be fine. Note to self, water the little things daily . . . duh. ** UPDATE ** Alright, no real update, just teasing. Tomorrow is day 4, and I will check on the little girls. Excited 🙃😷 **UPDATE** Not much to update. Had a look in the side window, the little girls appear fine, nice and humid, nice and warm, so my plan is to do zero, until they are 4-5 days old, then open and check. After 7-10 the extras will find their new home. Toying with keeping the little ones in slow, low wattage veg, while the current big girls flower, then once we have harvested, probably put 3ft x 3ft tent up, use that to dry in, and move the little ones to their new home, and harden. Then we will go again. Happy Growing ! ** START ** OK, so here we are, a second diary 😇 So, the girls in my first Diary were switched to flowering last night. 12/12 lights and hoping for lots. This evening, we cloned them. So, we are hoping all goes well and we will have 4 new plants. Wait a minute, you say, there are SIX plants in the picture! We had a few cones while we cloned, and oops, cut an extra Big Bud and extra Bubblegum. So, no issue, clone them, and they are going to a mate who looks after me with weed as I need it 👍. He is my supplier, or one of 😜. So, I am going to give him the two extras, with the proviso, that he throws me some of the results. Share and share alike I say 👌 So, we have 1 x Northern Lights, 1 x Bubblegum and 2 x Big Bud. The extras are as listed, and they will go to their new home in a week. Procedure used was simply scissors, cleaned. Cut the proposed clones and they were dipped for 10-15 sec in Clonex purple rooting hormone. Then pushed into Jiffy grow pads. The final grow will be in potting mix, and I find Jiffy pads simple and reliable. The Jiffy pads were soaked in regular mix of nutrients. I have seen both sides that say plain water and others say nutrient. I chose nutrients. The new little girls were then given a generous spray of plain, PH neutral, filtered water (I have a water filter for drinking water 😎). Then a nice clear cover, with vents closed. Underneath the propagation container, is a 40W heat pad (this does double duty, for when I make BHO). So the girls will be kept nice and snug and warm. Overhead is a generic 40W LED Grow Light. This is the first LED grow light I bought, specifically for this purpose. It won't provide 1000's of lumens, but the spectrum is right and it won't burn the little ones. So, watch this new and exciting grow. Keep an eye out to see the results of the mother plants, on my other diary. Happy Growing!

** UPDATE ** Well, I have decided, I have to commit. So the smaller grow tent is getting setup, and for now, I will use a 130W CFL, until I can get a second ViparSpectra Pro P1000. The the ViparSpectra 600W will be the veg tent and 2000W in the bloom tent. The propagation tent will retain the generic brand (wish.com) 40W light, as it seems to be ideal for the tent, based on the little girls in my first ever clone. So, I am going, all out. Will be a simple process ultimately, clone, prop, veg, flower. Good thing I am a gun at making BHO 😀😷 ** UPDATE ** Right, I reckon I have cloning sorted, if the latest picture will attest. I am thrilled to say the least. Yep, I had a brain-fart, and lost 2, but a quick re-clone, and some tender loving care, and boom . . . Happy, healthy little plants. I may have to look at erecting the smaller of my tents 2.5 ft x 2.5ft, 6ft high, as a veg zone. Will need to get me another ViparSpectra Pro P1000 first. But, for now, they will sit, root in fully, then I will decide how to deal with them. My weed supplier is going to be happy, as two of these are for him 🙃😷. Nil cost to me, look after those who look after you. Happy Growing! OK, so I stuffed up, and killed two clones. I had I to it in my head to leave them along for 4 days. Dumb. Four are fine, but I re-cloned two. They all look fine now. Seems my brain went into near melt, hadn't slept for almost 3 days 🙃. They are in a holding pattern now, while their big sisters flower.

**** UPDATE **** Here we are. The little ones have had their first night not under their domes, and they came through with flying colours. Not too much stress apparent, a little heat tiredness, but nothing a good watering and nutrient solution won’t fix. Girls each had a nice 1L nutrient mix and will be checked again before I go to bed (aka anywhere from 11PM to 5AM). No rush on these. The aim will be to get them to a nice size, before the move into the big tent, after the big girls get harvested. That is probably 5-6 weeks away, so no real rush. Happy Growing ! *** UPDATE *** OK, the little girls have settled into their new home. A minor issue with the CFL putting out more heat than the LED, so they suffered a little heat stress, but I check them 3-4 times a day currently (2-3 times when they are established), and quickly cut some plastic bottles up, to make individual domes for each. I also went and searched, finally found AliExpress has them, 21cm diameter/26cm high domes. They are ordered and will be here for the next grow. They are getting the normal 5ml/5ml per Liter of nutrients, but I have to keep an eye on them, as one got a little yellow (nutrient burn?), so I am also providing them with straight fresh water, in a spray, to maintain their nice, humid, warm environment. But for now, they are happy, standing up nice and straight and looking good. Still waiting for mate to pick up the two clones I did for him, they are pushing roots out, so they need a new home soon. Happy Growing! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ** UPDATE ** So, the second tent (really the first, as it is my first tent), is now set up. The clones, have, now been transferred to the “Veg Tent”, with a 130W CFL. The aim is to let them settle, after their time in the “Prop Tent” and start their growing. Hopefully, by the time the Big Girls have finished, I can get myself another ViparSpectra Pro P1000W LED and then move the ViparSpectra 600W into the smaller tent, so it isn’t such a shock when they go from CFL to LED and a major jump in light. Will you look at that. The little girls have got their feet 🙃😷 So, here we are, 3 weeks into my first ever clone and the little girls have their roots coming through. Today, they will be planted into new pots, then placed in the veg tent, once my son sets the thing up. Two (the two on the right) are going to my supplier, so he too can grow some, nice weed and maybe give me some back. He will 😀 So, now they will simply be left to grow, using the same techniques that appear to have worked so nicely for their mother plants. Happy Growing!

** UPDATE ** OK, so we figured out what caused the crappy growth and odd leaves on the little girls. I have been over-watering them, and the drip trays were too full. They have been struggling. But I think we got them in time. I’ve added a few photos, they will show the problem. Here’s hoping . . . You live and you learn . . . Happy Growing! So, I am having some issues with the little girls. Two are growing brilliantly, but the other two? Hmmm Anyone?

And here they are, the four clones from the previous grow. This was my first move to cloning, I have had some problems (I stuffed up with the watering and nutrients, to start, but I think I have nursed them back to health. The two that are at the back of the tent, had major mini growth inside, last night, I had a major tidy up and opened them out. Another week or two and I will spread their wings too. The front two, as you can see have now been started on some Low Stress Training. I attempted this on the previous grow, but was wayyyyy too late, but you live and you learn. For this grow, I am LST the girls from as young as possible. I think one in particular is spread ideally. I would call it a rotary manifold? Maybe I can start a new growing trend? The aim is to have multiple grow points, as we all want, and spread them apart as far as possible, to allow all the light in there. We will see if it works. So, jump on board, watch and see if I can improve on a 7+ oz return (with some brilliant BHO from the trimmings). Watch and see if I stuff it up totally. If, nay when I do, can I save them? these drama and more to follow, in the coming weeks of my first clone grow. Happy Growing!

What a week I have had. Sorting the usual life stuff, but finally got around to giving the girls a trim. After the early stuff up, over watering/nutrient issues, the girls went insane and had sprouting everywhere. This naturally was sucking nutrients. So now they are all big enough, I have done a major defoliation, LST to spread them all and clearing away all the internal mess. As you can see, this was a major trim. My aim is to force all their growth along the branches and create ideal sites for the coals to eventually develop. In addition<it will allow tons of light in and hopefully give much better results.

This is a great provider. Now understanding the light usage, I am dropping to 2 plants, under 2x1000W Viparspectra P1000 LEDs. But Big Bud, from clone is exceptional. The trim, dried quickly, I use a USB powered fan, so low blow, but constant. Last pic shows Big Bud, dried on top, probably 1 more day then cured. The wet stuff is Northern Lights, freshly harvested.

So, as a bit of my learning, I am getting better at the feeding. I stuffed up, over feeding and they exploded. I had a "fun" night trimming them, with pretty much every part having leaves. This sorted, I soldiers on. Currently, I use a 1000W and 600W LED light. I have just purchased another 1000W LED (Viparspectra) and will have it before the next grow, My new setup, which I will look to show pics of, consists of a small germination tent, with 40W LED, heater and plant house. This is where ALL seeds and CLONES start. Once they have reached the top of the plant house, they move to the big tent. Usually . . . As I have two proper grow tents, I have my main grow tent, 1200x1200x2000, the middle one is almost exclusively used for clones, while I have other still growing. Basically, I take bit to clone, they go to small tent, get established, go to medium tent, while main tent is usually in flower, then when I have harvested, they next go to the main tent. This provides me the opportunity of having essentially a near endless grow cycle. I am dropping to 2 plants, from 4, as I will then be able to have a 1000W light dedicated to the individual plant. I will get to 4 1000W lights, then go back to 4 plants. My next grow diary has started, so jump on and watch what happens this time. I apologise to anyone who was disaappointed with my sudden disappearance, I am a disabled veteran, I have physical and mental issues, so sometimes, I just climb inside myself and don't communicate. I will try fix that next grow.

Full disclosure, I am harvesting these tomorrow evening, but I will be so off my face, I thought it smarter to get in early 😁 But if the other two plants are any guide, I expect somewhere around 300-350gm. I base this on the fact I used 1600W of LED and had 4 plants. My highest expectation (gm/w ratio) means at most 400gm. (Hey, in case you want to see ridiculous, my next grow is TWO Viparspectra P1000, 1000W LED lights and TWO plants. Going by the gm/w ratio, I should, if all the Gods of Cannabis (well, maybe a Saint will do? Saint Marc Emery), I should reap 1KG (2+lb) per plant. But the MAIN reason for posting, beside I will be useless tomorrow night, is . . . to share the photos. Secret, if you like the pics, let me know, I will send a HQ copy to you (FREE), just a thanks is all I ask.
