Today will start the second week after the bent over issue. This week I just gave early morning and late afternoon sunlight . Seedling seems in good condition however there is a little yellow spot at the end of the leaf. I am looking forward to start to give more sunlight. Please right down any comment or suggestions

Hello Everyone. This is my first plant . I had an issue after the second day of sun. I found the plant bent over after an hot and dry day . I had to irrigate a little bit and put a support .

I usually won’t stake until I'm ready to move them outside. I normally use a 3 foot bamboo stake, but a chop stick might work for a bit in a pinch. Whichever you choose, do it sooner rather then later. Less of a chance of damaging any roots. Happy Growing 🌱

You can use dome for seedling , they create a cozy atmmosphere helping a lot to deal with moisture fluctuation. But you must avoid direct heavy sun/light , they can turn your dome into a sauna. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20170429/ba2dc7d4ad3cfe04e29cd23f507f6693.jpg Cheap solution exist to monitor your soil moisture and PH level. A couple of $ can help you to get some good information. https://images.homedepot-static.com/productImages/4f24c916-2f07-4eee-bb82-25b47f886eab/svn/hydro-crunch-moisture-sensors-d940010500-64_1000.jpg Some strain like to start into large container but some give better result using small starting media like jiffy or rockwoll, moving to a 1L container before the final/big one.

@Eml081, All day :) minimum of 16 to 18h of light for vegetative state. The shadow thing is a good move. Baby and clone need 5 000–7 000 Lux. Direct sunlight is about 110 000-120 000 Lux, 20,000 a cloudy day. All this light and eat make your road the a perfect start very hazardous and complicated. Next time best way is to start the seed indoor under a low heat/light like neon. 2 or 3 week, 1 week(around) in jiffy/cube, 10-14 day in middle size container. At this point plant can handle heat and direct sunlight.

@neuraxis, many thanks for your text ! I did start with jiffy and moved to the final contaner . I have got a lot of sun during the morning on my balcony and probably seedling suffered a bit . I will try to create a shadow with another plant . Talking about your first link ...how many hours of sunlight should I give to the plant? I have morning on one side of the house and the afternoon on the opposite
