DireStar OK so this is my first grow ever.
The seeds germinated REALLY well, but the biggest sprout actually shed it's shell when I put it in the solo cup and I am not sure how badly that will affect it. (She is the single solo cup picture)
I'm really relying on your help everyone, especially aroundd feeding and watering schedules.
Autoflowers need less nutes than recommended right?
I look forward to the journey with all of you!
How often should I be watering these seedlings?
I am keeping them inside, for the first week and then moving them outside for the rest of their lifecycle, should I wait two weeks?
Growing in 5 gallon smart pots when I transfer them.
Hey gardener, my former roommate always told me to use 20% of the pot volume, so if your pot is 5 gallons, you water with 1 gallon and you do it again every time the soil dries out. You can also lift your pot to see if it's lighter and if you need to water now or later. For your plants, wait 2 weeks before taking them out so they get strong.
DireStar OK so this is the second week of my first grow.
Watering once every day or two.
2 or 3 spritz a cup of spring water, depending on how dry the soil is getting
One of the seeds (Rocky) just did not want to root and start growing. it is still taking forever.
Started them in a West facing window but moved them to a South facing window just in time for us to catch a heat wave.
I am worried about the amount of bending they are doing while trying to catch the sun.
Someone also told me they are too tall for how old they are, which is a bad thing.
Feed back?
Really excited for this grow and some of the leaves look beautiful.
When should I think about moving them outside to their 5 gal pots?
Do I need to do anything with these seedling to make sure they grow straight and strong?
They are growing sideways trying to reach the sunlight from the window.
Also, what is up with the purple stem?
