OH, and heads up for you frugal freddys/recyclers you can get free 5 gallon food grade buckets at almost any bakery, dunkin doughnuts and a bunch of other fast food chains. Just call up and ask if they have any. They throw them away all the time.
Greeneyed_Ganja_Goddess Going well. Seed cap did get stuck and wasn't able to shed it itself so after a few days I sprayed it with water and helped take it off without damaging anything.

Greeneyed_Ganja_Goddess My very first grow! Trying to keep it as natural and healthy as possible. Mostly here to get advice from other organic growers. I'd love to chat with anyone who knows what they are doing lol!
Greeneyed_Ganja_Goddess Everything is going well so far, I'm just wondering if she is as big as she should be. Wondering how much smaller (if any) she is and will be compared to a non organic grow. But as long as I end up with some pure and delicious buds in the end I'll be a happy gal.
1/17/18 noticed first set of bottom leaves are dying. Watered and added a small amount NPK organic nutrients to see if this helps or makes things worse.
1/27/18 still looking healthy but getting very bushy and the soil shrunk down so much I am hoping I won't have issues with airflow and light getting through. Trying to LST the best I can. Accidentally broke branch on my northern lights I have next to it. Tried to tape it bit it was too broke
1/30/18 watered with compost tea, himalayan salt and a little lemon to get the pH down to 6.5. Also plucked a few fan leaves off. Just like 3 or 4. I wasn't going to but there was such a solid canopy and with the soil shrinking so much I needed the light penatration and more airflow.

Greeneyed_Ganja_Goddess Just been removing abt 3 leaves at a time and letting it recover fully before I picked more. So bushy I had to do some trimming to allow more light/airflow
Greeneyed_Ganja_Goddess Getting close! Watching every day. I want a little bit more mellow high so I'm trying to wait for some more amber but have no idea how much longer that will be! No yellowing of leaves, started flushing but I used a organic super soil mix so idk if flushing is even nessesary
Didn't yield as much as I hoped for but I'm not complaining. What is there is the smoothest and most potant green I've ever smoked! The smell is heavenly. And I had no deficiencies or problems while growing. I made 2 mistakes that I believe greatly affected the yield. I did not add enough perlite in my super soil mixture and the soil compacted really badly. And the second thing was I did not have enough fresh air being brought into the grow room. I will definitely make a better set up next time around. But I will be using the same organic nutes that I did this time. It was so easy and and felt great making my own nutes and knowing just how pure and clean my flower is. This whole experience was so rewarding!

Greeneyed_Ganja_Goddess Very nice body buzz. Made me tingly all over. And a floaty euphoric feeling as well. I had a permanent smirk on my face and felt very content. Afterwards I slept like a rock (which is what I wanted bc I have trouble sleeping). If you smoke just a little it's energizing. But if you overdo it you won't want to do anything but relax then sleep like the dead.
Wow, good job, i wanted to start using himalayan sole salt because of the trace minerals in there as a little additive to my nutrients but when i googled about it people were saying they are using salt as a herbicide to kill weeds so i ended up not using it, now i am making my new batch of sole salt and will surely add a few drops along with the nutrients tonight, do you really use 1.3g per 1l of himalayan salt?
@Horus333, thanks! Yeah this is my first grow ever and I just did as much research as possible to figure out how to naturally give the plant everything she needs. And part of that said to add back those trace minerals to your water. Especially if you use RO water bc everything has been so filtered out. I did 1 tsp in a gallon and only did it like every 3rd watering. And alternated doing salt, compost tea, molasses, and a all organic pre mixed fertilizer with all kinds of good crap in it. I never once saw any kind of deficiency. It was almost too easy once I figured out my recipes and tracked down everything locally. That part was a pain in the ass.
I wanted to add molasses about third week before harvest, it supposedly enhances the taste and smell of the flowers, i don't want the cannabis to smell all the way downstairs, too lol
