Day 1 (12th): So this is day 1 for this lil guy. He has officially popped his head out. So not really Veg week 1, but I am going to start it here. I put the seed in a jiffy pellet on the 7th of May and on the 12th (Today) he stuck his head out. 16.05.2020 - So the little guy is starting to look a lot better.I let him dry out a bit and the first little leaves are growing nicely now. I am using heating pads underneath the pot as it is winter here and quite chilly at night and during the day. For that reason my 6 hours off will also be in the afternoon (warmest time) and I will let the LED run at night. Even though it doesn't put out much heat, it will put out some. If this doesn't end up being enough heat I will need to get another bar type heater. But as this is a DIY tent I do not really want to go down that road. The heating pads underneath go to around 38-40 C and should keep the roots warm enough at least. But I will see in the coming days and as it gets colder as we are only at the beginning now. Update:>>> I added a heater now. Getting it nice and toasty now which is great.

Day 10 (21.05) Update: So this week started off a lot better. The temps are more consistent now after I automated the heater. I am also getting into a watering routine, although currently the watering requirements are of course very low. This little guy is growing nicely with days 8-10 showing the second set of real leaves starting to grow. I lowered the lights this week initially down to 70cm from the canopy and then to 60cm as the bubbleberry was stretching a bit much for my liking. I am still just watering with un-PHd bottled water. But I think I will correct the PH from now onwards so that I do not affect the medium. As I am using Freedom Farm Soils, the recommended PH is 5.5-6.0. This is as the medium is buffered against lowered PH but not against PH rising. Especially from using un-PHd tap water. Which here by me is over 7.0 of course. The bottled water I am using is at 7.0 so even that is a problem, but I did not want to mess with the seedling in the first week or so. So I watered yesterday (day 9) and will from the next watering today or tomorrow start adjusting the PH to between 5.5 and 6.0. Probably leaning more towards the 6.0 mark. Once we hit the 2 week mark we should be in veg, but I will see what the plant is looking like. I will then be starting the nutes feed as well using BioBiozz Grow to start. Day 14 (25.05) - Just some pics to update. I also started watering with PHd water now. I am using bottled water although I have found a source of RO water now that is relatively cheap. First water I did I dropped down to 5.8 from 6.8. 1ml of lemon juice in 1l of water did that perfectly. Growth is looking good and the 3rd node is starting.

So, it's been an interesting week. The plant was still stretching a lot so I have brought down the light now to 40cm. Although it is quite a lengthy plant already. Will see how it goes and drop more where needed. I also topped on day 20 (31.05.2020) - I topped it on the 4th node and by the next day the 2 new growths were showing already. Nutrients will be starting from Week 4 (2.06.2020). Other than that watering is increasing slightly with me watering every other day or so.

Day 22 - The nutes begin! I am running the first week or so (Week 4) at half strength, so 0.5ml per litre. Will up it to 1ml soon enough and then leave it at that until flowering begins. Watered in at 6.1 to change it up a bit. I am going to be aiming at 5.8 - 6.2 for my watering. The soil I am using suggests 5.5-6.0 and BioBizz mention 6.0-6.5. So as the soil is buffered against the drop to a lower PH and not a higher one, that is where I am aiming at. Being sure to change up the ph slightly from feed to feed. Day 23 - Pics updated. Topping looks good as the shoots are really starting to come out. Hope two nice branches grow from that, then I can top again in some time. Day 24 - Pics updates. Day 25 - I decided to top the plant one node lower. I ended up nipping the first topping when I went to clean it up. I left it for a day, and then saw how the node below it was rocketing with growth. So this means I topped between the 2nd and 3rd node. This was risk, but with the strong stem and good growth I saw, I felt it was the right decision. Fast forward a few days and she is growing strong. Still not drinking to much, but I did take a chunk of the plant away. We should be on our way to more growth soon. Day 27 - Nice strong growth from the 2 new branches. Day 28 - The growth continues. Looking pretty good for 4 weeks in. I did let her stretch too much, so that will be a lesson for next time. Will be topping again soon as the 2nd node is already showing on the new branches.

Day 29 - 9.06.2020 - pic updates. The 2 new branches are growing nicely. Day 31 - 11.06.2020 - Pic updates. I have also topped her again on the new branches. I topped above the 2nd node this time, so basically cut the 3rd node off. I have also started with LST in a mainlining fashion. I took the plant out of the tent to do that quickly so have gotten some pics under normal light. Day 32 - 12.06.2020 - Pic updates and LST adjustment. Day 33 - 13.06.2020 - Pic updates. New shoots are slowly starting to come through. Day 35 - 15.06.2020 - Pic updates. I adjusted the LST wires again. I am really bringing down the branches in almost a fully horizontal position. Basically mainlining it but with LST. The nodes that were underneath are now getting nice light and should all start shooting up.

Day 36 - 16.06.2020 - Pic updates. LST continues. The plan is to mainline/LST it flat and then once the next 3rd node or so pops out I will top again. As I currently have 4 main branches, and another 4 appearing below that makes 8. If topped this will turn into 16, and I will probably leave it there and just even out the canopy nicely. At this point it is a juggling act of what to do. The original plan was for the Dark Devil (same tent) to finish quickly and then grow out this strain and the Bubba Kush (same tent). But as my first auto got ripped out I had to plant again and have a 3 week delay on the dark devil. So I am hoping to still get the Dark devil done by the time this one is evened out. Then I will either finish this with the Bubba Kush or finish the bubba kush quickly as well and then grow this one alone in the tent for flower. But time and growth will tell :) Day 38 - 18.06.2020 - Pic updates. The new shoots are definitely growing out nicely now as well as those under it. So the 8 potential heads are looking good. Will see how it goes from here. I am also feeding full strength on the BioGrow now for my medium (1ml/l). I water about 400ml at a time and that usually keeps the plant going for 3-4 days before it dries out/drinks it all. But it has also been under some serious LST stress. Overall, its looking great though. Day 41 - 21.06.2020 - Pic updates. Growing strong and more nutes given.

Day 43 - 23.06.2020 - Pic updates. So I have now adjusted the LST wires and added some more. I also topped all the main bud sites again. We should now be getting 16 bud sites once they grow out, so I don't think I will be topping again unless I need to keep her down while the auto finishes. At this rate this plant is going to be big, but when I transplant her to the final 20l pot I will plant her deep to compensate for the stretch we had early on. Day 44 - 24.06.2020 - Pic updates. Been busy this side, so have just been keeping the main routine for now.

Day 50 - 30.06.2020 - Pic Updates. I have been training her a lot and she is still looking really good. Once I flip to flower I will transplant her into her final 20 litre pot. No more topping or anything needed just some training. Depending on the auto I have growing in the same tent I will switch this one to flower soon or wait. Day 55 - 5.07.2020 - Pic Updates. And more training continues. She is really looking good and showing a lot of potential bud sites. Day 56 - 6.07.2020 - Pic Updates. I am still varying the ph of the waterings with every feed and still feeding every 3-4 days or so. I have reduced the humidity down a bit as my other plant goes into flower and these are nearing their own time to flip.

Day 58 - 8.07.2020 - Pic updates. I have now turned on the bloom switch on the light and turned off the grow switch. It is slightly stronger, so I raised the light a bit. I will put the grow switch back on again in a few weeks to basically ramp up the lighting as we progress with the Dark devil which is in the same tent. I am still hoping the dark devil finishes by the time I flip these, or is closer to being done at least. Day 59 - 9.07.2020 - Pic updates. Some more LST to keep everything in line. I have quite a nice even canopy, but some of the bud sites are trailing behind a little. So I am working on evening it out more. I kind of feel like when I flip it to flower I will be able to sort out some more with the ScrOG net as right now there are a lot of bud sites. Day 61 - 11.07.2020 - Pic updates. Day 63 - 13.07.2020 - Pic updates.

Day 71 - 21.07.2020 - Pic updates. Day 73 - 23.07.2020 - Pic updates. Day 74 - 24.07.2020 - Pic updates. She is really looking good and I would normally flip to flower now. But I am waiting for the Dark devil to be further along. I am considering transplanting her though, and then flipping to flower as of week 12. Will see what I think later. I have relaxed on the LST now as she is looking good. Once I get the trellis net up it will allow me to train a bit more. The temps have come up a bit with warmer weather here. I also noticed the PH of the soil is 7.0 and so is the run off. Checking my soil out the bag it is the same. So am thinking the next waterings need to rather be below 6.0. The company I use suggests 5.5-6.0. I have mainly been sticking to that with the odd watering being 6.1. Day 75 - 25.07.2020 - Pic updates. Day 77 - 27.07.2020 - Pic updates.

Day 80 - 30.07.2020 - Pic updates. So today was transplant day. I have now moved them to a 20 litre pot for flower. The roots looked good and haven't circled too much. I moved them a bit to encourage growth into the new medium. I will give them 1-2 weeks to recover (while the Dark devil in the same tent continues) and then I will flip to flower. I will be doing some defoliating soon too. I planted her a bit deeper as she had stretched. Day 84 - 3.08.2020 - Pic updates. She has recovered nicely from the transplant. I did water her last around the 5.6 mark, so hoping that will bring down the mediums PH slightly. I will defoliate her later this week which will be in week 13.

Day 85 - 4.08.2020 - She is by far looking the healthiest out of all of my plants. She has a very slight lightened tone on the tip of the leaves, but other than that nothing. I don't think it is nutes and my feeling is more on the light side, but I am not too concerned at this point and will just keep an eye on her. I am continuing my waterings at a PH of 5.6 and that should keep the medium in a happy place. As the Dark Devil plant looks like it is starting to near completion. I am contemplating flipping this one to flower soon. Either in a week or 2. But lets see. I also got a nice bit of defoliation in. Day 88 - 7.08.2020 - Pic updates. Day 90 - 9.08.2020 - Pic updates. She is looking really good. She took well to the defoliation and I have 14 solid stems/heads that will grow nicely once flipped. So the training has paid off. Once I get the scrog net in I will flatten those and no doubt create more heads.

Day 100 - 19.08.2020 - Pic updates. This lady is in her element. She has a nice even canopy cover, clean under carriage and is primed to shoot up. I will be installing a trellis net as soon as the Dark devil is done and I can move her out (probably 1-2 weeks max). And then I will pull down and train the branches. I could basically just have her in this tent and fill out the space, but I am going to try keep the Bubba Kush in there too. But she is definitely primed and ready to grow some nice buds. Some little pre flowers have started, so she is on her way. Day 102 - 21.08.2020 - Pic updates. Day 105 - 24.08.2020 - Pic updates.

She has shot up quite a bit and is in need of training, but I am waiting for the Dark Devil auto to finish still. Day 107 - 26.08.2020 - Pic updates. I gave her a nice defoliation as can be seen on the pics to clean up the lower canopy mainly. Day 109 - 28.08.2020 - Pic updates. I gave her a nice bit of LST training which I left for a few days. This was mainly to make her bunch outwards a bit and separate all the lovely stems. This will make more room for air and for buds to grow.

Day 132 - 22.09.2020 - Pic updates. Now that my other plant got the boot, this lady has more space. I put up the trellis net to move the branches slightly and get better light penetration. Day 134 - 24.09.2020 - Pic updates. Her lower leaves are starting to yellow which is concerning. I am keeping an eye on her. Day 138 - 28.09.2020 - Pic updates. So definitely concerned. I went out and got the items I needed to start brewing a compost tea as she was yellowing more and looking a bit sad. Even though all my nutes have been given and the PH is right, I do not know why she is having these issues, but I am hoping a nice compost tea will get her back. Other than that she needs to put on more weight. But of the little buds that are there, they are dense as can be. So I am happy with what I see quality wise so far. I will be checking her in more detail later to see what the trichomes are doing, but when I checked quickly we were still very clear.

@Canna96, thank you! She really is looking good, by far my best plant to date. I should be flipping her to flower soon, so the excitement continues :)

I currently have two journals for bubbleberry. What breeder did you get the seeds from? Mine is clone. She is looking really good, gonna blow up for bloom
