I had 3 seeds - directed planted 2 into raised garden beds and one tried germinating using paper towel method...
For the papertowel method I soaked the seed in a glass of bottle water for 12 hours (until it suck), then put the seed between to damp pieces of paper towel... placed this into a snap lock (sandwich) bag and placed in a warm dark place for 4 days.... tap root appeared (was a few mm long).
Planted the germinating seed into garden bed, did not sprout....

The two I direct buried (used tweezers , in hole about 1 knuckle deep)... sprouted
Made a little tea up, have been focusing on watering every second / third day for a deep watering, rather than a daily wet.
Nuits to date have been extremely light on, made up some blackstrap mollasses mix with some Nuits today.... will see how it reacts....
Update:
not sure if the tea / nuits I fed them, but leaves are getting bigger and steams are becoming more solid.... I had planned to LST one, and Let one go naturally (without lst or HST) and we what would give best yields under the same conditions. Then a brain explosion - I fim’d one
I’ve used handy little tent pegs and some copper wire to hold it in place.... again this is my first time, we’ll see how it goes... I was going to keep one normal and LST the other however because plant #1 was stunted from fimming, I may as well keep it and LST both to see the difference in results.... next time I’ll let one grow normally and see the difference....
Wierd these haven’t started flowing yet - the topped plant stunted for about a week, then using LST I snapped the newly formed second cola lol... so that was a waste of time
Has been pretty rubbish weather of late, I see one of the girls finally getting her pre flower on.... I’m not completely upset as I’ve been able to get a fair bit more growth on them through veg.... I think it was meant to be about 60 day veg - then 30-40 days flower... going pretty well, unfortunately had a flowering branch snap completely off using LST - plant didn’t really go much into shock which was good. I have modified the LST to bring the overall stem height up a little, as some bing trees are blocking the sun sometime.... all in all, going relatively ok at the moment, they aren’t the hydro beasts I’ve seen, but they seem to be really filling out with multiple flowing shoots starting to pop.
We are definitely started out flowing process now, there was an issue with some overgrown trees causing shade on plat 1, I think plant 2 is more advanced in flower... here are some pics I’ll go more into depth next week, I did take a few of the larger fan leaves off recently - not sure if it was worthwhile
